"Our first time there, so we had no preconceived ideas of what to expect other than others' reviews. My date and I had the Filet, both mine and hers were tender and tasty, though hers was not quite as pink inside as she'd wanted it fully satisfied her and was as tender as my medium-rare. We do plan on putting this place on our "Gotta come back!" list."

"You'll drive a long way from anywhere to this small, elegant restaurant in the quaint historic town of Snow Hill, Maryland, but your trip will be well rewarded. Make a reservation; The Palette is small. Soft lighting, sophisticated contemporary music and art, and outstanding contemporary cuisine are perfect for a special meal. We enjoyed a perfectly prepared filet (cut it with a butter knife), served with a mushroom/shallot/onion combination, and the restaurant's signature dish: slow roasted pork shank. The pork is a special treat, served demi-glace over mashed potatoes garnished with asparagus and rosemary; it's rich in flavor and the meat literally falls off the bone under your fork. Appetizer salads were generous and fresh."

"The Palette is the best kept secret of The Lower Eastern Shore. The food is great, the portions are just right, and they have a good wine list. I would highly recommend The Palette even if you have to drive a bit. It will be worth the trip!"

"This is a neighborhood gem. The menu is varied, yet simple with lots of fresh organic flavors to make every choice on the menu a dining experience. Not sure why they do not serve bread, but we noticed that it was not on any table that evening. This is not our first time there, and we did not remember not having bread in the past, but it certainly will not hamper our memories of the evening. We will look forward to our next visit!"
