The Plough and the StarsOne of my favorite restaurantsOne of my favorite restaurants in Philly. Great beer list, fresh food, reasonably priced, fun ambiance. Soda bread is best I've ever had. Love the half & half beer (Guinness/Harp) and Irish Coffee. I imagine weekends are busier, noisier, and more lively, but we enjoyed our quiet evening dinner. Great local pub feel with great beer selection. The bar was packed with a friendly & lively group. Live musice was a bit loud and made conversation difficult until we moved tables upstairs.
