The Pointe RestaurantGreat place, I do recommendBooked a table for 2 without knowing a thing about the place nor Provincetown and...we loved it! The place is really nice, the service is perfect. We got there earlier than expected, sat at the bar with a cocktail and chatted with the bartender (owner?), almost forgetting we came for diner... :-) Menu is great, revisiting local products in a way you wouldn't expect, along with a nice wine list (being french, I was more than happy to see what they serve). My chive gnocchi with lobster meat was excellent. My husbands fillet mignon
was also well prepared. He felt a bit more mashed potatoes would
have been good. Our friend loved her soft shelled crab.

The food was very good - the halibut special was noteworthy, perfectly cooked and very fresh.
The wine list offers a nice range of selections at a reasonable price.

The intimate pair of dining rooms were likely parlors for entertaining in a by gone era. Though one could describe the seating as intimate, my partner and I felt we truly had privacy nonetheless. The owners had decorated the rooms with playful, yet tasteful streamers and stars befitting the New Year's eve occasion. We were even provided complimentary party hats! Enough about the setting.
