"The gem of Cape May, and certainly not your parent's "vintage" Cape May eating establishment.

The kitchen serves up a selection of fresh ingredients skillfully prepared and artfully presented. And then the wait staff hits the home run with professional, genuinely friendly service.

Get it all, but we loved the watermelon/feta salad, the whole fish, the lamb, and the lobster."

"A pleasant restaurant with wonderful food and good, friendly service. Drinks from the bar are very good. The wine list long, good and reasonable. Both food and prices are a bit better then most of the other better restaurants in Cape May.
Large windows give good views of the the beachfront.
A bit noisy. It always surprises me that so few restaurants use accoustic tile ceilings to dampen the noise from conversations.
We have now had family dinners there for New Years and Easter and will be back occasionally."

"We have dined many times at The Pier House and we are never disappointed. Our latest dinner was no exception. We brought another couple this time and they loved it as well. Highly recommended in all categories--drinks, apps, salads, entrees. We were all too full for dessert."

"This was our first time here although I have no idea why!!! I have been coming to Cape May for a very long time and I should have come to the restaurant a long time ago!! We will definitely be back! From the moment we walked in the door the Hostess was extremely welcoming, our table was ready and our waitress was phenomenal!! The only negative (and I hate to even mention it) was that the appetizer plates were not removed from the table and I like a clean table! Trivial, I know but that's what a review is about...otherwise we will be back again and again!!"

"Nice appearance, friendly & professional wait staff with broad menu and superbly prepared. Have spent many summers here and avoided this restaurant thought was below standard of others in town. In fact I feel it's better than most of the big name restaurants."

"We have a house in north cape may. This is our favorte place to eat in Cape May. The tuna on the menu is my wife's favorite meal. We actually prefer to sit in the bar area to eat -more energy, more cozy than the main dining area."

"This was another one of our off-season visits. Of course, everything was just about perfect. Carlo was our server and we sat in the bar at our request. Even though the menu hasn't changed in a while, we keep coming back because the food and service are fantastic. I can never get enough of the Cape May Salts!"
