"We had dinner here for my birthday. The food was delicious (loved the green chile sauce with Mac and Cheese with tte Ribeye. Our server, Jesus, was excellent. The lady who seated us was very pleasant too. This is something you cannot change, but I was disappointed that there was so much noise from the bar. It detracted from the ambience and romance of the dining room."

"The food is excellent and the chef will cater to dietary needs. The service is fine... The low rating is because we were purposely not told that it was the last night of a prixe fix dinner special. So happened friends were dining at another table, stopped by to say hello and asked us if we were there for the prixe fix. Once we brought it up to our server, it was honored; but we were told that it was the last night so they were not mentioning it anymore.
After we had ordered a $75 bottle of wine, cocktails, appetizers and dinner, we thought the lack of mention a bit chintzy. But, all's well that ended well and we would dine there again."

"As long-time residents of Santa Fe, we had not been to the Old House in years. The experience was exceptional. The food was delicious, the portions quite a bit larger than expected, the service excellent and the ambiance relaxing. I certainly recommend the Old House for locals, as well as visitors."

"The ambiance was wonderful, and gave all the flavor of Santa Fe. Tortilla chicken soup was outstanding, as was the chicken quesadilla. Crab cakes were adequate but not really flavorful. Service was excellent except it was my daughter's birthday and I phoned ahead and told the hostess who said they would bring a piece of cake with a candle, which did not happen."

"Unfortunately this was a disappointing return to The Old House. The food was average, the bus staff was superb, but waiter was less than attentive and at times disrespectful. We had joyous meal last August. When we mentioned we were here for the Prix Fix, then the attitude changed. Waiter even tried tacking on the extra cost of dessert, despite it being included in the prix fix. We live here full time. So with so many restaurant choices, I am afraid we will not be back to the Old House. And as you know, we will no doubt not recommend to friends and neighbors."

"The food was and service were both outstanding. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.
You must try the Rib Eye that is aged for 28 days!!!! I don't normally like rib eye, but this was THE BEST STEAK I think I have ever eaten. Also save room for the carmalized banana and ice cream ( I think they called it "banana split" ) You won't be sorry!"
