You serve excellent food, but when the plate is served and half is filled w/fried onions, that reminds me of the French's onions in the can. It takes away the credibility of the dish."

The portion size was pathetic and tinsy tiny...and was comprised of 3 mini tacos 2 inches long by 1.5 inches high with very little chopped in little pieces lobster and tasted like canned mush. For a high end restaurant, I was disappointed and felt ripped off... Big time. Mostly filled with corn and little lobster meat! My desert was bigger than my entree...something is wrong with this!   • "Well the good thing about coming to the oregon grill is that i can take it off of my list of options for dining. The bad thing is that i will never go back. This is the place to go if you love flavorless and unbalanced food( 2 THUMBS UP WAY TO GO GUYS). the civeche it looked and tasted like it could have come from the freezer section of Sams club, at $17 for 6 bay scallops and 5 tiny shrimp with two endive leaves and no seasoning (it was awful). WAY OVERPRICED FOR SUB PAR FOOD"

  • "By far, one of the worst meals I've ever had. What a surprise for the Oregon Grille! The fried oysters were overcooked and still contained connective tissues, fried to the point of rubbery around the edges-still edible, but a downer. The Prime Rib was ordered medium rare. What came out was a Medium Well door stop. HORRIBLE! I was offered a new piece or substitution, but it took too long for that offer. Maybe because I was eating alone? I declined. The berries were good, but the whipped cream was too scant for the dish. The food was removed from the tab, but , this is the OREGON GRILLE! What happened???? The idea of this dinner special is to retain and gain customers. The opposite occurred."

  • "first time there and not worth the hype...flavor combos were off and made for some interesting dishes, too haute for their own good to be nice about it. And there were many complaints from other diners around us about their food too, so it just was not us and it did distract from the overall appeal! Very noisy couple next to us that complained about every dish and just would not stop talking, once they left the whole place was peaceful. So food and people made for a one time visit, we tried it but will not be back"

Better teaks have been had at numerous places. Half the group order dessert, none were finished as none of those were any good either."

We had a great time and were allowed to stay well beyond our limit for occupying a table space. The only problem was that my friend did not like the chicken on her caesar salad. She said it was too rubbery. Aside from that, a wonderful time."

  • "Our party included my 6 month old son in his car seat. The booth was not the best location for us considering that 4 of the 5 guestes are all 6ft+ and over 200#. That being said the sever wrongly assumed I wanted the moderate prime rib, he should've confirmed, the others were certain I said "bone in." He fixed it rite away so no real harm, then it just got too hot for me... Not sure if it was the food trays directly behind my seat or the huge steak. I couldn't get comfy and took it home. Staff was real cool about the baby so I was glad we weren't made to feel bad for brining him. Only other thing was we were celebrating my birthday and no one asked if it was a special occasion."

  • " We hated it. The watercress risotto was terrible, we didn't eat it and the prime rib was horrendous, my son wouldn't eat it that. The salmon was good. The French onion soup had a weird flavor to it but I ate it. The apple cake was ok it came with a peanut caramel sauce which was a bit strange We will never eat here again. If you go, men need a jacket. And the bar is filled with stuffed animals; someone loves taxidermy"

  • "Thank you, a very nice evening. Change the dinner rolls to a smaller size and offer in a warming basket. The large ones are good but get cold before you have your main meal. Offer a butter with cinnamon in it for the rolls. I appreciate the dividers between tables so you are not hearing others conversation. I loved the crab cake and the salmon - they were excellent along with the meal presentation. Tom our waiter was so great and easy to talk to."

  • "Disappointing since we went for our anniversary dinner (I specified on OpenTable reservation.) We arrived and sat in the main level to listen to the live music. No one came over for at least 10 minutes. Then a sweaty waiter showed up and asked what we wanted to drink - no menu, no "Welcome", etc. We ordered a drink. It came out quickly, but again, no waiter to be found. Finally the sweaty one came back, handed us menus and left - no verbal specials, no asking if there were questions, etc. Finally, he came back for our order. Then we sat there starving. No bread arrived until appetizers. Not one water refill. At dessert, sweaty arrived with cake (we paid for) and announced "Happy Birthday"!! $200 later, we left and probably won't be back."

We typically visit annually, but I couldn't pass on Restaurant Week.   • "Restaurant week 2014: how do they get off charging an EXTRA $7 an entree, and for a 3-course, NOT 4-course, meal? We were rushed (told up front that this would be a "QUICKIE"--at 3:45 p.m. which was the only reservation we could get before 9 p.m.). Why were we rushed? There was only one other occupied table, and there was NO ONE WAITING to be seated when we left at 5. My prime rib was chewy and tough, and although I couldn't eat it, my server didn't offer any consolation and just shrugged it off."

  • "I have dined at OG several times previously and have been very pleased every time. This was the first time I did Restaurant Week here, and maybe that wasn't a good idea. Two of the four entrees of my party were just okay. The appetizers we had, however, were outstanding. I am guessing that the kitchen was either overloaded or the chef just had an off night. The outside dining was wonderful and the service was great, so overall it was still a nice dining experience."

  • "Surprisingly very accomodating to young kids, which we really appreciated. Our waiter was phenomenal and very attentive and friendly. The food was not all that great. The rare steaks were extremely rare (probably the rarest I've ever had), and I had to send it back to have it cooked a touch more, after which it came back perfect. The oysters were good but I didn't get how the restaurant always wins such great ratings based on the food we had. Overpriced for the quality."

Additionally, we were told the chop steak was like ground beef and to order the prime rib but when I saw another table with chop steak it was exactly as expected beef tips not ground beef like the waiter explained. Made me think they were pushing the more pricey item by down playing the chop steak."
