The Quarter BistroHighly recomendWe celebrated my daughter's graduation from UM at the Quarter Bistro! We could not have been happier! We were running 1/2 hour earlier than our 2:00 reservations, so I called and asked if we could come at 1:30 instead and they said no problem. They were very accommodating! We had to wait a little while for our waiter, but otherwise the service was excellent and the food was outstanding! One of our guests was in a wheelchair and she was easily accommodated. We were allowed to stay at our table for as long as we liked without feeling a pressure to order more food. The complimentary bread that I usually try to avoid was good - too good - and it was served with an outstanding fresh hummus. We ordered oysters for starters and they were what you would expect. I had a delicious muffuletta for my main course, my companions had steak and gumbo. The wine list was decent but overpriced, and a 2010 Cab showed up instead of the 2009 we ordered. We were distracted when the waitress brought it over and we didn't notice. I was in the right mood for the play list - mostly 70's tunes I rarely hear (Ain't No Sunshine). It was loud though.
