The food always excellent as well as the wine list. Service impeccable. I just had dinner there a few days ago.
The lettuce wedge with bacon and bleu cheese was very good, my entree of pappardelle with braised steak Ragu was so delicious.
The Italian red wine was very nice and on Thursdays there is 50 percent off a bottle of wine over $75. We never even looked at the menu on a recent visit !
Pietro (the chef) made us (two couples) the best antipasto you could ask for....
18 year old prosciutto di parma, eggplant carbonara, burrata and the mostly delicious wafer thin sliced porcetta on the planet.
Then a pasta with loads of pecorino, black pepper, extra virgin olive oil and black truffles,
and finally, branzino over sauteed broccoli rabe.
With the exception of the branzino....none of the above was even on the menu.
You cannot get a meal like this in the Hampton's, Pietro is the man !
Ask him to make up a few courses for your table the next time you are there.
