My brother and I had a great dinner here in October, and then my friend is visiting this week from the Bay Area, and we had another delicious dinner and fun acrobat entertainment in the midst of dinner. A great place to take visitors to or for local friends as well to enjoy! So glad I found this gem!

Came back here for a 3rd time. Got the best table in the corner and our server was great. Made good recommendations and took the time to give us attention yet still be discreet. Food was terrific with the prosciutto and the roasted garlic. Gnocchi with pumpkin was delicious but personally we felt could have done without the hazelnuts. The rabbit ragu was sensational. Best dish of the knight. Server bottled our wine to take home and enjoy. Overall a great experience. We'll be back for sure.

We arrived early for our reservation so went to the bar to have a cocktail and appetizer. We really enjoyed the calamari as it was tender and lightly breaded. Our server for dinner was very attentive and engaging and made spot on recommendations for our meals and wine. We will go back to experience more selections from their menu. The only negative was the large group we were seated next too as they were very noisy, but I assume that was an anomaly.

We were directed to the Pink Door by many friends and the concierge at our hotel "The Inn at the Market." After making an online reservation, we walked down the alley to a pink door. No sign here…thank goodness we were told about the restaurants location or we might have missed it. we arrived to find a completely charming restaurant. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and the host/hostess were quite friendly. After siting down at a table in the lounge, and talking with the very friendly waitress, we ordered the pumpkin gnocchi and the cioppino. Fantastic is not a strong enough adjective to describe how wonderful our meal was. From the bread, to the very strong drinks, to the delicious main courses, to the amazing entertainment we were extremely impressed. Needless to say, we will definitely be returning upon our next visit to Seattle!

Enjoyed the venue, place was vibrant and fun. Service was excellent. We had a pleasant evening celebrating my husband's birthday. We ordered one of the specials, Pescatore, which was very good. The Caesar salad with Prawns was good but nothing special. Unfortunately, the Double R New York steak was fatty and tough. Then we ordered dessert. The Trio del' Autunno was very tasty and a great dessert to share. We also ordered two Tiramisu's which were large servings but both soggy and gritty at the same time. Each diner had a couple of bites and didn't want to eat any more or take it home. When I said something to the server she said, "We are known for our Tiramisu because it's so moist". I guess some people's moist is other people's soggy.

We arrived at 6:45, we were gone by 7:45. We ordered a very nice bottle of wine, appetizer and mains. We indicated to the waiter to spread it out and that we were not in a rush. We received our mains before our appetizer and I'm not kidding you we had our meals on our table no more than 10 minutes after we ordered. We were finished our meals before the wine. We had intended on staying quite a while but decided to go somewhere else for a night cap. Very disappointed.

My server was outstanding, very knowledgeable and accommodating and occasionally laughed at my bad sense of humor. The 'ring' show was an unexpected delight. But the food was not as great as i'd hoped, perhaps a little overpriced for the size of the dish.

The dinners have been great and this time we came for Seattle Rest. week for lunch. It was excellent. The waiter was always filling up water glasses and checking to see if we needed bread and how the food was. I liked the sangrias too. What's funny is that the pink door, with no indication of what's inside, is getting worn and no longer pink, and the clientel keeps coming. Goes to show you how good this place is just by word of mouth. We recommend it.

We had a great meal at the Pink Door. Our meal, though, was wonderful. We shared a salad and calamari appetizer followed by Cioppino for me and lasagna for my husband. Both were excellently spiced. The service as outstanding. Our water glasses never got past half full, we were offered extra bread so that I could enjoy the last drop of my Cioppino.

We went to the Pink Door for a romantic dinner for a special occasion. It was difficult to find as there was no signage, and a garbage truck in the alley, making us nearly miss it. Once inside, it was an eclectic whimsical environment and very lively. I had heard there was going to be a trapeze artist performing at 8:45. Our reservation was at 9:00 and was disappointed to learn that her performance was at 8:45 for 4 minutes and it was the last performance of the night. In any event, the dinner was pricey but was excellent. I would definitely return for a special occasion.

It's a shame that restaurants can't lessen the amount of salt they use in their dishes. My husband and I both had the linguine with clams which had prosciutto. There was too much of it hence the saltiness. A. little goes a long way and a dish that is salty becomes overwhelming and loses any subtlety. Our server was cheery and aimed to please.

We were lucky to reserve for a Monday night while my brother was visiting Seattle, since the trapeze artist only does shows on Sunday and Monday. Service was great and both of us really liked our fish dishes; mine had a delicious sauce. My boyfriend and I were visiting Seattle for the weekend. And among all the food recommendations, if we are ever back in the Seattle area, this would be the one place we would DEFINITELY come back to (for the lasagna!!!). The lasagna may be the absolute best we've ever had - delicious homemade noodles and the pesto inside was so good. The pappardelle bolognese was good, too; however, it was served room temperature... The service was only okay. Not the friendliest. BUT, the food was so good, how could you not return!?

The staff was very accommodating from the get-go. I was visiting from Dallas and didn't know how to get a table for the performance that night. I requested a table near the performance area, and not only did they fill that request, but the table was right in front of the stage! My friend and I were thrilled! Our waiter was friendly and kind. Our food was out promptly, and it was SO delicious! The Lasagna Pink Door is one of my favorite lasagnas I have ever had. The performance that night, Sundae and Mr. Goessl, was amazing. I love their arrangements of old Jazz favorites. Sundae even interacted with the audience quite a bit, which was fun and charming. My friend and I had an amazing time at The Pink Door. We will definitely be back again!

Unusual atmosphere, tables were very squished together and the waiters hardly had space to walk and serve. Another reason it seemed too noisy, you could hear everyone talking loud around you. The Caesar Salad and the wild mushrooms on polenta appetizer were very delicious, but the risotto with crab was just o.k. and the Linquine with clams was soooo salty I returned it twice and ended up not eating anything else for dinner. Good for a first experience, but one time was enough.
