Diner Reviews
  • "We very much enjoyed this night out. Waitress Bree was fantastic and meal was great. Disappointed Flounder was not served the night we were there. Heard rave reviews about it. This is a must visit when in Savannah."

  • "Took the 80 yr old Moms here by pedi taxi. Hub and I dined here last year.Went to bar for a pre-dinner drink. Entertainment not there yet. Went up to dinner and were seated in a quiet room as requested. So quiet that the chanteuse didn't stop in. Ran into her in elevator leaving, I expressed dismay and she sang for us right there! Food was tasty. No famous flounder that day but soft shell crabs instead served with the delicious apricot sauce! Fattest crabs ever! Very happy foodie!"

  • "We just loved Pink House. The food was exceptional, the service was great, and the ambiance was beautiful. This place is an absolute gem! We highly recommend the shrimp and grit appetizer, the she crab soup, and the scallops. We will make a point of going there every time we're in Savannah."

  • "I am a little late in my review but we loved this place! We came to Savannah for our honeymoon and my parents recommended this place. We sat at the bar downstairs to wait for our table and it was so cool down there, real old fashioned. The appetizers were soooooo amazing! My husband got the cheese board and we loved it everything on it complimented each other. Our dinner was very good as well there was a little problem with my main dish but the waitress could not have been more kind about it. I felt so bad mentioning something. I would defiantly come here again!"

  • "This was our second time at The Pink House and it was memorable. There was a bit of a mix up when we got there since there were two Stewart parties that had reserved and one already had arrived and they might have thought there would not be another. But that was addressed and we were given a nice table (we had said it was an anniversary dinner). The food is outstanding and our waitress Starla was great. We will definitely go back"

  • "This restaurant is by far my favorite in Savannah GA. The food is outstanding!!! If you go you must and I repeat must try the fried green tomatoes, o'my goodness they are tasty. The home is delightful and to take in the feel of dinning in an historical home is wonderful. The different dinning rooms each have there own theme. Make sure when your done eating to stroll around the home and take in its beauty. You will not be disappointed in the atmosphere and the quality of service and food."

  • "My husband and I went for lunch on the last day of our Savannah trip. I had the shrimp and grits. The grits are not soupy as I have seen other places--they are flash fried in wedges and are delicious! I had the house drink special (Pink Lady) and it was light and yummy. I followed it all with the praline bowl with vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit. I highly recommend this dessert! My husband had the crab cake which came with fried green tomatoes (he said "It was awesome!") and the pecan chocolate pie for dessert. When we return to Savannah we will definitely be returning to The Olde Pink House!"

  • "Olde Pink House was a must on our family visit to Savannah. Really enjoyed the experience the history of the house provided. Food was really good but the service and the opportunity to visit history made the experience the best!"

  • "We had to wait 45 min. even though we had a reservation. The noise level was off the charts in the upstairs dining room. The atmosphere was not relaxing due to the noise level and the constant hustle-bustle of the staff. Our server was very nice. We did not feel hurried during our meal.We shared the blt salad. It was tasty. My husband enjoyed his pecan crusted fish.I had the scallops(3) and thought they were peppery/spicy.My husband ate them.I can only give an opinion on the two meals we had and I would rate them average."

  • "I have seen both good an not so good reviews for the Olde Pink House. All I can say is that my wife and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary there and had a wonderful time. I had the fried pork chop and my wife had the pork tenderloin - both great. Before, BLT salad, she crab soup, and blackened oysters - also great. Combine the food with a wonderful waiter and a romantic 2nd floor room and the experience couldn't have been greater. Candle with berries and cream chocolate ending recognizing our anniversary - perfect!"

  • "Food was great, service was beyond excellent. Unfortunately after having about 15 minutes of quiet romantic ambiance, a table of 6 including 4 small (and loud) children were sat in our room. A few minutes later a party of 14 sat right next to us. They were loud and obnoxious. It killed the mood for us, but everything else about the experience was great!"

  • "The staff was welcoming and attentive, this was fine dining with southern hospitality, they really got it exactly right! The atmosphere was charming and the food was amazing! We visited with family from out of town and the Olde Pink House was the highlight of an evening out and about Savannah. We will be visiting this restaurant again and again!"

  • "So impressed that a restaurant that serves thousands a day never sacrifices quality. The staff is very friendly and detail-oriented. I can't wait to come back."

  • "We stayed in the Planter's Inn which is next door to the Olde Pink House Restaurant. The Inn recommends the restaurant on their web site as well as at the Inn itself. I took their recommendation and was not sorry. We went to The Olde Pink House Restaurant after a day exploring Savannah The service was superb from the second we stepped into the establishment. My wife has a bad knee and the Hostess quickly showed us to the elevator and explained the different rooms we went through on both floors. The server was fantastic and it seemed they had a manager just for our room who helped out wherever she could. The food was fantastic as well as typical of the area. The atmosphere was relaxed with views of Reynolds square. A true Gem."

  • "This is my favorite restaurant in Savannah...a "must" whenever we visit. Fantastic fried green tomato salad, cheese straws, stuffed grouper and the shrimp & grits cakes are to die for! Beautiful atmosphere, exceptional service. One of the highlights of our trip - particularly after being serenaded with "Moon River" as we danced in the upstairs dining room to celebrate our friends' engagement!"

  • "Perhaps you may suspect this place is a tourist trap since it is too highly recommended. Forget that. While the service was not stellar on this occasion, the food was superb. This place is a must while in Savannah."

  • "They serve too many people too fast. Having said that the quality of the food is good and staff generally friendly. The entire atmosphere is one of being rushed. There are better restaurants in Savannah to enjoy."

  • "My husband and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. Our food was absolutely delicious! The service was great and we were brought a little something sweet at the end of our meal even though we did not order dessert to celebrate the occasion!"

  • "This restaurant was recommended by friends and our hotel. We were able to get reservations the first night in town, on a busy holiday weekend. The food, ambience, and service was outstanding. It was a wonderful ending to the first day in Savannah. We would recommend your restaurant without reservation. It was a big part of our fun in your city. Sincerely, Janet Stockman"

  • "It's so popular it's nearly another tourist destination, but the Old Pink House still carries off your dinner as a special event and excellent food and service... nothing is diminshed. I will go there every time I'm in Savannah."

  • "The food was simply amazing! I didn't mean to eat as much as I did, but I really couldn't stop myself from eating, it was soo good. It felt like the food was better with eat bite. From the bread to the main course, my husband and I were in heaven. I could find a place for dessert so I'll just have to go back. I honestly wish we had gone here all our days in Savannah. The service was also something to applaud. The staff are the epit"

  • "My husband made reservations for us as a date night during our stay in Savannah. We could not have been more pleased. The kind hostess took our picture out front prior to our reservations. I ordered the filet and it was honestly one of the best I have had in awhile. We were seated on the first floor and had a window view of the street and park nearby. It was perfect for us! Amazing place."

We went for lunch which was very good; huge portions! The staff was impeccable and really made the experience so much better. Definitely will visit again (especially for dinner)."
