The Dover Sole was the best I have ever had. The Black Cod was also excellent! The souffles were fantastic. The noise level was very low until a large party came in and sat at the next table.

This is a chef-driven restaurant. Thus, food was excellent, as usual. Service was lacking, as usual. We were seated at 7:35. It was 8:25 before we had our salads! We had to flag down our waiter each and every time we needed something, even though he had to pass our table to get to his other tables. Bless the water server! He was attentive, prompt and unobtrusive.

Overall a good experience. Service was a bit wanting and not up to the rest of the experience. We had a party of 8 and , with wine, got out for just over a grand. Food was delicious and souffles were a nice end to an enjoyable experience.

Initial welcome service was slow...we did get their a bit early around 6:30, but after a short while they were in full swing. We did not complain, but waiter was aware of the delay and gave us something extra later on to compensate. Overall a wonderful dinning experience with a little extra effort was put forth because it was a birthday dinner.

well crafted new american menu plus seasonal menu specials. Fish dominates - black cod was executed to perfection, high raves for sea bass and red snapper.
loved the salads and salad dressings (green goddess, thousand island, roquefort
party of 9 handled with ease.
side dishes not a good price value; wine list nice but priced too aggressively - missed opportunity as a result... that said, go and go often, you won't be disappointed

This is my 3rd time to lunch at Mercury and I must say unless you have time for a long lunch, you should consider another restaurant. The service is very slow. I had to asked for menus after 15 minutes and a glass of water. My previous experience was better on service but not with the hostess stand. Having made my reservation on Open Table I was told that there were no tables so I could sit in the bar.

The lamb shank was outstanding! If you like caviar, the caviar egg on app menu was great! Cous cous app was ordered as a side and was delicious. If you're not a bacon fan - make sure to order without bacon.
