I didn't really think a smokehouse would offer many choices for me since I don't eat animal protein. The starters and sides menus offered several unique and tasty options. The smoked sweet potatoes are a must try. The beets were delicious. I also make a slight exception and tried a few oysters. All wonderful. Service was great as well.

Concept are location are great, however the food and the service falls short. At first glance the menu you can get really excited about mixing seafood and BBQ, however the food is very bland and doesn't excite you as you eat it. My wife and I ordered a pork shoulder and a brisket open face sandwich, and neither piece of meat had the warmth or taste of being pulled off a grill. Same went for deserts too. Great concepts, poor execution. As for service, although our waiter was very friendly and courteous, it took over an hour from when we ordered our food to even seeing our first course, 20 minutes to even get a drink. I think that if the restaurant was more concerned with timely service and taste this place would be amazing.

A last minute change of plans fortunately brought us here! I had read positive reviews about P&P & decided to try it, even though we had recently eaten BBQ. SO glad we did! The oysters were so fresh, the buffalo pork skins were awesome & a huge portion, & the brisket was the best I've ever tasted. So flavorful, tender and juicy! Our server Lauren was wonderful. P&P is a fabulous addition to AS!

Party of 4 ordered different entrees and different sides. No one liked the taste or spices or whatever. The only side we enjoyed was the mac n cheese. Not one of us felt the meal was worth the cost. Especially with all the options locally. Waiter would disappear for too long without any follow-up.

I was excited to try this place- neighbors had recommended it. So I booked a reservation for 2 on Saturday night after a long movie at Atlantic Station (reservation was for 10pm.) We arrived a little after 10p, to a less-than-crowded house. Likely 10 tables total were seated. There were about 7-8 servers for those tables. It took approximately 20 minutes for anyone to take our drink order, and then another 20 minutes for those drinks to be served. Then, to make matters worse, my wine was poured at the table, with cork in it, and it was about 3/4 of a full pour for a $13.50 glass of wine. It was so JV. We had planned on eating dinner there, but after those experiences, we decided that McDonald's would be better. And it was.

Our group of 8 adults had a very enjoyable dinner here before attending a show at Atlantic Station. I understand the restaurant has been open for only 2-3 months, but the only sign of that was in the somewhat confused service when it came to serving the meal. Our primary waiter, Daniel, was very pleasant, and he was helpful and informative when making food and beverage choices. With such a large group, we ended up selecting several things on the menu. The endive salad and the trout entrée were standouts, and the brisket received high marks. It wasn't a meal we're still talking about, but the place is new, and we wouldn't have any apprehension about giving it another try.

The name and the concept eludes to something better. The place has a casual trendy vibe. Sadly the best part was the wine I had. It was 4 of us (guys) and all would agree with this short write up. Food and choices are ok. The service was slow (not busy) but very friendly. Even the manager checked in. No complaints, just nothing to write home about.

Decided to finally try The Pig and The Pearl and we were not disappointed....Brian was our server and able to give us some recommendations. We started with the yellowtail tuna cold appetizer and the wings for our hot appetizer. Both were delicious in their own right, the wings are the best I've had in years. I had a Red Headed Stepchild cocktail (gin, strawberry, basil, ginger) which was fantastic. For our entrees we ordered the pork and the brisket sandwiches. For something so simple to be so perfect is truly a beautiful thing. We finished off our meal with a couple glasses of the Poema Brut Rosado Cava as well as the Campfire Treat dessert.... Not able to finish the dessert--so much chocolate!! Five stars all day long, will def be back!

Suggested this new restaurant on the continuous search of good bbq with a good ambiance. This hit the spot! Deviled eggs with eggplant compote - amazing! The ribs were huge and full of delicious flavor. Mac n cheese was amazing and a meal in itself. Would have given five stars but couldn't due to poor service (server appeared half asleep and unenthusiastic) for just serving raw oysters but nothing else to emphasize the "Pearl".

I was disappointed by this restaurant. If you want BBQ do not go here. The only thing that makes the place a BBQ restaurant is that they have BBQ sauce on the table. My turkey was dry and my fiancée's brisket was fatty. Probably won't be going back here.

We were excited to try the new restaurant at Atlantic Station & were extremely disappointed. The service was just OK & the food wasn't great. We tried several small items so maybe we should have tried an entree. The short ribs you could barely chew they were so over cooked, the pimento cheese balls (can't think what they called them) were very rich & heavy, the crust on the outisde of them could have been thicker. We also had the deviled eggs (there were 3....weird # to have & the presentation was not appealing) the mac & cheese and the vinegar coleslaw (best thing we ate). We might give it a try after they've been open for awhile.

You have to try this place. I love BBQ - I've lived in Memphis, KC, Austin, and Atlanta ... So I've had my fair share of good BBQ. I was not only pleasantly surprised with my meal at Pig & Pearl, but borderline blown away. The Brisket was outstanding, and really loved the compliment of sauces. Check it out. I can't wait to back.

It is rare that I rate a place with "Outstanding" service but The Pig and The Pearl staff really stood out from my normal eating out experiences. There were well staffed and everyone repeated checked in on us - not just our server. My husband requested steamed instead of raw oyster - they grilled the oysters for us and they were delicious! Fun and tasty food; fancy BBQ but a relaxed atmosphere.

My wife and I dined at Pig & Pearl this past Friday and were very disappointed. After taking our drink order my wife asked for a gluten free menu, which apparently does not exist. We told our server my wife has a gluten allergy and asked for which menu items were gluten free. She responded that everything could be made gluten free, which is unlikely. We ordered the heirloom tomatoes as an appetizer. The tomatoes were not ripe and lacked flavor. I had the pork shoulder which was equally as bland, lacking in smoky flavor and covered with a crumble and mustard sauce which did not work together - terrible dish. My wife's brisket was okay, not spectacular. Our sides, the sweet potatoes and mustard greens were decent.

We love The Shed so we were looking forward to trying The Pig and The Pearl. We were not disappointed. Starting with one of the best Moscow Mules I have had in Atlanta, the meal continued to be great. I had the BEST brunswick stew I have ever had (and I am a big fan of brunswick stew). The creamed corn was a fabulous side. My husband got the brisket sandwich. It was not lean enough for him but it had a great flavor. We finished by sharing an adult version of a s'more. Excellent! We will be back.

We had a really great meal. the atmosphere and ambience is fresh and exciting but not overly done. While we didn't try the oysters (I will on my next visit) everything we had was really delicious. There were 3 of us and so many things on the appetizer list were so appealing that we virtually at all appetizers. Our favorites were the buffalo pork skins, pimento cheese croquettes, lobster salad and deviled eggs. Will definitely be back to sample more of the meat. Great wine list, passionate owner (who stopped by our table) and friendly staff. The place will be a hit/
