We had a great meal at the Pink Door. Our meal, though, was wonderful. We shared a salad and calamari appetizer followed by Cioppino for me and lasagna for my husband. Both were excellently spiced. The service as outstanding. Our water glasses never got past half full, we were offered extra bread so that I could enjoy the last drop of my Cioppino.

We went to the Pink Door for a romantic dinner for a special occasion. It was difficult to find as there was no signage, and a garbage truck in the alley, making us nearly miss it. Once inside, it was an eclectic whimsical environment and very lively. I had heard there was going to be a trapeze artist performing at 8:45. Our reservation was at 9:00 and was disappointed to learn that her performance was at 8:45 for 4 minutes and it was the last performance of the night. In any event, the dinner was pricey but was excellent. I would definitely return for a special occasion.

It's a shame that restaurants can't lessen the amount of salt they use in their dishes. My husband and I both had the linguine with clams which had prosciutto. There was too much of it hence the saltiness. A. little goes a long way and a dish that is salty becomes overwhelming and loses any subtlety. Our server was cheery and aimed to please.

We were lucky to reserve for a Monday night while my brother was visiting Seattle, since the trapeze artist only does shows on Sunday and Monday. Service was great and both of us really liked our fish dishes; mine had a delicious sauce. The trapeze shows were an added bonus, with a lovely and graceful woman performing for just the right amount of time. The clientele was also enjoyable. A perfect evening!

We go whenever there is restaurant week menu. Comfy, cozy and did I say the food was delicious? This time, restaurant week lunches did NOT include dessert (a change from previous years when dessert WAS included), but the server kindly brought us two complimentary cookies in lieu of. Very nice touch.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Seattle for the weekend. And among all the food recommendations, if we are ever back in the Seattle area, this would be the one place we would DEFINITELY come back to (for the lasagna!!!). The lasagna may be the absolute best we've ever had - delicious homemade noodles and the pesto inside was so good. The pappardelle bolognese was good, too; however, it was served room temperature... The service was only okay. Not the friendliest. BUT, the food was so good, how could you not return!?

The staff was very accommodating from the get-go. I was visiting from Dallas and didn't know how to get a table for the performance that night. I requested a table near the performance area, and not only did they fill that request, but the table was right in front of the stage! My friend and I were thrilled! Our waiter was friendly and kind. Our food was out promptly, and it was SO delicious! The Lasagna Pink Door is one of my favorite lasagnas I have ever had. The performance that night, Sundae and Mr. Goessl, was amazing. I love their arrangements of old Jazz favorites. Sundae even interacted with the audience quite a bit, which was fun and charming. My friend and I had an amazing time at The Pink Door. We will definitely be back again!

Unusual atmosphere, tables were very squished together and the waiters hardly had space to walk and serve. Another reason it seemed too noisy, you could hear everyone talking loud around you. The Caesar Salad and the wild mushrooms on polenta appetizer were very delicious, but the risotto with crab was just o.k. and the Linquine with clams was soooo salty I returned it twice and ended up not eating anything else for dinner. Good for a first experience, but one time was enough.

Who would've thought that little Pink Door in an alley would hold such delicious food? I had quite possibly the best lasanga I've ever tasted in my life, and I'm Italian, so that's saying a lot. I don't think I left a spot of sauce on the plate.

We felt like we had been let in on a little secret. Finding the restaurant in itself is fun. Simply a pink door in the alley, no sign, no address. Once you go in you are immersed in a unique dining experience. We were lucky to be there the night of the trapeze artist as well - performing inches over our heads. All this, and my pumpkin gnocchi was fantastic as was the signature dessert.

After reading so many good reviews of this place I went to try it. I have no idea why people rave about this place. The most important thing, the food, was nothing special. The coppio broth tasted like spicy water. The risotto tasted like four cheese rice a roni with ragu in it, and barely had any crab mixed in. The ambiance is cool if you get the right table. They tried to squeeze us in a table practically in the center of the room where you are constantly getting hit by all the people coming through. Then you go outside to sit on some dinky metal chairs that hurt after about 20 mins. I'm a foodie, I love great food, but there are far better dining places in Seattle including ones focused on Italian cuisine.

I come here almost every time I'm in Seattle and I have never been disappointed. The caprese (summer only) salad is divine, the antipasto plate is humongous and delicious, the beet salad is perfectly balanced. They do great with meats and their pasta is homemade and delicious. The potato gnocchi are amazing (semolina gnocchi are nothing to write hime about). And the desserts are also wonderful. They even have gluten free pasta for my wheat-sensitive daughter! And they only serve good wine, and the specialty cocktails are pretty much always winners.

Enjoyed the great sunset on the deck for the 5 of us. We were seated immediately as they had our table waiting. Great service. While the scallops when excellent, the salmon special was good - outstandingly cooked med rare however the salmon tasted bland....it needed more spices like smoked paprika, parsley, crushed pistachios all in melted garlic butter and glazed over the salmon as it cooks. Umm sounds better already - give it a taste test Mr/Ms Chef! The desserts where excellent - summer crisp and burlesque pie!

This place was highly recommended by users of Yelp. Because of that, I could not get booked on a Saturday night dinner, so I opted for lunch. The place had a nice view of the lake/sea, had a gypsie-ish vibe to it, food was very generously proportioned and great to top it all off, the service was fantastic! The only drawback I can think of is the location can be very tricky to find and traffic is horrible around the area. But that is kind of expected as it was right next to Pike Place Market. It was all worth it though!

LOVED THIS PLACE!!! We almost didn't find it as it is located in the Post Alley of Pike Place Market and if you miss the door, you may miss the spot. It's more of a coral/peachy color and definitely not pink. BUT WHO CARES?! Food was delicious. If you can - get a table on the deck/patio as it over looks the water. We started off w/the cheese board and it was a nice starter as they give you 4 different cheese, 4 different spreads/nuts/etc to try. Make sure you order extra bread!! I had the crab risotto. It was delicious and they are not cheap w/the crab. Risotto was very creamy and cooked perfectly.
