  • "My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant for over 4 years. We absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and the ambience is one of a kind. I highly recommend the Pescotora (pasta, seafood and spicy marinara) Soo Good!!! But everything is amazing on the menu though. They even have live entertainment most nights of the week. From trapeze to burlesque to live music. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant."

  • "Had a 12:15 reservation with a colleague from out of town - we needed to be back to office by 1pm. We told the waiter about our time constraint. Had delicious caprese salads and enjoyed the view. Very impressive treat for both the out-of-towner and the Seattle-ite."

  • "Despite our reservation, we were seated 30 min late since the host allowed a party without reservations to use our table 50 min before our time. Otherwise, our lunch was fantastic and the view was spectacular."

  • "We have had this place on our "have to go" list based on friends recommendations for a couple of years. Our meal last Saturday evening ranks as one of the top dining experiences we have had in Seattle. It hit on all notes - delicious food, excellent professional wait-staff and service as well as a beautiful patio dining experience. The bruschetta with heirloom tomatoes on garlic infused crusty bread was wonderful. The scallops were amazing and the spinach lasagne with bechamel, pesto and marinara sauces was the best dish I've had in any restaurant in the past year. The waiter was great; good flow without interrupting our conversations and really knew the menu and the wine list. All in all, a memorable meal!"

  • "Food was good but the waiter was horrible. He lacked personality and seemed like he really didn't want to be there."

  • "When we walked in I wasn't sure what to expect as the hostess was slow and not very friendly. However, once we were seated on the patio, the servers were friendly and attentive and made great recommendations. The food and desserts were as wonderful to look at as eat! I'll definitely come back and would recommend The Pink Door. Thank you for a great meal!"

  • "Food has been much better, but the location and view are worth something. The berry dessert was to die for! We had a reservation. That was great but very hard to get."

  • "We had the best server, Elyse, and she really made the evening! The food was good, the view was good, but the service is what really made this place shine."

  • "Food was amazing! I had the salmon she had the scallops, both were so perfectly done. A little cold and noisy out on the patio but nice views of the sound and an overall fantastic experience! Wish the front desk would have mentioned the aerial artist indoors and we may have adjusted our seating preference to see it. Totally worth going to this place!"

  • "My wife & I dined at the Pink door in mid July and had an exceptional dinner. We were seated out on the deck which we had requested thru our open table reservation. From the unmarked industrial looking dusty pink door in the alleyway to the final dessert this was just one great dining experience. We ordered a crimini mushroom, barata and squash blossum flatbread, a new york strip steak, linguini and clams and closed with a nectarine crostini with vanilla gelato. This is not a steak house and yet this was the tenderest and best seasoned strip steak we may have ever tasted. The view was brilliant looking out onto Puget Sound at sunset. Nice experience all the way around."

  • "Great patio seating with a nice view. Service was spot on and the food and wine were above expectations. A nice spot above the hustle and bustle og Pikes Market below."

  • "We have been coming to the Pink Door for years and think it is such an iconic Seattle spot that we had our wedding rehearsal dinner there (Yes, sorry. We are one of those groups that shut the place down for a private party:(). As always, we were very pleased with our recent lunch with out of town friends (one of whom was raised in Italy). Just love the ambiance, food and service."

  • "There was five to my party. Our table was not ready when we arrived and had to wait around 15 minutes. No drinks were offered to us for the wait. I had the meatballs and they were dry. The other dishes were ok. Desert was good. However, the ambiance was very good with different artists every night."

  • "Food didn't disappoint - was as good as some Italian I had in Italy! Wait staff was fantastic all around. Restaurant was really flexible to work with as we had a big group and wanted to handle the bill discreetly. Will definitely come back and recommend TPD in the future!"

  • "Even though my dining partner was 45 min late, the staff was friendly and attentive. I had a wickedly dirty martini and some antipasto, and they brought me the gluten free bread and extra fresh mozz I asked for. I tried the chilled rose they had on special and I am wishing I had several bottles at home. All in all a lovely time."

  • "We had a lunch date at the Pink Door to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. We enjoyed a lovely spot in a quiet part of the outdoor dining area, despite there being a fairly large crowd the day we visited. The food was top notch, as usual. Excellent service, terrific food, and reasonable prices. Try a fresh peach crostata to finish your meal--DELICIOUS! You can't beat the view or the ambience. We'll be back!"

  • "Our reservation was made for the wrong time on open table and when I received a confirmation email I called the restaurant and te manager politely informed me that the deck was booked but they would find some space for myself and my date. They did! And it was a lovely corner table w an unobstructed view if the sound. Our server was friendly, unobtrusive, made lovely suggestions (the heirloom tomatoe bruschetta was amazing) and kept the drinks coming. All in all a 4.8 out of 5 star experience."

  • "We went to the Pink Door for dinner and got a great spot on the patio. The service was good and the food was outstanding, as were the cocktails. For food, we got a nice assortment of the prosciutto, mussels, risotto, and lamb. Super delicious and we can't wait to go back!"

  • "Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and really enhanced our dining experience. She was super knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations for appetizers and desserts. The cheese plate was spectacular - highly recommend. And the Nectarine dessert was simply out of this world! The entree's though... well, disappointing. There were 5 of us, and none of us loved what we ordered. I got the scallops and they were not good... too much sauce on the plate, hard green beans with cold, gross white sauce on top, and a very bland potato type thing. Also, and this may sound petty, our table cloth was ugly... We ate on the patio, and if I were to go back, I'd sit inside and hopefully get the same great waitress."

  • "Came in for early dinner prior to a show. Servers were attentive and knowledgeable. Food was good, but it wasn't great. It's just not one of the restaurants that I would personally rush back to visit."

  • "Outdoor rooftop dining is great, weather permitting. Wait-staff are attentive and personable. Food is excellent. Seasonal cocktails, not so good. I would stick with ordering your regular call drinks that aren't so creative."

  • "You walk out on to the deck and the view right away is amazing! Then comes the great wine list, appetizers, dinner, and dessert! Overall amazing time, all aspects."

  • "This place just isn't worth the price and we are used to spending significant money on dinner. It's just ok. the Risotto was good but advertised as having crab. there was one bite of crab in the dish. The salmon was overcooked and we didn't sent it back because on the advice of the waiter we ordered it medium rather than medium rare...he basically said it would be bloody if we ordered it medium rare. The almond chicken was also overcooked and a bit dry and even a litte burned. The wine just wasn't good...an $89 bottle of Amarone that wasn't even close to worth the price. It was wine, but just not a good choice for the menu and seemed really overpriced for the taste. The waiter seemed nervous and not really knowledgeable."

  • "The highly recommended lasagna was fantastic. Did not disappoint at all. However, the bologenese was just okay. Standard at any other Italian restaurant. Not bad, but nowhere near the level of the lasagna. The waiter at times disappeared or seemed annoyed."

  • "My mom was recently visiting and I took her to the Pink Door for lunch. We had a lovely table outside with a view and a delicious meal. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I had not been to the Pink Door in years and was reminded what a great Seattle establishment this is and will definitely be coming back this summer."

  • "What is that about? At least three varieties of Chardonnay are offered by the bottle but not by the glass. Also was certain my reservation was for outdoor dining and did not get seated outside until dessert. Kinda disappointed in the experience."

  • "The evening got off to a rocky start when one of the water glasses arrived at the table with food crusted on the side. I ordered the Calamari app., but I am not sure what I got. It was long pieces of some seafood (the size of slender hand cut fries) with spinach in a Marinara. It was OK, but definitely not like any Calamari I have ever had. Entrees ranged from pretty good (my Pappardelle al Ragu Bolonese (well cooked and with a nice flavor) to Rigatoni and Mama's Meatballs (chewy -definitely not al Dente - pasta with weird tasting meatballs). It was like the episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where Marie gives Debra the wrong spices to make her signature meatballs. These were what Debra must have produced. We skipped dessert."

  • "To start at the beginning, the reservations were very easy and I was given a chance to pick where I wanted to sit. This is the perfect place to go for a nice date. The food was delicious, the waitstaff was helpful and attentive, the atmosphere was very romantic, and the menu was slightly erotic. The novelty of a trapeze performance (only on Sundays) easily set the date apart. The pricing is very good compared to other resteraunts of similar nature, not to mention the location in pikes place allows for plenty of fun after dinner activities."

  • "Unique dining experience . Great food, even better service. Great place for a date or small group of people. Friendly hardworking staff. Great location. I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation. If your a local and you haven't been here yet then give it a try its very nice despite being located in tourist central just above the first Starbucks and Pike Place Market. I won't say anything about the entertainment, except its great and you should experience it for yourself. Enjoy!"

  • "I chanced upon this restaurant years ago (mostly because it has no sign so got me curious) but only got to eat here last year and again this past weekend. It was my guy's birthday so I thought he would enjoy eating here at The Pink Door. The service was impeccable and they got us a corner table on the patio overlooking the Sound. Even though the atmosphere was convivial, it was quite romantic for the two of us and the food was delicious, as usual! Get the antipasto plate!"

  • "I love everything about this restaurant. The environment was wonderful, the waitress was friendly and helpful and the food was outstanding...and you have to have dessert there...so yummy for my tummy. We went back for lunch a few days later and it was still outstanding. will come back again and again and again. Highly recommended ."
