  • "Wonderful Halibut special. Beautiful evening for dining on the patio."

  • "We visit every couple of months and always find something new on the menu to entice us. Our service was wonderful & the manager obliged us by turning down the music to a level that allowed conversation."

  • "I just love this place. The service starts and ends just right. Food is always great and I love the Watermelon Gazpacho and the salmon. I look forward to returning soon."

  • "Wonderful spot in the heart of "Mayberry" for a romantic meal before or after a movie at the theater next door."

  • "We have visited this restaurant several times. It is located next to an Art Movie House so we go there often. The food is great with some interesting dishes. A good combination of small plates and entrées. Service is always good. A great place to try in Mariemont."

  • "My wife and I go here frequently because we know food and ambience is very good. This visit we had scallops with duck confit and my wife had ruby red trout and both were excellent. The only disappointment was the bread- normally crust was crisp, this time soft crust. We will be back soon. Recommend it highly."

  • "Loved the pasta with spinach and salmon! It was a delicious treat and large enough to split with a salad."

  • "Great restaurant with very nice outdoor seating. However, outdoor tables are first come first serve and cannot be reserved on open table even with request in the special request area."

  • "Had a lovely dinner and movie night, the temperature was perfect for patio dining. Shareable appetizers and small entrees are always my favorites, especially in summer."

  • "This was a delightful restaurant! I would dine here again."

  • "We ate dinner here before going to a movie at the Mariemont Theater. The server did an excellent job of getting us out on time for the movie. We ate rather light but everything was really good. We have eaten here before and it is certainly a great destination restaurant too. "

  • "My wife loved the Quarter Bistro. According to her her filet was marvelous. I had the tilefish special which was special. The accompanying potatoes and asparagus were pedestrian. You can get almost an identical, but better, meal at the Palace downtown for $8 less. The sidecar cocktails we had were very good and at only $5 each (not happy hour pricing) became terrific. We split the S'Mores creme brulet for dessert and it was great. Decor at the restaurant is very pleasing. My wife wants to return but she's going to have to do something extra special to convince me to do so."

  • "Great service, great food. A favorite of ours. Chose Quarter Bistro, this time around, as a place to entertain out-of-town guests. They enjoyed the restaurant as much as we do."

  • "good food but somewhat small portions for the price but a little pricey for just a normal night out, more the place i would go for a special occasion only"

  • "We met friends for dinner before a movie at the Mariemont Theatre next door. Our server was friendly and attentive. She made excellent suggestions on entrees. The bar selections were very nice. The food was tasty. Overall a very nice dining experience. We could have enjoyed staying longer, but had to rush out to our movie. Next time we will plan on hanging a bit longer. "

  • "We dined on a Saturday evening. The service was very good, but both dinners should have been sent back. I asked for medium well, but the burger was past well done and very dry. It was clear that the rest of our food had been sitting under a lamp; the fries were dry and brittle, and my wife's flat bread was over also dry having sat for a while in the kitchen. "

  • "The outside patio is great on a nice evening. The tables are better spaced out and you don't feel like you're sitting on top of neighboring tables as when you're indoors. Waitress and kitchen server had a rough night. Asked for hot sauce from both of them. Never got it. Waitress was apologetic and comped one beer. Nice jesture but I really wanted hot sauce! Lol. That said, one of our favorite no-fuss restaurants."

  • "From the minute we entered the establishment to the time we left, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The food was wonderful, the service was exceptional and the atmosphere was low-key. We even met the chef, Kase, who was very endearing and knowledgeable. We have been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Thank you!"

  • "My girlfriend and I love mussels and thought that we'd found our favorites when we dined at Zula. To discover that Quarter Bistro's were even better gave us such a pleasant surprise! The truffle fries are outstanding, as well. We split mussels, a Caesar salad, grilled asparagus, and the fries, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The homemade bread dipped in the mussel sauce was heavenly. I enjoyed a West 6th IPA in a super cool can-shaped glass, while my girlfriend had a lovely Chardonnay. The Bistro's wine list is pretty extensive. My only issue with the place, besides service that ran a little on the slow side, was the cramped space. Even though we were there on date night, it wasn't an intimate vibe; too many tables tightly packed."

  • "Service was pretty good. They obviously have a good relationship with the Mariemont Theatre. Not only did they provide a special menu relating to the classic movie that played that evening, but the servers (at least ours) checked w/ us about if we were seeing the movie after dinner (or if we had any plans afterwards & therefore had a certain time schedule). I got the French Onion Soup. I thought about also getting a side, but after asking the server about portion, I chose wisely to stick with the 10 oz soup. I might have preferred the side dish better. While there was nothing specially off-putting about the taste of the soup, it was definitely nothing special. In fact I had made French Onion soup myself several months ago that was better."

  • "we had a great time introducing some close freinds to this little gem we've been to once before. Food was reasonably priced, moderately creative, but well prepared. Service very good...servers name was Daniel and he made us feel welcome and "at home" and was helpful, polite and gracious. The atmosphere and ambiance was my favorite part. The colors and decor was very soothing and elegant, the table was nicely set and the chairs were very comfy. There was a great energy to the place too...it was a kinda strange and delightful combination of elegance in the midst of excitement and energy from the crowd."

  • "As we walked in, I felt like we'd been transported to a New York restaurant in the 20's. Ryan, our server was prompt, personable and made us feel at home - and gave us the time to make decisions with no rush. The martini's were fantastic - creative without being too far out of the main stream. Our appetizer - the calamari - was just right - not rubbery or overly breaded and came with 2 sauces. We decided to share the beet salad and the special - sea bass on a bed of wild rice. No issues or up charge for splitting the entrée and that left us with room for desert. Ryan recommended a great white burgundy for the sea bass that was NOT the most expensive on the list ( a pet peeve of mine). Flourless chocolate and a port were a perfect end."

  • "Our waiter made the evening very special for our daughter. He was So knowledgeable regarding wines, the menu, and kept acknowledging "the birthday girl". 3 of our party ordered the special which was tilefish, which our waiter described as similar to grouper. It was excellent! The lobster macaroni was also very good. My husband ordered the French onion soup which was as good as we experienced in Paris, France. Lovely décor. We are so lucky to have this restaurant in Mariemont."

  • "We really like the vibe and location but the food was nothing special. Had the calamari appetizer, beet salad, trout, and flourless chocolate torte. Loved the blood orange martini though. The noise level was high but if you are able to dine outside its wonderful."

  • "I sometimes forget about this great spot in Mariemont. The interior is a cool red with energetic decor. The dining room is great for a date. But it isn't a quiet place, as the bar area was hopping with live classical guitar so it doesn't feel stale at all. The food is great."
