I have been to many places and this place is a hidden gem among the casino slots on the second floor.
Was able to reserve a table quickly and upon arrival was greeting in the most friendly manner.
The little things go a long way at a nice restaurant.
Not a single snob in the house.
Waitress and staff were the best.
The food was excellent and the price is the best around for an excellent steak.
And no sales tax!
Go there today, tomorrow, or your next chance.

Food was reasonably priced, well presented and delicious. The decor and service was great as well. Both the prime rib and filet mignon were both prepared as requested and very tender.The pre-fixe Cinco de Mayo special was a great deal. Great atmosphere to start, and had a great server named rebbeca! Had great help from all the employees at the pines!! My experience just kept on getting better. Food was mouth watering and delicious. Had tickets to see a show at the casino also , but time was getting close for show to start. Still had dessert coming and was worried about being cutting it to close and being able to enjoy our dessert. So our great server rebbeca made arangements for us to come back after the show to enjoy our desserts. Wow talk about great service overall. Only complaint was the bar service was very very slow. Even getting our first drink order served was long. Subsequent orders almost didn't get there until we were done with the meal. Don't know if the delay was the wait staff or the bartender. They should try to attract clientele outside of casino players or move location closer to high rollers or high limits or have an outside entrance bypassing the casino for clientelle not there for gambling. No real flaws, but nothing that is amazing or unique. The service was good, the atmosphere nice, and the food quality generally excellent. I particularly am impressed with the crab cakes appetizer, as well as the flavor and tenderness of the filet mignon. You cannot go wrong having an intimate dinner or a small group occasion at The Pines. If I were to point out one thing that could use improvement, it would be menu variety. I had the french onion soup for my first course, so yummy. I decided on try the Salmon Vera Cruz for my main course, the fish was tasty and cooked to perfection. The third and final course I chose Peanut Butter Pie, my husband chose the Cheesecake, both were excellent.
