The North Fork Table and Inn offers a progressive American menu committed to the highest standard of culinary excellence.

The restaurant's menu focus is seasonally inspired featuring locally grown biodynamic and organic produce, the freshest seafood from the pristine Peconic Bay and L.I. sound and award winning North Fork artesian cheese. Increasingly distinguished and awarded Long Island wines are highlighted on the wine list, as well as their national and international counterparts.

For your dining options we are presenting a $75 3-Course Prix Fixe menu and the Chef's Tasting menu.

You may dine Ala Carte or have the Prix Fixe Menu at the bar on a first come, first served basis.

Ala Carte and Chef's tasting menus are available during Brunch.

  • "Actually, this is the best restaurant I have been to anywhere. Consistently surpasses each time I go. Food is superb, service is outstanding, staff is very friendly. Best chef anywhere!! Cold Gazpacho soup with crab was delicious and refreshing. Tuna steak was cooked to perfection - sauces are flavorful and don't overpower. What can I say about desert?? Wish I could have ordered one of everything. Chocolate Panna Cotta with marinated cherries and sorbet was rich with flavor - makes you want to lick your plate clean. We were also served a surprise raspberry cream desert as a sample - perfection!! Only complaint I would have is the dining room gets noisy when crowded."

  • "Everything about my experience here was amazing. I could have been fully satisfied with a meal that consisted entirely of the fresh, hot, buttery awesomeness they label 'bread,' but surely this other-worldly concoction cannot be bread. Anyway, I started with the Thai-inspired butternut squash soup with shrimp ravioli. It was as good as it sounds, maybe better. The bacon-wrapped pork loin served with a medley of root vegetables was hands down the best entree I have ever had anywhere. The combination of flavors was perfect and their house smoked bacon was something else! Dessert was great too, and they had the service to match. The complimentary tuna tartar before the meal and homemade s'mores after were a perfect touch!"

  • "The food is amazing here! I had beat salad which is one of the best I have ever had and my husband had the smoked salmon-amazing preparation. I chose the salmon which was very creative and perfectly cooked and he chose the duck, again...amazing. The chocolate dessert with caramel was over the top, I can't say enough how wonderful the food is here. Our only disappointment is the ambience. It was rather stark and not very warm atmosphere. Service was good, not great and for the price it should be. We will return, but there are a lot of great restaurants on this area."

  • "This is one of best restaurants we have been to. My wife and I each had different starters (roasted beet salad and tuna tartare) and entrees (mahi mahi with vegetables in a light broth and duck breast). Each was delicious, cooked as requested, and beautifully presented. Both of us had the cheese course for dessert, three lovely cheeses. The wine by the glass selection (required by an hour and 20 minute ferry ride and a two and one half hour drive home) is excellent, and reasonably priced. The restaurant is a long way out on Long Island, but compares most favorably with the best restaurants in major cities in this country and Europe."

  • "For a special occasion this place was great! Food was fresh, ambiance was great for a romantic special occasion. Everyone who worked there was an absolute delight and so polite! One of the restaurants I chose to bring my boyfriend to for his 30th birthday mini vacation. I only mentioned to them when I reserved the time that it was his birthday 3 weeks before we went. When dessert came they included a happy birthday note on his dessert! Know that you will be spending a little bit more money for a night here, but it is absolutely worth it. Thank you so much for making our first night of our first mini vacay a night to remember!! :)"

  • "There was a baby at the next table, and although it was infrequent, there were too many baby screams and parents fussing at the table, and removing the baby at times. There were only two menus either pix fixe 3 course meal, $75 @ or an extremely expensive tasting menu @ $150 for food, +$30 @ for wine pairing. We dine out often, and we were still taken back by the prices. Too much raw food on the menu for my taste. I doubt we would go back."

  • "We were greeted with glasses of an excellent sparkling wine. They had to change our table as our party was short 2 people from the original reservation. Though the staff is young, they are well trained. We couldn't have been happier with the service. All of our appetizers and main courses were well prepared and tasted great. My only complaint was that I found the menu lacking. Out of 7 appetizers, 3 were made from raw fish and 1 was a salad. The remaining 3 appetizers didn't excite me. I settled on one of the raw fish items which I enjoyed. Same for the main courses. I had the duck which was cooked to perfection and tasted great. The dessert menu had many enticing selections and my selection was delectable."

  • "Our table of 4 did the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. It was an incredible 6 course meal; we'll actually a 6.5 course as they send out an amuse-Bouche to start - chilled cucumber soup. Every course was on point in taste,texture, color, and portion. By the 5th course I was stuffed and so were my 3 male friends who can eat. From seared fois gras with sashimi hamachi to cavatelli with wild mushrooms, steak to goat cheese soufflé each were paired with a remarkable wine. Although the 3 course prix fixe menu had a great selection, I think first timers should experience the chefs tasting."

  • "We've dined at North Fork Table many times, and the food is always exceptional. Always. That said, the service is uneven and very often lacking. And this time it was very poor. Tap water poured in glasses when we'd ordered sparkling; 15 minute wait to order after we'd closed menus (and I had to flag waiter down or who knows how long it would have been); bacon ordered not on plate. Room wasn't full, either. I realize it's probably difficult to hire professional waitstaff on the North Fork, but given that NFT is in the same price range as similar restaurants in the city, it's a must."

  • "Went for Sunday lunch and four of us ordered their tasting menu. Have done this many times before as the food is excellent and the price better than at dinner. Not sure what was wrong this time but service was excruciatingly slow and portions smaller than ever so that we continued to be hungry throughout the three hour experience. It was only the chocolate soufflé at the end that finally addressed the hunger pains. The food itself was delicious (even if it was just 3 mouthfuls plus desert)."

  • "This was our second time dining at NFT&I. Both experiences were extraordinary. The food is the star, but in no way does this statement diminish the total experience. All of the staff were intent on making each guest feel comfortable, valued and informed. We chose the three course menu, which suited us that Saturday evening. We hope to return and try the five course chef's tasting menu. The tasting menu is expensive, but in a restaurant of this caliber it is justified. The only issue we had was the noise level was high for a small and intimate dining room. This is not a major concern. We highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "My husband and I had brunch there last Sunday. From start to finish it was wonderful. We ordered the cheese plate to share, which was delicious and then we both had the spring vegetable risotto, which was more than fabulous. I had had Chef Hayden's asparagus risotto at one the Cooking Sessions I had taken with him and Chef Penner, so I knew what to expect. This risotto was as good as that one. All of the spring vegetables and the creamy rice and puree were to die for. Thank you for a delightful afternoon!"

  • "(in the North Fork area) you are on the right track here. Our first time on LI, we made a reservation based on various reviews. I have to say it was a great experience. As a chef myself I tend to evaluate menu items a little more analytical than most. Excellent food, not pretentious but true to the area, great flavors, carefully prepared with passion. As a table we had all desserts on the menu and those surprised me even more. Every single one was spot on! Wine selection and recommendations also were well chosen...It is by no means inexpensive but to me it was worth the price tag. You just don't find a gem like this too often."

From the minute you enter, you are warmly greeted and ushered into a welcoming room where you feel at home but special. The waitstaff are young and knowledgeable, the sommelier imparts his enthusiasm for local wines with great pleasure and the food is heavenly from first bite to last. Don't skimp - do get the fois gras, or the tuna tartare, the bass, the soft shells or the duck. Do NOT miss the donuts for dessert. Linger and enjoy the experience far from the madding crowd. "

  • "Have been to NFTI many times and always eaten from the tasting menu but this time some of our guests did not wish to do this so we mainly ordered from the regular Brunch menu which I have never done before. I do have to first say that the restaurant allows you to order individual items from the tasting menu but they only do the full tasting menu experience if the entire table orders the tasting menu. The regular brunch menu seems to be a very halfhearted affair and standard of cooking and presentation was so sub-par compared to the tasting menu it was hard to believe it is the same restaurant. I highly recommend the tasting menu and strongly suggest you make sure that everyone in your party is happy with that, and boot those that say no."
