Awesome food, my family visited from the South so I was quite nervous about CO style southern food. They were quite impressed, all of our food was fantastic. (The greens were a little undercooked for the southern palate but everything else was authentic and great)

We went to The Post for my birthday dinner. My girlfriend and I both enjoyed our cocktails. Her husband was disappointed with his microbrew, but my husband enjoyed his. We ordered a bucket of fried chicken and a bucket of roasted chicken. To my surprise, the roasted chicken was actually slightly better than the fried! (I usually consider roasted chicken to be the sad alternative to the crunchy goodness of fried, but not so here!) We had the green chile mac n cheese, biscuits, broccoli slaw, a side salad and mashed potatoes. They were all tasty. The hot sauces were a treat as well. Service was a little less than optimal, but we did have a large party and the place was packed. Overall, it was a great experience. I will be back!

Staff was very friendly as I would expect as they are dealing with a brand new place and want to make a good impression with the customers. We arrived on time for our reservation and had to wait 10-15 minutes for our table to clear of the prior party. Our server (female) was very friendly and helpful with the kids we had in the party. Music was VERY loud, almost to the point of not being able to talk accross our table, that was a turnoff, I didn't expect a "loud bar" atmosphere throughout the whole place. Food was good, at our table we had the fried chicken, braised pork shoulder, brussel sprouts, mac n' cheese, deviled eggs, creamed cabbage, waffles. I would say the chicken & deviled eggs were VERY salty, way too much for my taste.
