We went for a birthday celebration which I had discussed prior to the reservation. I was told that the restaurant offered a glass of something for the BD celelbration. When the waiter brought nothing, I mentioned it to him. He never responded not did he bring the drink. The person I talked to on the phone said "we will make sure the birthday is really special", but there was not even a happy birthday greeting. The waiter spoke fast, difficult to understand. The food was good but I had a hard time finding something that I wanted to eat on the menu. I would go back again , but I didn't love it and would definitely wait until it is not so trendy

The Plimoth quickly became one of our favorite restaurants in Denver. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the rillettes which lived up to the expectation. The salads, beets for my dining partner and tomato bread for me, were fresh, tasty and not overly fussy. The entries of steak frittes for my partner was perfection and my amberjack was moist, tasty and not overdone. Excellent in all respects

This was our first visit to the plimoth and it will far be the last. We were greeted my a very friendly host who seated us immediately. Our server, Katie, was quick to greet and brought delicious drinks promptly. She reviewed the menu in depth and had all our mouths watering! We started with the beet salad, kielbasa and tomato and bread salad. The four of us couldn't decide which was best! For entrees, the cracklin' chicken, amber fish and steak frites were all home runs! Such thought and preparation was obvious! Check this place out soon, and make reservations (however they do take walk - ins for the bar and window seating). One of the best meals all 4 of us had ever had!

Food was excellent, as usual. Noise level was high probably due to Fri. Service very slow due to servers having so many tables. Hopefully, things will get better with time in the service department. Will always go back for the food! A more spacious room(s) would solve a lot of the problem and not make things feel so hectic.

A business contact in Denver tipped me off, I owe her a thank you email. Plimoth was delightful, from the service to the food and ambiance. Mitch was our server, but the entire staff was there to help us. We dined on multiple small courses that were distinct and delicious. Complimentary champagne for desert was a great moment. Mitch even suggested a great follow up for cocktails, Ste. Ellie, which we also loved. Yes to Plimoth!

My sister-in-law bought me a gift certificate for my birthday, and I finally took advantage of it. I live in the neighborhood and was very excited for the Plimoth opening. I had heard plenty of great things, and they all were true. We were greeted warmly when we walked in the door and seated immediately. We were asked by a number of staff if this was our first time in, and as a result received a great deal of information about Plimoth and the menu. Our server, Scott, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu as well as the wine and cocktail list. Overall, a very nice experience, and I will certainly return!

We were impressed by the prepared and knowledgeable waitstaff. Their helpful quidance directed us toward a superb combination of starter, entree and desert. We felt well cared for. The food was amazing! Not a disappointing morsel. We chose outdoor seating on a perfect Denver night. Great fun to sit surrounded by elevated planter boxes filled with herbs and different varieties of tomatoes. We would heartily recommend Pimoth to one and all.

The food was unbelievably good AND unusual! The only reservation time available was 4:00. Early for dinner, but I'd been trying to get a dinner reservation for weeks, so we took it. We actually arrived early (before the restaurant opened) but we were seated on the very pleasant patio and given cool water to drink. The menus were not yet available, as they are freshy printed each evening. We decided to have our dinner on the patio, since it was a gorgeous evening. I'm really glad that we did, since the restaurant is small -- and popular -- and can be very noisy. Our food was outstanding! My husband had said that he wasn't very hungry, yet he ate everything on his generously portioned plate. We WILL go back!

Delighted to see new hipper spots opening up in Denver. The Plimoth offers a stylish-casual vibe and good crowd in an intimate, off-the-beaten path space, and is a worthwhile spot for a weeknight dinner or date. The service was great. While the menu was interesting, the food could use some work. The beet salad starter was delicious, but the gnocchi's excessive seasoning and cream sauce could not make up for subpar preparation. In the end, it just felt unhealthy. My friend's "steak frites" was fine but not thrilling. If this place were more centrally located, I'd recommend stopping by for a drink and an appetizer. As it is, I hope people continue to patronize it while the chef works on refining the food.

The food was great. Started with the Naan appetizer - not really naan, but a nice Mediterranean plate of squash, garlic and cool yogurt dip all the same. I originally ordered the Gnocchi, but they were out, so I had the crispy chicken. It was very moist and cooked to perfection. The collard greens with ham that accompanied it was a tad salty, but an interesting side. Dessert was great- a nice omage to the seasonal palasade peaches. I'd go back to try somthing else off the menu, but Id ask for a table away from the door. Also, in regards to ambiance I wish they would have put in a few booths, put some art on the wall, and dimmed the lighting. It feels like a lunch place trying to make it as a dinner place.

We had been hearing rave reviews from our friends about Plimoth so we decided to see for ourselves what was so great. From the minute you walk in and are greeted so warmly, till your last delicious bite, it is a very fulfilling experience. Our server was genuinely excited about the food and was very descriptive. The place is very small and you sit close to other tables, so we could see gorgeous plates leaving the kitchen and hear the people around us raving about how phenomenal their meals were. The menu changes so I'm not going to recommend anything in particular, but just tell you that whatever you order when you go will be delicious, and when you are walking out the door, you will already have ideas about what to order "next time."

I wanted to love the place but I left somewhat disappointed. The place is bright and comfortable, but the food didn't live up to expectations. The highlight was a melon and cucumber salad that was light and refreshing and I would highly recommend that. For an entree I had a redfish that was a little over cooked and over salted. It was served on top of a mix of greens and ham, which was also salty. There was a kind of ragout around it all that was tasty but almost too overwhelming. One of my dinner companions had chicken, which was salty, although the succotash served with it had a nice flavor. We shared a peach cobbler for dessert that was more crust than peaches and the peaches were overly sweetened. I was disappointed.

The Plimouth is a really interesting, high quality restaurant. Interesting menu featuring local and seasonal ingredients prepared cleverly and creatively. The waitstaff is a little "too cool for school" - probably reading their reviews too much - it's not them that makes the restaurant it's the chef and the menu.

Though a little difficult to locate it was worth the effort. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. The fall succotash was especially good and so was the bacon jam for the chicken. Though more typical of newer establishments we found the noise level too high to carry a conversation with our dinner companions. I don't understand why so many restaurants find a high noise level attractive. If I wanted a bar like atmosphere that is where I would go. We dining on fine food with friends I would prefer being able to hear them. It was not easy even hearing the wait staff. High noise level diminishes the experience. The food however was delicious and the prices were reasonable. We are glad to have had that part of the experience.

We have been wanting to have dinner at The Plimoth since it opened, especially after hearing our friends rave about it. We were finally able to score a reservation for Aug. 30 and must say it was definitely worth the wait! This is a happy restaurant ... you can see it in the faces of the employees, and chef's love of cooking certainly shines through in everything that comes out of his kitchen. I suppose there are some who will be put off by the neighborhood, but it didn't bother us at all. We can't wait to go back again.

This restaurant's front blends well into the neighborhood until you step inside. A new world unfolds with aromatic smells, fine wine, knowledgeable staff and of course, the food. The fresh ingredients were prevalent throughout the meal as well in the dessert. All the sauces and spreads were tastefully executed for each dish. There were no complaints coming from our table!!! I also liked how they were able preserved some of the old drugstore that once stood there and the use of the track ties in the restaurant decor.

This was the first time my wife and I had a date in a long time. I've read a number of places to go, and this one had some great reviews. It's a little corner restaurant, with an outdoor patio, and their own garden. We had two starters that were amazing with very friendly & knowledgable wait staff. My wife had the pork tenderloin, and I the steak. Both were amazing, and would be ordered again. The chiefs prepared the food with an open kitchen to watch if wanted. from what I've been told the menu will change every 4-6 weeks which makes it an exciting place to come back to. Hoping for some kind of Scallops or Risotto next time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Cost: We spent about $80 which may be a little high but would totally do it again.
