Fun in the bar; very danceable music, everyone having a ball. Mostly over 45 (including active seniors), but younger people mixed in as well. I always have a great time, even if I'm not in the mood to dance. Fun people-watching, friendly crowd as a rule. The restaurant is also lively, very good food and service; I've never been disappointed. Highly recommend if you want to go out and have a good time. The cabbage rolls are one of their specialties.

Overall the dinning experience was ok. Compared to some other dinning experiences in the desert (LG's, Cliffhouse, the Lavendar Bistro) this experience was very disappointing. Nothing was compelling enough to make me want to return a second time. Not the food or service. We ordered crab cakes (they were very good), prime rib (it was ok, we've had better; it was a bit gamey), the moussaka (it was good, but not good enough that I'd ever want to order it again) & the dark chocolate cake (it was delicious). Our waitress was working really hard, but her service was average at best. She got points for effort, so we still tipped her well. I rated the service low because there was this incredibly rude lady who was fixing a table next to ours and she wanted to get rid of a chair. She took the extra chair and swiftly swung it around to face out table without a glance at us, asking us, "mind if I place this here?" , or anything remotely courteous. As far as she was concerned our table was empty. It was so weird and rude. And we waited a lot. For almost everything. There was a line to get in for the bar scene. The energy was great, but it seemed overrated. I guess there aren't too many options for a good lounge/bar. It seemed like a fun place to hang out, dance, and enjoy drinks, but not fun enought to wait in the line. So no, we would not return or recommend. There are plenty of other places we could go to enjoy better food and service. I hate to think ethnicity or age has anything to do with it, but we are a 30 something Hispanic couple. Most of the patrons were white and the median age was probably 50 something. Who knows why, but even still; the food wasn't good enough that I'd want to give it another shot.

Two for one. In other words if you want a great meal and club atmosphere afterwards this is the place. Was there with 4 other gentleman and we each had a different dish. Not one of us was disappointed. After dinner you have the bar scene next door with a variety of ages and the most fun for those that like to socialize and dance. This is not what it was 10 years ago. Want fun and a good meal be sure to stop by.

The Nest on Hallowe'en was the most fun I've had in a long time. Four of us had a great dinner, service was excellent and then went to the bar area to dance. The music is always good, the crowd is always interesting and the costumes on Hallowe'en only added to the fun! Love The Nest!

As always, the Nest is a great "place" to visit. I say place because the food is always great, the service people work hard to please the guest and of course the entertainment is the best anywhere. Dancing may be a bit crowded but the energy is over the hill. So, you may call it a restaurant, you may call it a bar, you may call it an entertainment venue so I call it the "Place".

The service and food was excellent. The menu offered so many of my favorite dishes and I appreciated the GF options. The Nest has a happening bar but the restaurant is directly next to it so it is loud but most people know that. The food was OK except the "chopped sirloin" at $26 was nothing more than a hamburger patty with blue cheese crumbled on top. The ahi appetizer was very good but the "chicken snitzel" was poor with too much batter and breading. Overall it is overpriced for the quality.

Upon entering, we were ignored and kept waiting for a hostess type person. The table setting was elegant but the food not impressive. Sort of ho-hum for the price. The bar section (through which you had to enter) was very noisy and would probably appeal to bar clientele. But it was a put off for the fine dining section for what was supposed to be a romantic, special occasion. The hostess attire might, by some, be appropriate for the bar section but not the fine dining area.

The Nest was everything we had heard. We made dinner reservations for 2 at 8:30. The place was hopping when we arrived, live music, dance floor and bar filled. We were given a corner table away from the music but it was still quite loud. Good food and wine, both reasonably priced and attentive service. We noticed the people continued to stream in. When we left at 10:30 there was a line of attractive people waiting for the opportunity to get in. Great place to eat, see and be seen.

The Nest has a prixe fixe menu option that is excellent. The staek and lobster were prepared perfectly. And Tuesday was half price wine night. Our waiter was excellent. While alittle less lively than during the season, the bar was still very active. The Nest is just a consistently excellent food experience and, if you like to dance, a great social experience too.

We have heard so many raves over the years about the Nest so decided to try it. Having read all the positive responses, perhaps we hit an off night, but our dining experience was far from positive. My pork chop entrée was very good; however, the cannelloni entrée was no better than fair. The service was neither gracious nor attentive, in spite of it being a quiet night. The prices seemed reasonable -- not cheap, but reasonable UNTIL we got our bill. When we were first seated, the waiter had asked if we preferred still water or sparkling. We both opted for sparkling. Lo and behold, we were EACH charged $7 for one glass of water. Yes, a total of $14 for water. Outrageous!!!!

We have visited the Nest many times over the past 35 years, however, the new ownership has vastly improved the food. The special Parmesan Crusted Cod was delicious, and my husband's cabbage rolls a departure from the tomato sauce loaded version of the past. Our waiter snagged us a table in the packed bar where piano music had brought in the locals, and we noted that both the older and younger crowd were enjoying the music and dancing. Still a great place.

We were staying at a resort in Indian Wells and looking for a restaurant for my birthday celebration dinner. Found this place by searching Yelp where it got very high ratings. The food was AMAZING! I got the parmesan crusted filet of sole and my husband got the shrimp scampi. We were both 100% satisfied. The wedge salad was delicious too with blue cheese crumbles, bacon and tomato. The waiters were super friendly and helpful. The live music from the bar was not too loud and added to the ambience in the room. For 2 people with dinner and 3 drinks, the total was about $100. There are slightly less expensive options, but it was fine for a special occasion.

Not only the food was delicious, but the service and atmosphere was great. Once you are done with dinner you can enjoy some 70s & 80s music and dance in the bar area. All the ingredients are there for a good and fun evening. The owners are there to greet you and add the personal touch. I will definitely come back.
