A word from The Patriot Steakhouse & Tavern
The Patriot Steakhouse & Tavern is Southwest Ohio's best value for Steaks, Ribs, Fresh Seafood, Pork Chops & Tenderloin, Grilled Chicken Breasts & Deep Fried Chicken Tenders. We also offer Fresh Salads and Pasta Dishes.

Our Bar is very comfortable, and our selections are very reasonably priced. We have a wine list that can best be described as aggressive. Our theory on bottles of wine? We'd rather sell them than dust them.

We have great food in a casual dining environment. We don't get pretentious and we don't use tablecloths. We simply serve the best food for miles in any direction and we do it in a fun environment.

Our menu starts with numerous Appetizer options including Shrimp Cocktail, Crab Cakes, Potato Skins, Chili Nachos, etc.. All of our Soups are made from scratch and our Clam Chowder and Crab & Lobster Bisque are some of the best you'll ever have.

Diner Reviews
  • "Great as always. Their Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque is the best I've ever had....anywhere. Eat your heart out Boston."

  • "PS&T is a delightful tavern...not dressy and real Midwestern charm. Our server was appropriately chatty about menu items and happily answered all of our questions, as one in our group has allergy issues. Two people in our group had steak and said it was perfectly cooked and delicious. One of them has eaten in the best steak houses in the US, and gave PS&T a thumbs up. The salmon, however, was a highlight dish."

  • "After listening to Brain Williams promote the Patriot Steakhouse on 55WKRC I thought it would be worth a try. I booked a table for 7 at 6PM on a Thurs. Table was ready and seated promptly. Ambiance was confusing to say the least, Sinatra playing overhead, frozen drinks menus on table out of an 80's timewarp cafe, layout not conducive to larger families. When ordering found out they were out of a couple items due to things not being ordered by the kitchen. Once food arrives everything looked great, most things were good; however, crab cake had no taste of crab - mostly filler, and one of the Porterhouses was mostly gristle and fat. Voiced dissatisfaction with steak, took $10 off tab but manager never made the way over to discuss the issue."

  • "I had the Pork trio, Crab Cakes and the soup. Recommend all 3. Fun restaurant with great service."

  • "Only one fish entree available. Dry hamburger. Mayonnaise-heavy blue cheese dressing on wedge salad. Mediocre meal at best. Excellent waitress though"

  • "Food and service were both good. We both had the same entree so we can't speak too broadly about the menu. We ate outdoors(our choice) but were right next to the parking lot, the indoor space lacked atmosphere. We thought the prices for sandwiches and some meals were OK but the steaks were high. Have had equal or better meals in places with better atmosphere at a lesser price."

  • "The hamburgers and hot dogs were great, however one person in our party ordered a steak which he couldn't eat. It was very tough."

  • "The food was good, but it was priced too high, in my opinion."

  • "We have been here before, but went again on my birthday. We live in Waynesville, so close dining options are limited. My husband had the pork tenderloin and I the filet with blue cheese butter. The food was great! Am grateful this is relatively close to home."

  • "All was nice, except the organ player was a bit too loud when we got there, it was difficult to hear my Wife. By the way, Trevor was AWESOME!"

  • "Always a great experience. Food was wonderful and service was great. If you are looking for great steak or seafood this is the place for you. It's set in a strip mall but don't let that fool you. The inside is very inviting. Great for couples or a family. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed."

  • "First time visit. The staff did a good job of taking care of us. The two of us each had pork dishes. My wife ordered pulled pork. The dish was tender and flavorful. Nice size portion. I ordered the pork trio. Pork chop, tenderloin, and ribs. The ribs were good. Sweet Baby Rays sauce. Nothing great but ok. The other pork selections were pink in the middle. My fault. I didn't order well done and I forget that this is the new standard for pork.. The selection was just ok. I had beer was great. My wife had a red sangria. It was worst she ever had. This place is more on level of a sports bar with ok food. I would be careful about ordering a steak. You get what you pay for."

  • "It was our second time visiting Patriot Steakhouse. The steaks are outstanding! The service was great. The owners even took the time to come over and talk to us. We talked about attending the Brian Thomas lunch. We can't wait to come back again and will continue to support this local restaurant."

  • "The restaurant is located in a good spot for meeting friends between Dayton and Cincinnati. The surf and turf was excellent, with a small 4 oz steak cooked just right. The grilled Tilapia was perfectly seasoned and grilled to a good texture. We had a nice talk with one of the owners... really like to support locally owned businesses."

  • "I've had the same waitress the past few times I've been there, and she is super friendly and helpful. The food is always good. It's not what I consider a particularly high end restaurant, so it definitely lives up to my expectations - which are a super casual place with tasty American cuisine. The proteins, in my opinion, aren't going to blow your mind. I only eat seafood, and it's good; not the freshest most delectable ever, but definitely good. The sweet potatoes are always perfectly prepared. The mac and cheese is more than mac and cheese it's tortellini with a super cheesy sauce - good stuff if you're up for a stick to the ribs mac-n-cheese. The shrooms were also good."

  • "Made reservations for four five days ahead of time thru the internet site. We arrived earily but was seated right away. It took us a while to decide on our orders because the menu has so much to pick from. We all ordered steaks and some of us ordered a combination of steak and seafood. The steaks were some of the best we ever had anywhere and the seafood made you feel like you were in CT. The best crab cakes in the Cincinnati area for sure. I highly recommend this place and we will be back to enjoy once again."

  • "Best Steakhouse north of the Ohio. Steaks are much better than other pricey steakhouses downtown, and the waitstaff is much friendlier!"

  • "All in all pretty food food, except the medium filet was maybe medium rare at best and my girlfriend couldn't eat in until we fried it up for breakfast the next morning. Also, the cold breeze that kept coming in from the door opening and closing. The fried shrimp was outstanding, baked potato was very good, but cole slaw was just OK. Good music being played by the piano man. This was my first time going there and my girlfriend had been there many times and I would definitely go back."

  • "We are frequent customers at the Patriot Steakhouse in Lebanon, OH. Overall, we have had good experiences there. The service is typically excellent. The staff have a low turnover rate so they get to know your name and vice versa. The steaks are very good but on the pricey side. Their pricing is comparable to Carvers and Chop House. They do offer several grades of meat from choice to prime for some cuts. The only negative comment I have is the pianist on Tuesday's and also on Valentines evening is very loud. So loud it is difficult to carry on a conversation if you are seated at any of the tables near the bar. The pianist is great but it would be so much nicer if he could turn down the volume some."

  • "This little gem we found on Facebook, it's small but has a lot of charm and great service all the way around!! The hostess greats you promptly and the bar is spot on with recommendations. We have been twice and both times were seated at the time of our reservation. The waiter/waitress were amazing, never miss a beat, glasses always full!! The steak prices are a little steap but there is something for every budget. We will be returning and highly reccomend!!"

  • "I had the angus filet Oscar. The steak was very tender, flavorful, and properly cooked. The bearnaise sauce, however, was off. Seemed like a pre-packaged preparation that might have had flour or corn starch in it? Otherwise, good service, very good martini, noise level conducive to dinner conversation. Would go back again; just wouldn't order the Oscar for the filet."

  • "My husband and I visit The Patriot at least once a month. Each time the experience is a little different. There have been times where the food has been amazing and there have been times where the food is just ok. But one thing that always remains the same is their fabulous wedge salad. I've never had a salad so huge and so delicious."

  • "The food and service was good, especially for a restaurant in a town the size of Lebanon. It's nice to have a good selection of hand cut steaks and freshly prepared seafood. However, when the check came for our party of 6, the gratuity was automatically included. We didn't think a party of 6 should warrant automatic gratuity and our server was actually the one who got shorted in the end. We'd have tipped more but felt insulted at the gratuity being included. We'll go back because of the food and service but it won't be in a party of 6."

  • "First time visiting. Food was great! We had an opportunity to taste the ribs, prime rib, filet and scallops. All were very great and the price was good for the quality of food. I would highly recommend this to others. Will actually consider coming back soon for a family birthday."
