The Old WarsawWonderful!A beautiful restaurant with extremely nice staff. They were always attentive before we even realized we were going to need something. The food was incredible, as was the decor and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend visiting at least once!6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazingA friend recommended the Old Warsaw many years ago and I had the pleasure of a second visit recently. The atmosphere is old-world elegance and luxury, a perfect place for celebrating special occasions or a romantic outing. Be prepared to linger over your food, wine and conversation as the dining experience will not be rushed. The menu has plenty of options for every taste and coursed outlines to help you find the right combinations. The wait staff are attentive without being disturbing so you will feel comfortable having deep conversations. Our food was simply perfect; each dish well crafted and prepared to our specifications. Overall a wonderful place.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Diining at Old WarsawDinner on Friday May 31st at Old Warsaw was an absolute delight. The food selection and service was outstanding and the strolling violinist just was perfect to make the evening a memorable event. It had been several years since we dined at Old Warsaw but never again will we wait so long to enjoy the wonderful dining experience of Old Warsaw. We were never rushed and the staff was very courteous and explained the menu. The menu selections were abundant and reasonably priced as was the wine list. IT WAS SUCH A FANTASITC EVENING THAT WE WILL BE RETURNING ON JUNE 15TH WITH OUR VERY DEAR FRIENDS!!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMIdeal Mother's Day GiftI reserved the occasion for my Father to take my Mother on Mother's Day. They have never been to a white glove restaurant let alone one with a pianist and violinist. They were both delighted by the extensive wine offering as well as the pre-arranged menu array. You can pick a la carte but what Warsaw has done regarding the arranged menu is better than great.
My parents had an excellent experience and talks of once a month visits gently fill the air.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMA taste of old elegance....Our experience at the Old Warsau was very good. It was probably a long day for the wait staff, since there was a group of about 30 prom goers seated next to us. Although the service was adequate, I have been there when we received more amicable attention....
We were seated at a very close table for four when the reservation was for three..Do not know why. We were not offered a wine list. Although when we did receive our wine, it was very good. The violinist was excellent. Don't ever lose him.
The menu was outstanding and the food was very good.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMIntimate Birthday DinnerThe Old Warsaw was perfect for my 26th birthday. We had a party of 6 including my parents, sister and her husband, my husband and myself. The atmosphere was intimate but without being stuffy, allowing my party to bust into big belly laughs and a little toast. The violinist and piano duo, taking personal requests, was amazing and definitely set the restaurant apart from anything else I've experienced.
The crabmeat stuffed filet is the best meal I've had in a Dallas restaurant, and I loved the baked goat cheese appetizer. The service was impeccable, friendly and accomodating, and made excellent suggestion for pairing wine with our meals. I can't wait to make The Old Warsaw a special occasion tradition.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ambanceFood great, service great, strolling violinist fantastic5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Dining at The Old WarsawEverything about The Old Warsaw scream "excellence". The service is elegant, the staff always ready to serve a guest's needs or request and the food is as close to perfect as anyone could expect. The Gran Marnier souffle is to die for.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMDeliciousTook my boyfriend for his birthday. He's always wanted to try a beef wellington and it was great. My one complaint is they sat us next to another table when the rest of the dining room was empty.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved the entertainment!Loved the entertainment! Had a great experience and fun evening. Pianist and violinist were a bonus!!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I have been comingMy wife and I have been coming to The Old Warsaw fairly regularly for about 3 years and have been pleased every visit. I am not going to pretend that I am a food critic or have an exceptional palate; however, I know what I like and I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. The food is very good and the service has been outstanding. We often come prior to concerts at the AA Center because it is a great way to start a special evening and is quite close.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFilet is awesomeI went there with my girlfriend and while the service was a bit slow to begin, the overall experience was great. The music adds a little noise (violin player, piano player), but adds to the experience. I ordered the Rib-eye and I thought it was a bit overcooked, however my girlfriend ordered the filet and I thought it was about as tender as possible. I would say the filet will be my choice when i go back and I put it on par with Bob's, JRs, which are two of my favorites. Another thing about our experience I liked was the appetizers and sides were generally pretty good (exception of lobster bisque which was just OK). I had mushrooms and lobster tail and both were wonderful. I would go again.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMOld Money Old SchoolThe food was good in this old-school restaurant. It's the kind of place you take someone to show off your ability to spend lots of money having 3 waiters at your beck and call at all times. But the steaks and seafood are fairly ordinary, and you pay for each side dish. So two people having one steak and one seafood, with one fairly ordinary, unseasoned vegetable each, water, no salad or soup, no appetizers, no deserts, $100 plus tip. I can't imagine what it would cost to spend hours eating and drinking here. Still, it's a classy place with old country ambiance, and I would go back if I wanted to impress someone with my ability to spend money.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Easter BrunchA step back to elegant dining of years past. Great time had by all! Fit for foodies dishes and wonderful service. Recommended!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMCame here with a friend andCame here with a friend and wasn't expecting it to be so romantic. Thought it was also appropriate for a business type dinner.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was fantastic!Everything was fantastic! If I had one request it would be to bake your puff dough around the beef Wellington a bit more. My date and I both ordered that and the tenderloin itself was incredible, but on the bottom, it was quite dough like and we could taste the flour. Besides that, everything was a real treat; an unforgettable experience. Thank you!3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMThe restaurant was very good,The restaurant was very good, with great atmosphere. The food was great and the staff was very kind. Food did not take too long to prepare, and they have an endless menu of foods and drinks. The staff could however give the customers some privacy as they were standing there as we eat which was somewhat uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was totally worth it.3/10/2013 12:00:00 AM
