The Pewter MugA Happy Mother's DayWe made a reservation for Mother's Day and when we arrived, we were seated immediately. Drinks ordered and came right away. We were thrilled with the soup and salad bar....best we have had. Salads were very fresh and soups hot and tasty. We all ordered the 8 0z Prime Rib. It was very tender and came as ordered. The Pewter Mug was the favorite restaurant of our parents years ago and will now be a favorite of ours. I can't believe the staff did such an excellent job under huge pressure. There were at least 30 people waiting and every table filled and the staff serviced you like there were only a couple of tables.

When we arrived (at 7:30), our table was waiting for us and also our waitress, Cindy. She made us feel comfortable with a pleasant smile. She was extremely competent and took our orders at just the right time.
The salad bar was delicious, our meals were served when all were finished with the salad. Cindy was attentive but not overbearing! She is to be highly commended for her efficiency. Because of her we all enjoyed our meals. Food was delicious.
The only complaint our driver had - no place to park!! He had to circle around several times in order to find a place.
