The Melting Pot - White PlainsMore about the experienceWe went to The Melting Pot last night with my husband and two of our friends, another couple. Our server, Jocelyn, was brilliant. We all loved the fondue, salads and loved the idea of cooking our own entrees! Everyone really enjoyed the entire experience. I can highly recommend the sangria and perhaps because of this, keeping track of the various cooking times was a little difficult! A little card with each pot could easily outline the suggested time per entree. The one thing I didn't enjoy about the whole experience was our proximity to a 12 year old birthday party... Thankfully they emptied out half way through our meal. There was something for everyone. Food and cooking "broths" were delicious! The only two negatives i have is that there are so many different things to choose from it was a little hectic and confusing at first. And from start of the meal to when we were finished was about 3.5hrs. Just because it took time to change all the pots for each course. The drinks were great. Not too strong and not watered down, just the right mix. The food was very good, but our favorite part was dessert. We got the white chocolate fondue. It was such a great way to end the night. By the time we left we were so so full! Great food and the service is excellent! Alan our server was prompt with our food and made it more enjoyable. Wait wasn't long at all and my girlfriend and I went on a Friday night. It was very live but they can handle the crowd quite place. Only downfall I'd say is it felt like I was in a labyrinth on my way out. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience. Also, your wonderful and attentive wait staff was exceptional, and we all agree that we made the right choice in selecting The Melting Pot to celebrate with our 80-year old Mother. The private tables are perfect for a romantic be by yourself meal. They have tables where you don't see anyone but your waiter. Take the tour of the place if it is your first time, it goes on forever unexpectedly.
The dipping sauces are all tasty, some combinations with the meats are better than others, but not a bad one. This restaurant could be a desert stop because the chocolate fondue with all the tasty dipping items like chocolate marshmallows, mini cheesecake, graham crackers, pound cake, etc were all fun.
Overall this was a great experience.
So try this place out it is worth the experience.

Server was very attentive, quiet table and pleasant. Decided to go back this weekend with my husband's daughter. Server was okay, did not give you any insight or explanation on the menu, was no where in sight when we needed him. Also, sat at a very noisy table, on route to the rest rooms for the birthday parties, so lots of kids running back and forth.

My daughter was ecstatic over the fondue choices and walked out completely chocolate satisfied. The waiter was extremely helpful with the menu and the food choices we might like. Being our first time, we didn't have any real expectations.
