"The buffet has an enormous selection of dishes. Sometimes quality suffers for such a variety to be offered. We were there for the Sunday dinner buffet. The carvery looked good, the mashed potatoes were real. The lamb was a disappointment and the Cornish hen legs odd but tasty. Someone should give the stroganoff a stir as it had formed a skin. Desserts were bake-off chip cookies, sweet, decorative, tasteless petit fours, cheese would be a better option for dessert. Best bets were the rice and bread puddings for honest, delicious food. That's really the key here. Take a slow walk through, determine what is real and what is trying to be something it's not and plan your meal."

"Lovely atmosphere. Great entertainment. Disappointed in special menu for a Jazz night. Soup just warm. Beef on baquette difficult to eat with jus on side. Appetizer poor and tasteless. 4 people - all felt the menu was poor, so maybe the regular menu might be better."

"The trout was very good and well presented. My friend ordered fish as well, I can't remember which one, and it was served with a tomato barley mixture which was not good at all. The drinks, including coffee, were over priced."

"Enjoy the bands that the Old Mill offers. My family and I really enjoyed kicking up the night away with the Rolling Stones Tribute band. We had a blast!!...especially me!! We are definitely coming back to see more bands that the Old Mill brings in. Thanks for a great night!!"

"I went for the music which was great and the dance floor was spacious. we had alot of fun and the wine list was full of good choices.I have to say though that the food was awful-worst in my 35 years in Toronto.We didn't order an entree after the appetizer for two.Frozen President's choice appetizers taste better.How could fries/poutine be so limp and tasteless?I had a dessert with a few raspberries etc. dispersed on the plate which were good but there was a stringy lump in the center of the plate- tasteless to the point that I couldn't figure out what it was!Surely The Old Mill could do better.Even a Loblaws frozen dessert would have been a vast improvement.I realize that music venues aren't known for their food but this was sub-par."

"The band were amazing.... give credit where credits due, and they really were something. They even look like the Rolling Stones, let alone sound like them. The wings at the Old Mill are a hidden gem in my opinion. Service was ok. My wings can't be served until 8PM is a little silly."

"We (my husband and I), attended the "Hot Rocks" Rolling Stones tribute band/show on Saturday, March 31st/12 and we also enjoyed a wonderful meal. The band, service, venue, menu, seating (reserved table for two), were all spectacular - typifying The Old Mill. We had our wedding at The Old Mill in 1987 (Brule C). Prior to then, we had been to the Old Mill on several occasions for dinners, brunches and weddings, and continue to do so. Once again, we are very impressed with everything The Old Mill has to offer. Great job!"

"We had the buffet lunch which was eclectic in choices - each dish delicious. The service was outstanding and friendly - we felt comfortable and well taken care of. The Old Mill's charm and decor remind you of being in the country - again, relaxing and warm, yet elegant. A lovely two hours."
