The Rainbow Room by Massimo CapraCouldn't be more pleaseThe meal and service was absolutely amazing, me nor my husband could have been more pleased with what we had for dinner or how we were treated by the staff6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSooooooo GoodA great view from pretty much wherever you sit. Menu was small but had a good array of choices.
My husband and I had the lamb and the gluten free cannelloni and it was phenomenal. The flavours were so delicious. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. Great service and great food.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMsomething speciali could not believe the experince was so special having travelled from england this was a golden wedding treat and all aspects of the food service the food and the and the whole experience thankyou..all this was marred the following day when i was advised by my bank the the account was charged to my account having paid the invoice in full in cash to your waiter plus a generous tip .please confirm that if this has been debited to my it will be credited back to my to my account6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMMemorable ExperienceWhat a wonderful place to go for a great meal with the most magnificent view of one of the world's most favorite icons! What could be better than having a perfectly prepared meal served by a most accommodating staff. We hadn't visited this truly beautiful place in over 30 years and the area around Niagara Falls has definitely changed for the better. It still has some of the touristy type of spots we remembered but the hotels and new casinos give the visitor a great place to spend some quality time. This restaurant is a prime example of what a true fine dining experience is all about. I hope it stays around for awhile so we can visit it again ( sooner than another 30 years)!6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful menu selectionsWonderful menu selections and very personal service. This is a great restaurant not to be missed for a dressy night out or special occasion in Niagara Falls.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding ServiceWe were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Our waitress could not have been more helpful or pleasant. She really helped make our evening special - by being attentive when we needed her and leaving us alone so as not to disrupt our romantic evening. The food was good although the entire meal was a little over-salted.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat view of the fallsView of the falls was incredible, food was very good and waiter was attentive and very knowlegable regarding the falls6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMFANTASTIC!We purchased a Travelzoo deal that included money towards dining at the Rainbow Room by Massimo Capra. Was a bit hesitant as we would be dining with an 8 year old, but the staff on the phone at the Skyline Inn assured us that there was a children's menu and that all would be fine.
We were not disappointed! We had a terrific table over looking Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. The Mushroom Bruschetta with fresh buffalo mozarella was absolutely divine. For main courses I had the Mushroom Risotto and my partner had the Half Chicken. The 8 year old feasted on chicken fingers and french fries. The Rosemary Focaccia bread with roasted red pepper hummus was also excellent.
We will return6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for a special occasionMy boyfriend and I dined here for our annual Niagara Falls anniversary trip. We did this as a special occasion dinner, prompted by the $40 voucher we received through our hotel package. Has an amazing scenic view of both falls - very captivating and romantic. We ordered an appetizer, and each had an entree (steak for myself, scallops for him). The scallops were divine, and are strongly recommended. The steak was great in itself. Our server was a very polite, courteous gentleman who was very knowledgeable about the food he presented. Overall, great experience. Would go back again!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food with a perfect viewIf you want to dine with a wonderful view of Niagara Falls this is the place. The service is fabulous. The portions were larger then expected. We enjoyed our experience there.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMSaturday nightMy fiancee and I decided to try The Rainbow Room as a bit of change from the usual. The food was great and the portions were very generous (which I wasn't expecting). The service was great, will definitely try again.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMMom's 87thWe had a great experience at your restaurant. It was my mothers 87 birthday and she had a wonderful time. The people were all helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and the view fantastic.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMprivate and romanticMy boyfriend and I had dinner at The Rainbow for his birthday. Our waiter and even the other staff were extremely polite and attentive. They made us feel very welcome. We had a great table with a very nice view and they insisted we stay longer for the fireworks. The food was wonderful, great selection of wine and desserts. It is quite romantic and private, not very crowded. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back. We had a one night couple's package which included $40 off the total cost of dinner. With a 4-course meal plus two glasses of wine our total came up to $130 after the special discount offer, which is reasonable for places like this.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMsomething fishyMy wife and I enjoyed great service from Matt. We had salmon for her and halibut for me. We were unable to book a room at the hotel in time. Saturday was our 39th anniversary. We have dined there before and so came back. As I told Matt the halibut was the best fish I ever had. All in all a great dining experience5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGood Overall Place to be: Romantic!I found the Rainbow Room to be a very comfortable place with excellent service. I really liked how you are able to take your wine bottle back to the room (if you are staying at Crowne Plaza). Every seat within the restaurant was a good seat to view the falls. It is a romantic venue and at the same time somewhere where you can bring the family and large groups.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDress Code PleaseWe did enjoy the dinner but had a bit of an issue with dress code. If you are going to be a fine dining restaurant, you should press the fact of a dress code. This was very disappointing as we dressed up and others came in with jeans and shorts. The ambience does lack a bit of a romance with the resturant.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
