The ambiance was lovely...big old historic house. The food was very good. My talapia was fresh and nicely prepared but it wouldn't rave about the uniqueness of the preparation. My dining partners had ravioli and pork chops and loved them. Our appetizers were also very tasty as was the peach cobbler for dessert. The biggest disappointment was the service. We had to ask several times for water refills and the waiter not once came back to pour our wine. For the price and for the level of experience that the restaurant is known for, we did not experience top shelf service. We would consider returning should we visit Savannah, but there are so many other restaurants from which to choose.

First, reservations are a must...and well worth it! Fabulous menu, best food ever, friendliest staff, great house with each room uniquely decorated. We ate here twice. Make sure you see the cellar room/basement bar area. The BLT salad is to die for and the crab cake with fried green tomato Devine.

Our server Happy was a real pro! He was friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience really special. The scored flounder with apricot shallot sauce literally flakes off the bone and My wife's filet was cooked perfectly. The downstairs bar and entire restaurant have atmosphere to spare. A must visit while in Savannah!

We went there on our first night in Savannah for my wives belated birthday getaway. Not only did we enjoy, the server Nick was awesome and very knowledgeable about the food and area. He recommended a new coffee shop that he goes to a lot for us to get good coffee. We checked it out the next day and he was right.

The Olde Pink House Restaurant lived up tp all the wonderful raves we have other read and heard about. The beautiful rooms and decor were incomparable to any other restaurant we have seen. The food was delishish and the braised pork shank I had could have easily fed 2 people. Our server, was attentive and knowledgable about the menu. The only issue we found was that they were out of the wine my husband ordered and also out of the Ice wine he ordered for dessert, otherwise , we had a great dinner and experience

We made reservations for dinner for 9/17. My husband and I were dining out to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, we were seated in the basement, directly across from the bar. At first, we didn't mind as the live music had just begun, but as our meal progressed, and more people came down and crowded the bar area putting in their drink orders, the noise level continued to rise to the point that my husband and I couldn't hear each other without speaking loudly to each other. I was disappointed that we couldn't have a nice conversation in a quieter area. As for the food, I had he steak, which was delicious, but my husband would rate his pork tenderloin as average. We both agreed on the tasty praline basket for dessert. Would return

Gorgeous old mansion restoration. However, though upstairs room is beautifully appointed, setup is like a banquet hall. Food is uninspied, though waiter over sells it well. Wait staff is effusive. Service is poor. Waiter simply forgot us, eventually telling us that he intentional timed the meal in a slower fashion. Fortunately, our dinner didn't run into breakfast. Wonder if they set up cots next to the tables! Savannah has flavor, and I am sure there must be other places where the ambience is equivalent and the food and service better.

Exceptional service, ambiance and of course the food. We heard about this historic home which has been a restaurant for many years from friends who told us that it was excellent. We were not disappointed. The grouper was excellent, as was the New York strip steak. The waiter was friendly, attentive and very informative. The maitre de stopped by our table just to chat during the meal, even though it was packed with every table busy. I would heartily recommend the Olde Pink House1

From the moment we walked in we felt very welcome at the historic Pink House that has been painstakingly restored. All of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We visited the candlelit Tavern bar downstairs and enjoyed the dark ambiance and the cocktail selection was good. We had a superb dinner upstairs and appreciated the waiter's guidance with the menu and wine pairings. The seafood was very fresh, deliciously prepared and presented. The female singer moving around the tables taking requests, provided excellent entertainment. We will definitely return here on our next trip to Savannah.

My wife and I enjoyed an evening at The Olde Pink House while visiting Savannah, it was our wedding anniversary. I started with the She-Crab Bisque and it was wonderful, I recommend giving that a try. I had the crusted flounder and my wife had the stuffed grouper. Both were very delicious! The flounder was a unique preparation that I had not seen before, so it was enjoyable to try something different. The service was great, everyone was very attentive and polite. The only reason I held back from 5 stars was price; however, it's fair to say that I may not appreciate fine dining and associated cost as compared to others. If you enjoy fine dining and or have a special occasion to celebrate by all means give The Olde Pink House a try!

My husband and I are frequent restaurant diners. We've traveled the USA and enjoyed great food. This was NOT one of them. I've had shrimp and grits in a number of places and tried it at the Olde Pink House. It did not meet my expectations. Four small shrimp atop a card deck size of fried tasteless grits for $17. My son tried the Jambalaya. It had a film on it from sitting so long. He described it as tomato soup with rice without the normal spicy flavors of Jambalaya. My husband ordered a Hendrick's gin martini with his shrimp and grits. For $9 he received a small martini glass literally half full. When he complained to the Manager, she had nothing to say. PLEASE do not recommend this place to other tourists.

We had dinner here on our last night in Savannah. After trying several of the cities finest restaurants, this one was our favorite. One of the party requires a gluten free diet. The Olde Pink House offered the best options of any, including a praline basket dessert that was wonderful and worked for the gluten free need. The restaurant has 16 dining areas plus a downstairs level that offers music but each room is fairly small and intimate so you'd never know just how big it is. The waitstaff took the time to explain the history of the building to anyone interested in knowing more and they invited you to wander through to see all the interesting features at your leisure after your meal.

My husband and I loved the pink house. It was recommended by a friend . The food was excellent ! My husband thought it was the best steak he had ever had. Anjail was our waitress she was awesome. The prices were that of a nice restaurant but very well worth it . We paid more at a local chain crab shack and the food was horrible . The atmosphere was beautiful ! If we are ever in Savannah again we will definitely eat here and will recommend to our friends as well.

This is a true "fancy" dining experience in a historical home without the pretentious feel that we have had at similar restaurants. Jarvis greeted us an gave an overview of the home's history as he guided us thru the beautiful maze of hallways to the tavern below while we waited for our table. It was lovely with live music and a vibrant bar scene. When our table was ready, we were guided again to an absolutely wonderful table right by a window. It was a perfect choice, as I had asked for a private table for our anniversary celebration. Our waitress Maria, was a perfect example of superior service. She was energetic, professional and knowledgeable. The food was very good, especially the mac and cheese fritters.

I was visiting Savannah from FL to celebrate my birthday w/ 2 of my friends. Our reservation started off with a call back from the restaurant asking us if we would like to change our reservation of 8:15 pm, as they had overbooked. We arrived at the restaurant slightly before our reservation & we were seated 30 minutes later. Unfortunately, one of my friends meal was ruined because the kitchen does not know how to cook a steak with a "Medium" temperature. The first filet she received was rare, fatty & lackluster in taste. The 2nd filet, which was cooked by the head chef, again arrived rare. My friend decided not to pursue eating an entree, as we had long finished our meal. I could not in good conscious recommend this restaurant.
