The Peekskill BreweryOur new favorite placeA big, airy metro/industrial space with two floors--one for pubbing, one for dining. Parking is limited to a very small lot, but there is a City permit lot next to that which you can use on weekends. Not really sure where else you can park around there w/o a hike.
The centerpiece is the craft beer--all of which (we tried 6 kinds between us)-- fresh and flavorful. The food was unexpectedly delicious as well--fish & chips, bacon burger, mac & cheese--fries--all done just a tad differently & yummy. Veggies with your meal is $4 extra, and desserts (at around $8) were smallish but delicious as well.
Dinner for three w/ beer & dessert was $100+. It's noisy there (I could barely hear our waiter), so not great for an intimate twosome.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThe beers are outstandingThe beers are outstanding and the menu is interesting with good food and very good service. Went for lunch with some old friends.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMHelped make our Saturday beautifulGood, attentive, caring service; delightful cream ale; delicious poutine; and revivifying trout sandwiches helped make this experience special. I would drive ten, fifteen miles out of my way just to go here again. We drove but it is also very convenient for train from NYC,.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMLong overdue visit to PBDid not disappoint! Very good food, although could use a few more menu items for the non-foodies amoung us. Extremely attentive and professional service. We will most defintely be back.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWill go backIt was a little confusing in the lobby and no one to greet you so a patron pointed us in the right direction to get up stairs to the tap room.
Service was great, fries were outstanding. It's a large, factory setting. I strongly suggest they add some decor to dampen the noise- burlap bags hanging from the rafters would complement the brewery atmosphere (bags from hops could be used) and dampen the noise.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMBrew pub for foodiesFood was as good as the beer.. That does not happen often at brewpubs.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMUp and coming local breweryUp and coming local brewery with good food. The new building is great and looking forward to the opening of the roof top bar!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Local PubThe menu was limited - but in a good way. It had a variety of selections, but not so many, that it would take forever to review. The specials also added to the selections.
The preice for food and drinks wre reasonable - with the beer selection being as good as advertsied.
And the best part of the veneing was the excellent and courteous waitress service we received. Our waitress knew the menu "like the back of her hand", and her recommendations were spot on.
A great local resteraunt!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMAMAZING food! The beer wasAMAZING food! The beer was awesome too. Need to book a reservation in advance...we went at 9pm and there was still a wait for tables!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMHighly recommended.I thought overall the brewery was great!!!! and I will go back often. The beer has gotten better and better. Our server was great, fish & chips delicious, the trout salad looked great (didn't taste it).3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was very good. I haveFood was very good. I have had their burger multiple times and I'm never disappointed. Their lemon parm fries are also great! I wish they had a little more to choose from on the menu as it has seemed to shrink in choices since the move. The new building is beautiful has a lot more room. The beer is great, as always. I wish the prices were a tad lower so I could go more often!3/10/2013 12:00:00 AM
