The wait staff was attentive and informative, important first impression. The recommended wine paired well with our dinners. Wonderful appetizer selections, I would have liked to have a sampler platter of these as a dinner choice! The entire table enjoyed the cheese and meat selections on the charcuterie tray (special praise for the truffle cheese). As much as we enjoyed the appetizers and both the seafood and beef dinners, we wouldn't recommend the deserts. Bread pudding was tasty, but icing on cake had taste and consistency of too much of vegetable shortening.

It took forever to get our food. The place was noisy and the kids running around were annoying. Who gives a customer one piece of bread and goes away--no bread basket. I won't go here again. Very disappointing.

Took my wife for her love of Prime Rib. For a restaurant of this pedigree, it is not living up to its name or prices. I ordered a crab cake appetizer which, for all of its abundance of crab, was served dry and barely warm. It was clear it had been sitting for a while. We both ordered the prime rib and it did not dissapoint. The asparagus were exceptional. We both ordered the creme brûlée as it is a favorite dessert choice of ours. For a meal of this caliber it was a huge disappointment. For a Friday night dinner we should not expect these types of preparation blunders. Still, we are willing to give it another try and hope for it to live up to the names reputation.

we had an excellent meal at this location - it was all we expected. However, our service was particularly poor. We would go for great lengths of time without seeing our server. I expect better at the Prime Rib. I finally asked a passing employee (when I finally got someone to look at me) to please get our waiter. Shouldn't be that way in a restaurant of this caliber.

  • Not Impressive Considering the Cost

The was food was 'good', but not impressive given the cost of the meals. The steaks were good, but costly and not better than what I have had for less money at places like Shula's, Ruth's Chris, Flemings, etc. One party member had fish. The fish was dry and flavorless. Atmosphere was noisy and at least two plates were dropped/broken while we were there and one waiter fell down flat on his face right in front of us because of water on the floor. Two people hovered over us at all times. They were apparently bathroom monitors. The Prime Rib might be really good in downtown Baltimore, but it's just average at the Maryland Live Casino location. If you are looking to put down $100.00 a person for a meal, I'd choose a different venue.

The food here is incredible. The service was impeccable. My boyfriend and I both ordered the surf and turf with lobster and steak. The steak was cooked to perfection. Before the main course, we both had caesar salads and he order oysters which were served hot. Bread was delivered to us by hand as well. It was a delicious meal that ended with creme brulee and coffee. This was my second time here and I was very impressed. The food is great.

Had a good time. Make sure to ask how much the specials are. We're very surprised to get the bill to see my entre is triple the price of most the other entre selections. (Tomahawk ribeye is $145). Besides that good time. Would not have ordered it if the waitress let me know lol. She was great and the food was good.

If you are called the Prime Rib you should have the very best tasting Prime Rib. The prime rib was bland, tough and fatty. The thing they did well was for celebrating my sons birthday they went out of their way to make a special, complimentary dessert specifically for his tastes.

The Prime Rib is a great series of restaurants and this one did not disappoint. The food, as expected, was fantastic. The steaks were cooked as ordered and very flavorful. The biggest surprise was we were seated right next to the casino with a window and no noise came through. The casino noise was blocked and the restaurant atmosphere prevailed. Out waiter was very attentive all night.

The Prime Rib has been one of my all time favorite restaurants in Maryland (In this country as we travel widely) since my youth when we traveled to the Baltimore location to eat there. We have eaten at this LIVE location three times now and have enjoyed the food immensely each time. The wait service has been excellent each time as well. My only problem is with the front end staff and the management. Fine dining is all about customer service, and regardless of the Casino clientele dressed in flipflops and shorts sitting next to us, whilst we were in jackets and business casual attire, the substandard service was all at the front of the restaurant. The hostess staff had us wait over and hour when we had a reservation? Management hid

The cost of dinner at the Prime Rib is substantial and due to that I expected excellent service, more choices and the food to be the correct temperature and presentation superb-- to which none of this was!!!!!!! My Lobster Bisque was moderately warm and I asked for lemon for it and by the time I had to request it twice the soup was almost too cold to eat. My friend selected Imperial Crab and had to send it back the first time due to no Imperial sauce on it and not browned/broiled. She sent it back a second time to get browned more because it was very lightly browned. We both got fries with meal and they were barely warm. The waitress seemed to have little patience for some of our inquires and requests. I expected a lot more!!!!

My wife and I had a reservation for 6:30. We arrived at that time and we're greeted by the hostess. We decided to have a drink at the bar. The bartender was extremely friendly and informative. At my request we were seated at 7:30. My wife ordered the lobster bisque and I had the french onion soup appetizers. Both were excellent. For our entree my wife ordered the mussels. They were very good, a little bit spicy, but good. I had the stuffed flounder. It was excellent, just a little dry. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and made good suggestions. We were not rushed and had plenty of time to talk, enjoy our drinks and eat dinner. We will be back.

I took my wife here for dinner, normally we really enjoy 'The Prime Rib' this was our first attempt to go to the one at MD Live. Except for the french onion soup our food was very mediocre. It tasted bland of seasoning and on some parts was only a little warm. For not being busy our waitress kept disappearing and was hard to find at the end when we wanted our bill.

I came for a romantic dinner. Needless to say, i was very disappointed in this restaurant. For the price, they did not execute. The server never introduced himself. The ribeye was pretty good... after I sent it back for more cooking. Just don't bother going here unless invited with someone else picking up the tab.

I have been to the one downtown before. First time at Live. I did not get prime rib but a veal chop. Chop was excellent quality but not seasoned at all. Wife had stuffed flounder. Not seasoned well either and cooked too much. Beautiful restaurant and service and staff were very nice. I did expect more from the food.

Everything was wonderful as usual, but we were disappointed in the cream spinach dish. It needed to be creamier. Steaks out of this world. I do not like having to pay for Bearnaise Sauce. I feel that it should be automatically served with an almost 50 dollar Filet Mignon. It is cheap and beneath a restaurant of this caliber to charge for a condiment that is meant to be served with a great filet. Rethink this Prime Rib and maybe stop charging. It could not even cost 1 dollar to prepare.

Food is mediocre & prices are high. We reviewed the menus and made our selections and then the waitress shared the specials with us. The waitress didn't disclose the cost of the specials so we made the assumption that the cost would be a bit higher than regular menu items. When the bill came that 1 of the steaks was $145! The special was more than double. We live near the DC area & are accustomed to paying a high price for a good meal, but this felt like robbery for a meal that was just so-so. We felt the waitress was really pushing the specials because it was going to drive her tip through the roof. We won't go back. There are much better steak houses in the Baltimore/DC area that are clear on their prices and the quality is better.

Wow!! What can I say that will capture the true essence of an outstanding evening at The Prime Rib! My family was treated to an impeccable evening in celebration of my wife's 51st birthday. From our wonderful and very attentive server (Jodi) to the head chef paying us a visit at our table the event was truly memorable. Everyone in our party had steaks and let me tell you, they were perfect in every sense of the word. Please try the new Shrimp Scampi appetizer which is to die for. If you are considering having a romantic evening or hanging out with family and friends give the Prime Rib a chance to WOW you as they did us and always do. Thank you Prime Rib for helping make my family very happy.

Was very disappointed with this visit. Ordered a $90 bottle of champagne that the waitress did not know how to open. The on duty manager had to teach her. The bottle was placed away from the table in a common ice bucket (with two other tables sharing) where we could not reach it when the waitress was not available to refill our glasses. This is something I would expect at a lower end restaurant chain. The crab imperial appetizer and crab cakes both had lots of shells. This was not common in the past. For three people, the total bill with tip was close to $400. It was definitely not worth it. We will stick with Morton's in the future. This place is fine you have a comp from the casino for a free meal; otherwise, don't waste your money.

I have eaten at the prime rib before and the food looked good and it was delicious. I ordered the lamb chops and they were bland and overcooked. To top it off, I took the second chop home for lunch at work the next day and I was thoroughly disappointed - it was mostly fat. Additionally, my guest ordered the prime rib and she received this huge chunk of meat that was the end cut, not sliced, and very overcooked. We are not the complaining type of people and the meal was free (on the casino). I'm not quite sure what happened, but I don't believe this is the routine. Because of this, I would not recommend this restaurant at this time - last year, I would have recommended it as the best place to eat in the casino.
