The Rail StopFinally found a good crabcake!Went to Rail Stop on Saturday night for our anniversary. Was very hesitant to order crab cakes b/c I grew up on Eastern shore and have been searching for a good crab cake since I moved to this area over 30 years ago. Never found one, until now. The price was a little steep, but I felt it would be worth it if the crabcakes were good. I was so pleasantly surprised! The meal was delicious, and just the right amount that I felt full, but not regretful. The price was appropriate for the quality of food. Portion size was just right and allowed us to have salad, bread, and dessert without feeling overstuffed. The key lime pie was delicious. Love their menu and wines. They have a heavy local following and always make outsiders feel very comfortable and welcome. The menu is short, which is not a bad thing and they also offer a few specials. Always make a reservation as it gets crowded quickly. You can tell that the food is homemade. Mine was very good!
