Located at the old Coach & Horses on Sunset Blvd. We like to do the weekend brunch on the bar side. It's like going back in time, and the food is always good.

I used a living social deal at this restaurant and it was better than expected. Our waiter was so nice! She really went out of her way to help my friend find something that was suitable for her very restricted diet, which we all know can be a hassle at times. The food was delicious, nicely presented and great variety without being too overwhelming. The crumpets are delicious and the maple butter they put on the pancakes and serve with the biscuits is nicely balanced with a hint of sweetness. This place is great if you are looking for a brunch different from the classic American style as the Pikey is heavily influenced by British cuisine.

The Pikey has ambiance of England but with amazing food and drinks! Best Bloody Mary I ever had! We went with another couple. Each of us ordered something different and every dish was delicious. There is even a back room we discovered which would be a great place for a party! Definitely worth checking out! The service was awesome too! This is one of the few places that actually seats you around the time of your reservation! The menu has dependable items but also adds new twists. As an added motivator, the chef is conscientious about organic, sustainable fresh ingredients, and is very accommodating.

    Dined on 7/13/2014
Group of 8 of us went for their Sunday Roast. Delicious all around. Waitress attentive and very friendly and a great fun buzz on a Sunday eve. The roast took a little extra time so they brought us a plate of extra Yorkshire Puddings (a favourite of mine) for the trouble which was a nice gesture. I've been here for brunch, a regular dinner and on several occasions now a Sunday Roast. It's casual and fun and friendly for all and the food has never disappointed - especially the Roast! And having grown up in England with a Roast every Sunday, theirs is one of the best.

Came here with some co-workers. Took 20 mins for our beers to arrive. and 20 more mins for the next round. Had to ask for everything a few times... fish & chips were good. I'd go there and sit at the bar. Not going there to eat again.

It's the pikey- what do you think? Well- it's telling me I need to put at least 50 characters in order to submit this. So here goes nothing. I Drive for Uber from time to time, people often ask me what the best place in town is. The Pikey is such a gem to me that I am often hesitant to share but always end up telling them about the place. Why? Because the food is phenonminal and the burger is the best thing I've ever tasted- bar none. Thank you for always fulfilling my cravings and making dining such a pleasurable experience. Thank you!

  • This Could be Someone's Fave Bar

Food was good, though it took a long time to come out. Granted we had a large party which could have been the issue... Cocktails were pretty good (I sent back a seasonal choice and went with a classic instead and was thrilled with the replacement!) and the beer and wine list was impressive enough. Great vibe, the staff was super friendly and added to the positive experience. If our server would have been less fabulous it would have changed my experience to a not-so-good one. Based on location I could totally see this being someone's local spot, lots of bar space, but also due to location it had a slight tourist vibe. I'm curious how it'll fare after the old time thing fades out...mustaches and suspenders will only be on trend for so long.

Food was absolutely delicious. We had the special that day the Prime Roast i think it was but it was AMAZING!!! The drinks were delish as well. My ONLY complaint is that it took a good while to get our food but that was fine after we tasted how delicious the food was... Probably needed the extra time :) Great find and in MY NEIGHBORHOOD! Looking forward to bring my roommates and partner here :)

Sorry, I know I'm the exception with all the other great reviews, but in my opinion the food is overpriced for what you get. Maybe serve 2 pieces of fish with the fish and chips entree if you're going to charge $16. And the $14 specialty drink would be nice if there was more than 4 sips.

Excellent choices on the menu, a little goes a long way really, staff was nice and friendly (one of the servers brought me my sunglasses that I forgot at the table), the decor on the bar side was a tribute to European football galore (great for anyone who follows soccer), went there for brunch and walked out completely satisfied. Had the French toast with berries and le fraiche cream and mouthwatering biscuits with maple butter. They also provided a complimentary mimosa (I guess for Mother's Day, which is the day I went with my Aunt). She loved it!

The food eas top notch, better than expected. Duck leg and vinegarchicken were excellent. Next time we will splurge for fish and chips, a true pub test and dessert. Will certainly return.

Our server did a great job of getting a large and distracted group of people through dinner and drinks in a short amount of time as we were late and going on to the theater. The squid, burrata, and oysters were all delicious. The fish and chips, recommended to be served quickly, were tasty and buttery. The drinks menu was interesting as well. I expect we'll be back!

Nobody wants to be seated in the back room opposite the kitchen doors. I thought I may have gotten a decent table in the from room having booked online but maybe one has to book days in advance or they give the front room tables to walk ins I don't know. The noise level was horrendous ... not the fault of the restaurant because it was the other diners who where exceptionally loude. I think in a place like this it's good idea to get seated in a booth as there is some noise insulation from other diners.

Treated my friend here to brunch using the Livingsocial deal I had bought. Got a crumpet (delicious and flaky especially with the honey comb, yum!) The biscuit with the honey whipped butter was also delicious. Had the burger and fries for the entree and my friend had the fish and chips. Both also very good. Love the fries, thick cut, perfectly seasoned. Service was friendly although it took 3 times for them to bring my friend his soda. Otherwise, no problems. Would love to come back and try their other breakfast items and of course, more crumpets.
