  • "My friend and I went for the Sunday Brunch and it's a good thing we had a reservation, this new restaurant is really getting popular! They had authentic offerings like Egg in the Hole, Curry on Toast and Full English Breakfast. They also have fantastic Fish & Chips and a great Char Broiled Burger. Everything was tasty and the service was great!"

  • "We wandered in here having vaguely heard of it but with no other info. We were wowed at the kindness of all the staff and authentic pub ambiance with fun decor. The food eas top notch, better than expected. Duck leg and vinegarchicken were excellent. Next time we will splurge for fish and chips, a true pub test and dessert. Will certainly return."

  • "I love this place...it's not fast for brunch, but it's fabulous. love the service, love the chef, love the crumpets with cream and honey. Love the pork belly sandwich with those little cornichons, ravioli, the cute chef...aye and I finally came on a Saturday night. Love the bartenders and ambiance. great drinks and yes tell them the ingredients and they can shake it up for you... don't be in a hurry relax and enjoy brunch, you'll get it and come again and again!"

  • "Our server did a great job of getting a large and distracted group of people through dinner and drinks in a short amount of time as we were late and going on to the theater. The squid, burrata, and oysters were all delicious. The fish and chips, recommended to be served quickly, were tasty and buttery. The drinks menu was interesting as well. I expect we'll be back!"

  • "Nobody wants to be seated in the back room opposite the kitchen doors. I thought I may have gotten a decent table in the from room having booked online but maybe one has to book days in advance or they give the front room tables to walk ins I don't know. The noise level was horrendous ... not the fault of the restaurant because it was the other diners who where exceptionally loude. I think in a place like this it's good idea to get seated in a booth as there is some noise insulation from other diners."

  • "Treated my friend here to brunch using the Livingsocial deal I had bought. Got a crumpet (delicious and flaky especially with the honey comb, yum!) The biscuit with the honey whipped butter was also delicious. Had the burger and fries for the entree and my friend had the fish and chips. Both also very good. Love the fries, thick cut, perfectly seasoned. Service was friendly although it took 3 times for them to bring my friend his soda. Otherwise, no problems. Would love to come back and try their other breakfast items and of course, more crumpets."

  • "Typically I'd give the Pikey 4 stars for food, however, they recently changed the preparation on the trout, which is my favorite dish. I hope they revert back to their previous preparation, without the creme fraiche. Otherwise, I'll have to find another dish to enjoy there."

  • "Found this place on yelp when at a buddies place. Food was REALLY good, they called it "New British." Our server was so pleasant, slightly uncommon for LA, and it had a cool vibe to it. I can't wait to come back here and try more things. Great for a low key date or dinner with friends. Bar also looked cool, we didn't stay after dinner though."

  • "Christmas Day reservation ready on arrival. Booth waiting. love the copper table tops, dark wood, & open kitchen. Attentive, friendly, helpful service. Festive, lively atmosphere. Cozy & charming. Fabulous bar. Reasonably priced. Small menu, but unique & delicious. Vinegar chicken addictive. On an 85 degree day, once you step inside, your British accent will emerge. Can't wait to return."

They were out of most food items I mentioned several times it was my birthday and it was noted in this open table reservation they did nothing to acknowledge it. I will not be returning here."

  • "Came for Sunday brunch. My group had smoked salmon, full English breakfast, pumpkin ricotta pancakes and french toast. The pumpkin ricotta pancakes were the hit of the day--just wonderful. Light and fluffy, nice flavor, the corn base was surprisingly great. Topped with macadamia nuts (?) and whipped cream--just delicious! My friend's smoked salmon also was a hit with her. The bloody mary's were a little spicy for me but were fine after adding a little more tomato juice (that is just me though). Multiple rooms with multiple personalities and we all agreed we'd like to go back to try those out as well."
