The Old Fourth Street Filling StationWonderful brunch!We were blessed with beautiful weather so we could enjoy Old Fourth Street's lovely patio. The food was great. Our group enjoyed eggs Benedict, Crabcake eggs Benedict, and Salmon Salads, among other things. The fresh fruit and roasted potatoes sides were yummy. Consistently one of our favorite restaurants. The patio is fantastic -- a great feeling of outside with trees and a little fish pond without feeling right up against the street. The street itself is not very busy, being on the edge of downtown. The food was delicious. We had appetizers of crabcakes and southwestern fried wontons and generous entree salads. We were there on Saturday to celebrate my son's graduation from Wake Forest. We live in Greensboro and have found many nice restaurants in Winston that we like. The only negative was we were seated outside in the covered area and it was very chilly. We asked that the heaters be turned on which they were but the table behind us (who were directly under the heaters) complained and had them turned off.
