There were 5 of us and we each had something different - all delicious. I just cannot pass up that heavenly MacKensie salad! Am a vegetarian so it suits me fine and is so good. Love the hot coffee drinks from the bar.

The service was good, but the food was a bit disappointing. I didn't like the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer; it had a weird taste and texture. My mac-n-cheese was pretty good, though I didn't care for the chicken in it - whatever flavoring/seasoning they used, I didn't like it. My husband enjoyed his brisket, though the sauce was a bit sweet for his taste. The worst was that it was extremely hot in the main dining area, and the fireplace wasn't even lit. My husband and I were roasting, so we ate our food as fast as possible and got out of there.

Food was good. Price was reasonable. Service was okay. Waiter forgot our waters, and was very slow at taking care of us. He had about 4 tables to take care of. The space temperature was about 80 degrees - a little too warm for me, but you date liked it.

Number one, the website lists Sunday dinner time starting at 2:00. They actually stop serving completely at 2:00 on Sunday and before 2:00 you can only get breakfast brunch stuff and a couple of regular items. We were there for a dinner. A hamburger may have been voted the best in Brunswick, but not the plain one we had I'm sure. The "house" dressing for the salad was so bland even salt and pepper didn't help. The special sauce for the burger also had no flavor, very bland. The noise level from a party going on at the level above us was terrible. They let young children run around up there. And below where we were it sounded like a stampede. The restaurant needs to maintain a peaceful environment for all. Would only go back for Corbo's.

I brought my group of 10 last week to The Orchard House to celebrate a birthday and each one of us absolutely loved our meals. I asked our server, Tom to decide for me what to order, and he selected the Pot Roast...and I am so thankful he did, it was absolutely OUTSTANDING! We had kids there too and they loved their dishes as well. Tom did a great job taking care of all of us, managing around the kids and helping us with the birthday cake we bought at Corbo's. Thanks to your team for a really memorable evening! We will be back soon for sure!!

My family dined at Orchard House on November 24th. My mother and I had previously eaten there a few years ago when they had a buffet brunch and we had a great time. Upon entering the dining room, we were struck by how cold the room was. We did not take our coats off for our meal. We mistakenly thought that there would still be a buffet service but ordered from a menu instead. There was a small menu selection but the food was fairly good- we enjoyed the pot pie and the french toast. Our server was nice and attentive, but it was simply too cold to really enjoy the meal. The restaurant was also very empty for a Sunday brunch service. I am not sure if that is a regular occurrence. We will not be recommending this restaurant.

We made a spur of the moment reservation for Orchard House on a Saturday night. It's been a few months since we've dined here and wanted to give it another try now that the busy autumn season is coming to a close. We were promptly greeted by a our excellent server Kim. My husband ordered the ribs and I had the pulled pork dinner. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. The server later told us that the new chef has added more time to the cooking process for the ribs. If you like the kind that fall easily off the bone, this is your place. I was especially pleased to be allowed to substitute green beans for the fries with my dinner. The apple butter cinnamon rolls are delicious too. This place should be lots busier!

My family would go to Mapleside Farms every year for Thanksgiving. The food was excellent and the ambiance was joyful and memorable. When I heard that a different establishment was taking over the restaurant, I was hesitant to try it because of my wonderful memories there. Recently we made reservations on-line to have dinner at the Orchard House. I was glad to still see the homey atmosphere of the fireplace and beautiful open scenic view were still present. The food at Orchard House was delicious and the service was excellent. The addition of the upper and lower bars is a nice touch. As in the past, I still see Mapleside Farms as being memorable but with an old/new feel for me now. Congratulations...nice job!

The hostess at Orchard House went out of her way to assure we had the seating we requested through Open Table. This time of year, that's a widow seat looking out at a colorful hillside orchard. The service was prompt and friendly. We were two couples out for lunch on a weekday in October. Conversation was easy in the quiet, relaxed atmosphere, even though the dining room was busy. The menu was varied and the food delicious. Save room for the apple pie a la mode. I haven't had pie that good since mom retired from baking. The Orchard House is located at Mapleside Farms. Instead of just hopping in our cars after lunch, we enjoyed browsing the bakery and especially the apple house, where be bought apples and cider to take home.

The restaurant's location has an outstanding view of the valley with the orchard. It's just a shame that the quality of food does not match up to the view. The bar has a really neat chandalier that looks like an apple tree. I have wished for years that a restaurant would move into this location that could provide good food and when the name changed I was hopeful. Unfortunatly the food just doesn't match up to the expectations set by the view.

As a family we were very disappointed in our experience. The restruant is beautiful and I expected a loud busy atmosphere. But we waited for nearly 45 minutes to receive our food and then the 3 children were served last. Only one of the adult meals was good, a salmon salad. The pot pie was potatoes in cream sauce. Where was the turkey and any other vegetable would have been nice. The other meal ordered was a grilled chicken sandwich which was too dry to eat. Which brings me to the lack if water refills. We drove 45 minutes for this experience and we will not be recomending this Restruant.

My family and I have dined at The Orchard House a few times, and find it to be a nice dining experience. I particularly enjoy the ambiance and setting. I feel that the prices are a bit high for the type of food offered. However, the food is consistently good, and a nice place to dine on occasion. It is a beautiful facility. The dinner rolls they serve are amazing - apple/cinnamon rolls plus yeast rolls - yum! It is wonderful to visit the MapleSide store and Corbo's bakery for wonderful items to take home.

After reading all the rave reviews we were very excited to try the new venue! Overall we enjoyed the restaurant. A few things we would have liked to see : more gravy with the pot roast - it was a little dry and the write up in the paper said it was served with lots of gravy - there wasn't much gravy if any. The jambalaya pasta was very tasty indeed! We were a bit disappointed in the smaller shrimp size however. The décor is one of my favorites and we loved the nice open look of the bar area. We will likely try again in the future but it wasn't quite good enough food wise for us to rave about and invite all our friends. Our server was super nice and fairly well informed, but was unable to answer some key questions about the menu.
