This "gastro-pub" is a real find on the edge of the Fashion district and only minutes away from Staples. Energetic, knowledgeable staff serve outstanding earthy dishes like the porchetta and amazing roast chicken. Within a mile of The Staples Center, tucked into the fashion district, there is some serious cooking and drinking taking place. To call The Parish a "Gastropub" is to honor its amazing selections of hand crafted beers but does no justice to the quality of food coming out of the kitchen. The endive salad, a standard, had a new twist and the winter squash with bresaola was another perfect starter on a cold winter's evening. The Cassoulet was hearty with well seasoned and tender duck breast and the roasted chicken, one of the best in town. Great Burgandy by the glass made it heard to leave for tip-off. What a treat to find this spot and I'll be back with no game pending to real savor it next time.1/9/2013 12:00:00 AMA Gem of A FindIncredible food, some of the best drinks I have had anywhere in LA and the staff are always really helpful, fun and on top of great service.
