It's in a dark place on the street but the lights are welcomed at Plimoth! Great wines by the glass and a fun menu to select from. A little meat-heavy, but on these cold winter nights, it was a welcome rich menu. Service was really good, and it's quite buzzy inside - chatter and lights and a small bar area so definitely felt some good connections happening around us. A little cold indoors but not bad at all. Would go again!

The Plimoth is just plain fun, with food ranging from good to delicious. The service is always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Wines are not numerous but are well-selected and reasonably priced, for a Colorado restaurant.

The plimoth is a fantastic addition to the City Park/Park Hill dining scene. They were crowded but the service was still excellent, food delicious and reasonably priced, and great wine and beer pairings. The plimoth will be one of our go-to spots for date night, dinner with parents or a ladies night in the neighborhood. Make a reservation, they are hot!

This little gem is so special. It lives up to all of the recent hype it has received. The only stumble was a steak entree that was on the tough side. But everything else was divine. And because it was my birthday, they brought us out a sparkling rose' for a toast. The staff was so thoughtful.

We went to The Plimoth for the first time this weekend for my husband's birthday dinner. Thankfully, we had reservations because it was very crowded and there is waiting space for about 2 people. The checkin process is a bit confusing - the host/hostess checks you in and offers you a drink menu while you wait but he/she cannot take your drink order so you have to wait for someone else to come over and take your order. They are usually doing something else so it just seems a bit longer than necessary. After that initial confusion/delay, it was smooth sailing and a great dining experience. The food was excellent (amber jack cooked perfectly and the duck breast was excellent). Service was great as well - knowledgeable and very helpful.

It's been the second time at the Plimoth for us, and also this time all of our meals were just delicious! This time the Autumnal Squash Salad stood out for me. Food and service wise this is one of the best restaurants in Denver at the moment for us. The downsides are - which won't keep us from coming back - that the seating is a bit tight and the noise level is quite high.

I have known Chef Peter for a while, primarily from his days at the Cook St. school. I think people always wondered when he would open a restaurant and want a "home run" its turned out to be. The food is the main draw here. I certainly hope he gets credit for helping to "lift" the surrounding neighborhood. He will.

The is a restaurant not to be missed -- it will soon become your "go to" place when all the others bore you. We have introduced about a dozen friends to The Plimoth and received many thanks. Be sure to try the duck (I was skeptical but am now a fan) and the pork tenderloin. For appetizers, the house-made kielbasa and the cauliflower gratinee are superb..... I love that they change the menu -- there's always something new to enjoy. BTW, congrats on making Denver's Top Restaurants list during your very first year!!

My wife and I have eaten here twice now and both experiences were fantastic. The food continues to surprise and the service is fantastic. We loved the patio when it was warmer outside and the dinning room has a great vibe in the evening. Our two favorite dishes are the gnocchi, which is incredible and the Radish dish with brown butter, a terrific delight.

Great find in a very unusual location. Food was fabulous, interesting menu, the wine list was thoughtful, and, the wait staff very attentive and friendly. Very nice dinner experience with a friend OR friends. Only issue is you have to make your reservation several days ahead of time to get in.....I made my reservation on Thursday morning for Saturday and the only times available were 4:00 & 4:30 (probably the only time in my life I've eaten that early BUT it was kinda' nice and I might plan to do it more often!). They do have a first come first serve option at the bar and a bar venue at the window wall that does not require reservations. Highly recommended! Oh, AND BEST part easy, FREE street parking!!!

This was our first visit to The Plimouth. One meal was great, the other less so. The crispy chicken, which is a confit with collard greens, was fantastic, delicious and complex as a plate. The fish, however, was overcooked, although the accompaniments were excellent. The wine list is more than adequate and reasonably priced and contains multiple choices for specific grape varieties, such as Pinot Noir, at different price points. Our server was personable, competent, and excited about the food she was serving. The staff work together in a complementary manner. Finally, the ambiance in this small restaurant is charming, warm and inviting, increasingly a rarity.

We went for a birthday celebration which I had discussed prior to the reservation. I was told that the restaurant offered a glass of something for the BD celelbration. When the waiter brought nothing, I mentioned it to him. He never responded not did he bring the drink. The person I talked to on the phone said "we will make sure the birthday is really special", but there was not even a happy birthday greeting. The waiter spoke fast, difficult to understand. The food was good but I had a hard time finding something that I wanted to eat on the menu. I would go back again , but I didn't love it and would definitely wait until it is not so trendy

The Plimoth quickly became one of our favorite restaurants in Denver. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the rillettes which lived up to the expectation. The salads, beets for my dining partner and tomato bread for me, were fresh, tasty and not overly fussy. The entries of steak frittes for my partner was perfection and my amberjack was moist, tasty and not overdone. Excellent in all respects

This was our first visit to the plimoth and it will far be the last. We were greeted my a very friendly host who seated us immediately. Our server, Katie, was quick to greet and brought delicious drinks promptly. She reviewed the menu in depth and had all our mouths watering! We started with the beet salad, kielbasa and tomato and bread salad. The four of us couldn't decide which was best! For entrees, the cracklin' chicken, amber fish and steak frites were all home runs! Such thought and preparation was obvious! Check this place out soon, and make reservations (however they do take walk - ins for the bar and window seating). One of the best meals all 4 of us had ever had!

Food was excellent, as usual. Noise level was high probably due to Fri. Service very slow due to servers having so many tables. Hopefully, things will get better with time in the service department. Will always go back for the food! A more spacious room(s) would solve a lot of the problem and not make things feel so hectic.

A business contact in Denver tipped me off, I owe her a thank you email. Plimoth was delightful, from the service to the food and ambiance. Mitch was our server, but the entire staff was there to help us. We dined on multiple small courses that were distinct and delicious. Complimentary champagne for desert was a great moment. Mitch even suggested a great follow up for cocktails, Ste. Ellie, which we also loved. Yes to Plimoth!

My sister-in-law bought me a gift certificate for my birthday, and I finally took advantage of it. I live in the neighborhood and was very excited for the Plimoth opening. I had heard plenty of great things, and they all were true. We were greeted warmly when we walked in the door and seated immediately. We were asked by a number of staff if this was our first time in, and as a result received a great deal of information about Plimoth and the menu. Our server, Scott, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu as well as the wine and cocktail list. Overall, a very nice experience, and I will certainly return!

The food was unbelievably good AND unusual! The only reservation time available was 4:00. Early for dinner, but I'd been trying to get a dinner reservation for weeks, so we took it. We actually arrived early (before the restaurant opened) but we were seated on the very pleasant patio and given cool water to drink. The menus were not yet available, as they are freshy printed each evening. We decided to have our dinner on the patio, since it was a gorgeous evening. I'm really glad that we did, since the restaurant is small -- and popular -- and can be very noisy. Our food was outstanding! My husband had said that he wasn't very hungry, yet he ate everything on his generously portioned plate. We WILL go back!
