  • "My father and I took my daughter for her 21st Birthday lunch celebration and we had fantastic service and great food, would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion lunch or dinner!"

  • "My wife had her 30th birthday here and I have to say everything was exquisite. We had a private dining area and we were a large group but we had multiple waiters, and I have to say this experience has been second to none. Absolutely fantastic and the food and drinks were top notch. The restaurant is pricey, but for a special occasion it certainly is worth it."

  • "Took some Co-Workers out for a well deserved night out. The food was great, it took a while for our drink orders to come and our meal came out a bit slow but everything tasted fantastic. Would recommend to out of towners looking for a nice place to enjoy a meal."

  • "Great steaks but also lobster to die for have it stuffed with crabmeat"

  • "The steaks came out like warm at best. Returned to the kitchen and warmed and then returned to the table. Slightly better. Sides were discarded from plates though. No real efforts made by the staff rectify. To many good steakhouses in Boston to waste money in going back. Service is also much better in those as well. Won't be returning any time soon. Also not sure my points were credited to my account. Should get double for this place."

  • "Our experience was not great. We ordered our salads twice and the majority of them were sent back a second time. Both times they were ordered a specific way - dressing and cheese on the side. Yet both times, they were brought out dressed with cheese. None of our filet mignon's were cooked properly. Three of us ordered them medium, and one medium rare. One was brought out well, two medium well and one almost medium. It's frustrating when you call yourself a steakhouse, yet you can't cook a steak properly. There was no ambiance, it was very bright and not cozy."

  • "The food was good in terms of taste but the the lack of superior service and no real vibe means I won't go back. The way off the charts prices for what you get and how it's served is out of line with others in the area."

  • "atmosphere is really nice, a bit noisy but typical of most steak houses the service and food needs to be improved"

  • "Overall had a good experience. The appetizers; mainly the seared tuna was excellent. Pretty good wine selection. My main meal; bone-in filet was decent. My biggest complaint was the size of their tables. Very small for a party of 4."

  • "As a diner experience great service from minute 1 after stepping out of your car and being greeted by the valets. The atmosphere is outstanding with grand marble columns. The restaurant has high ceilings but it is not loud at all. You can carry on a conversation easily. Our server was so jovial and jumpy and I have never seen such a truly compassionate server. His name is Jason and I would highly recommend asking for him when you go to The Palm. The food is outstanding, I had chicken parm and it was great. Best I have ever had. The other guests at my table had a salad and swordfish. All of us loved the food. And to top everything off, the desserts were so tasty. We had a bag of warm donuts. By far, one of the best places ever! GO!!"

  • "Most food items were average at best No lobster for main course they ran out. This is boston how dumb can you be Lobster bisque was Luke warm to room temp with little to no lobster. At least you can serve hot soup even if the main ingredient is lacking At the prices they charge I expect better. Experience was on a par with Applebee's Very disappointed"

  • "We had a very nice lunch. Service was great. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfect."

  • "Food was mediocre at best and server did not listen to our requests. Two blocks from where I live and I will not return"

  • "We've been here multiple times and enjoy the food and especially the service. There are some minor areas to improve but overall good. Service really does make an effort but may not have as much tenured experience here (the place only re-opened a year ago after a location relo and refurbishment). In this instance, there was a group in the outer patio and the noise level spilled into the main dining area, ruining the ambience. The filets were prepared well, but the creamed/mash potatoes that are usually tasty fell a bit short. Dessert was excellent and both chocolate cake options are great! Nice wine and post-dinner drink list."

  • "This was my second time to the NEW Palm Boston. Tim was our server again, and as with our first visit, everything was fantastic. I had ordered a side of brussell sprouts, and didn't care for them. They offered to prepare them again, differently, but I declined. They removed them from the bill. The dining room is beautiful with huge marble columns throughout. In the spring/summer they will have outside seating, which should be GREAT. I will be back to check that out!!"

  • "Third time back this year and not disappointed. Food, service, wine and staff were top notch. Julie the hostess was charming and we enjoyed chatting with her while our table was made ready."

  • "New location in Boston is beautiful! Very high ceilings with huge pink marble columns. We were there on a Sunday night and the place was empty! Food and service were great as is expected at the Palm. We will be back next time we're in Boston."

  • "The food was not as good as the food at the D.C. Palm. Steak was micro and no veal chop on the menu. If you are planning a romantic evening for two this is not the place to go. Go with friends and after work-"

  • "The waiter was really bad. Extremely slow taking our order. We ate our appetizers and the table was cleaned up way before he took our dinner order. Took about 20 min from the time the table was cleaned up from our dinner and him giving us desert menu. He never even asked if we wanted coffee. Our water was never refilled half way through dinner. The steak was inconsistent. Both my husband and I ordered medium and he got medium rare while I ended up with medium well. The quality of meat was still good but for the price you are better off going to the Capital Grill in Burlington. Where not only the food is good but the service is excellent too. And yeah, the floor is extremely slippery. Watch your step."

  • "Palm is always very busy during the prime lunch time M-F 12-1 and the kitchen gets backed up. As a result, the main course takes a very long time to reach the table - usually more than half an hour."

  • "I love the Palm. Great food, great service and a wonderful location. I would recommend the donuts and the filet, yummy!"

  • "I have been going to the palm for 40 years and this restaurant use to be just amazing. I grew up in Manhattan and enjoyed palm 1 and palm 2. This restaurant was so hot that they were on opitsides of the street and still you had to wait at least an hour to get in. They have changed a lot over the Years and I don't mean them taking the sand off their floors. We ate at the palm in Boston and It was horrible. We ordered a 3 lb lobster split for 2 and it was over cooked and Served on one plate. When I tried to split it the whole lobster went all over The place. No lobster to eat now becides claw meat stuck to the shell. This was 78.00. We ordered a 18 oz n.y. Steak rare and it came out well done. No one cared even the manager. Not going back!!!"

  • "I've eaten several times here before and this time the sirloin steak tasted "pre frozen" and not up to usual standard. Needless to say it was a disappointment while everything else was fine. Of note is that the size of the bread loafs appear smaller. If the Palm is cutting back then also should the price."

  • "Had a 7pm reservation, they tried to seat us at table in the middle of the bar...not acceptable. Went back to hostess and she quickly changed our table to the upper level in a very quiet corner. Our server Jason was really on top of his game. From the time we sat down until the time we left about three hours later it felt like our table was Jasons only table...he did that nice of a job for us. The food as always here was great. We were with a couple who had never been there before and they were blown away be the size and quality of everything that landed on our table. Apps, salads and lobster bisque. Everyone had fillet in some form done perfectly. We ended with carrot cake and a bag of donuts shared by all. Truly a great night THANKS"

  • "I was very underwhelmed with the service and value given compared to the cost of the meal. I've been to many restaurants in this price range and am glad to pay for the offering and leave a meaningful tip for service, but it's not a good thing when while dining at the restaurant you keep asking yourself, "Exactly what am I paying for?" or "Is this meal really worth the investment." The reason why this dining experience was rated a "Fair" was because of the amazing attitudes of the servers and host. However, that alone does not make a satisfying 360 degree dining experience. In other words, I will not be returning."

  • "My family has been enjoying dinners at the Palm for as long as I can remember - I dont even have to look at the menu any more. I always get exactly what I expect to get. DELISH."

  • "While our service was the usual you would expect from any Palm restaurant, we were disappointed that our food was either room temperature or cold at best. The Bernaise sauce was right out of the fridge and frigid. Definitely not what I would expect from dining at several Palm Restaurants across the United States. We dined during a snow storm and despite the 200 cancellations and slow business, we left without the manager even acknowledging us and thanking us for coming in which would have been easy since he was standing by the hostess podium chatting with other staff."

  • "The service was top notch. The waitress was one of the best at the Palm! She was attentive and just superb overall! I wish The Palm was located with an ocean view."

  • "I have need to the Palm 6 times and each time the service and food was subpar. Steaks requested to be served medium rear were consistently served medium well , we sent back coffee three times as they we're served lukewarm and the prices are astronomical. After yesterday's debacle I will be going to Ruth's Chris or Smith Wollenskis."

  • "Great steaks; good sides - including spinach, brussell sprouts and parmesan fries. Service was excellent. Restaurant space is large (very high ceilings) located in the bottom of 1 International Place. Was there on a quiet night (Monday) - but could see the noise level possibly being an issue."

  • "The Palm was outstanding. The food was incredible but the service is what really made our experience. We went for an early Sunday dinner with our 17 month old daughter. Our servers were great with her and the manager was awesome as well. Our server brought out a live lobster for our daughter to look at and touch. It was very quiet in the restaurant as it had just opened and they had a live band that was playing. The whole experience was great and I would absolutely go back and recommend it to my friends."

  • "I expected more from this restaurant. The food was mediocre and the prices were high. One member of our party ordered a steak which came unevenly cooked. My crab sandwich was nothing special. And the service (business lunch) was very slow. Would not return."

  • "We frequent the Palm restaurants in NYC. This was our first visit to the Palm in Boston. The service was excellent, but the food was not up to the standards we've come to expect from The Palm. The brussel sprouts were excellent, but all of the other sides we "off" a bit."
