The People’s Kitchen & Citizen Wine BarSpecialA bit pricey but if you are looking for a romantic or special occasion dinner this is the place to go! Food presentation was beautiful and service was very attentive.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMBack Again!!Once again, had a wonderful meal at the People's Kitchen -- Never disappoints us!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I both had theMy wife and I both had the three course dinners that were offered and they were outstanding.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMI work in the restaurant businessI work in the restaurant business and have heard lots of buzz about both the Citizen and TPK and was happy to get a chance to dine with you. Overall we had a really nice experience. We were happy with the uniqueness of the dishes and the portion sizes were reasonable. However, our waiter seemed a little flaky. When my dinner came out one of my scallops was terribly overcooked. When he finally got around to checking in he would let the chef know, but a manager never reached our table, and nothing was adjusted on the bill. My friend also had trouble getting a second drink, and only after asking repeatedly did it appear. Other than that we had a wonderful time, loved the environment. I'm anxious to try out the Citizen on a quieter night.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service, wonderful food!We had a great meal and the service couldn't have been better or friendlier. A really great place!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThank you! When I went to the citizen the other night, I had one of those rare dining experiences where I wanted to personally thank whoever put together my cheese platter, dinner, and dessert platter. It was perfect.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden GemOur group of 5 all agreed that these were some of the best meals we have ever had! From appetizers to dessert, each course was outstanding. The seared cod was delicious, as was the filet mignon and the salmon. For appetizers, you must try the Parmesan artichoke toast points or the mussels. The atmosphere was calm, unhurried and very relaxing! Hats off to the chef!5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGraduation Dinner WorthyWe took our graduating son there for dinner, was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The cheese plate was very nice and the steaks were done beautifully. We will go back again!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a great experience! We love The People's Kitchen. The menu always impresses, the drinks are amazing and the service is outstanding.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMa gem in downtown WorcesterTracy was our waitress and was great. We were first time visitors to your restaurant and she was great with our table of 4. She took time to explain the menu options, especially the ability to mix and match from the 2 menus. The cheese/meat offering to start off dinner was very enjoyable. Quality of food was excellent, along with the service and welcoming atmosphere.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall this was a very niceOverall this was a very nice experience. If you like large wine selectioins than this is the place for you. The food was a little salty, but very tasty. The wait staff was very attentive. There was a woman sitting by us who kept talking about her last gynecologist appointment to her friends a little louder than she should have been, but that wasn't the resturant's fault.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMI really like that they offerI really like that they offer a prix fixe menu option with great selections. They also offer some great wines.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWe always enjoy dining withWe always enjoy dining with the Niche Group. The Prixe Fix menu is tough to beat for value. On this occasion there were four of us celebrating Mothers' Day. Weather didn't cooperate so we dined indoors. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. We all had the mussel appetizer. Entrees were the sirloin steak, filet mignon, cod, & cornish game hen. Desserts were bread pudding, creme brulee, and chocolate plate.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were in Worcester for graduationWe were in Worcester for graduation and found The Peoples Kitchen through open table. The service was great. The ambiance was warm and inviting and the food was dellicious. Would go back for another special occasion.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a Surprise!I selected this spot to bring my elderly parents and family to celebrate a special occasion. My parents; who are usually not big fans of anything 'different' loved the cheese and meat board to start our meal. The pick 3- price fixed menu is a winner! Win celection was great and our server was super!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat job by all. Andrea wasGreat job by all. Andrea was our server did a great job. Kitchen messed up one salad by not putting dressing on the side but was fixed quickly. We will return.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was another very goodThis was another very good experience at People's Kitchen. We think it is a great find in the Worcester area. The food is always good and the service is excellent. I would have given the food 5 stars but the Creme Brûlée was watery and cool. Otherwise our meals were excellent and we will be back!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFree valet parking was crucialFree valet parking was crucial to this being a successful night, as street parking is very limited in the area. The host greeted us, we told him we had reservations and he stated that it looked like we had reservations in the People's Kitchen(it did not ask to specify on Open Table), but we wanted to eat at the Citizen, he said there was an open table but we had to be out by 8:15 for another group. I thought that was a little rude...but we ended up leaving by 8pm anyways. The chef's platter was great, a little more guidance from the waiter would have been helpful. The entree's were also delicious. Would love to go back for a drink and appetizer.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMIf they could just get ridIf they could just get rid of the lingering cigar smoke it would be perfect4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMLived up to expectations...Food quality and service were top shelf. My wife and I split the chefs cheese/meat board which was great. We both had the filet mignon which was buttery, fork tender and cooked perfectly as were the sides of whipped potato and sauted seasonal vegetables. I opted to add the foie gra to my filet which was a great addition. The chocoalate desserts pared with seasonal berries was very good as well. Wine list was extensive, reasonably priced and had a lot of different wines along with the ususal suspects almost as if the owners went out of their way to find good wines at resonable prices to offer thier customers. All in all a good find and I would suggest you check this place out.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat dining option in WorcesterThe menu is excellent, the space is unique, the waitstaff are attentive and we really enjoy dining here any time we visit Worcester. The charcuterie is a nice option for starters. Also, their bar does a really great job on their cocktails and they have a pretty good wine list.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was wonderful.Everything was wonderful. My three kids were accomodated nicely. Specialty cheeses and chocolates. Fantastic wine selection. WONDERFUL dinner.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
