Diner Reviews
  • "Have gone many times before, food is always great and servers are amazing. Because they spend more time at a table explaining and making cheese fondue for example, they take the time to converse and get to know you. But other servers always help out if your server is making cheese for another table. Management is quite visible and on top of everything. Also love the private couples booths in the back. Great for those like my fiance who don't like crowds."

  • "Girlfriend and I had an Anniversary Dinner here, and it was awesome. The only thing was the sticker shock at the end of the dinner. With a few add ons we spent $168.00 for 2 of us. Yes, we were there for over 2.5 hrs, and it romantic and we had liquor, but since we don't go out much it was a little more than I wanted to spend. Romantic ambience, and a lot of fun otherwise."

  • "I brought my 10yr old to your establishment, for the first time last fall. He had a wonderful time cooking his own food. He wants to have his 11th birthday dinner there this year. Well, he couldn't wait that long, so we had lunch there again last week. The servers have been awesome. It's a great place to take children for lunch and an excellent place for adults at dinner. We will be back....I don't think I have a choice."

  • "My date and I were greeted at the door by friendly people and were seated immediately. The server was helpful and enthusiastic and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect for a date: the lighting was dark, but bright enough to see what you're doing (and it's adjustable at your table). I would recommend this place for anyone looking to take their special someone out for a romantic evening."

  • "Took my soon to be 16 year old daughter for lunch. Wanted to see how it would measure up for a group of 16 yr olds. Our sever was very friendly and took the extra time to explain the "process" and gave good recommendations. The entire experience was fun and delicious. Can't wait for party day."

  • "Both the food quality and quantity have dropped off. Both the cheese course and chocolate course are ridiculously small. For a table of 6 adults there was barely 1/3 of a pot. We each had 3 items dipped and ate the remaining "dippers" without chocolate. On a separate trip we ordered 2 servings of chocolate "to go" for which we paid $16. There was less than 3/4 cup of the chocolate and only 1 of each dipper. The servers continue to be wonderful. Unfortunately, that's not enough to make us return."

  • "Great way to spend a fun evening. Food is good but cooking times tend to be longer than what is instructed. Many great choices for dippers. Not cheap though but they do have good deals."

  • "I've been here a handful of times before with my girlfriends, and the food was always great, and there was always a mellow vibe. This week, four of us went with a reservation only to be made to wait an additional 25 minutes past our reservation time. The restaurant was very crowded, and they not well equipped to handle such a crowd (even though you'd think they'd be prepared - everyone I saw waiting in the lobby mentioned that they had a reservation and were waiting). The food was great as usual, but the atmosphere was noisy and busy, and with families and small children all over the place, it did not seem like the usual patrons that I normally see (couples, groups of ladies, etc.) Not a real problem, it was just much noisier than usual."

  • "Had a very enjoyable visit. This was our first time at a Melting Pot. We really had a good time and we plan on returning. Food was very tasty and service was good as well. What a cool way to dine."

  • "We've been going to The Melting Pot for years to celebrate different things and just because and the food was amazing as always. This time we took our 7 year old and our 4 year old. This was new to them and they absolutely loved it too. Great food. Great time!"

  • "I absolutely love the Melting Pot, especially the Warrigton location. It's in a great and pretty area; it's all around an amazing experience. The food is delicious, the surroundings are nice and the wine is a great topper!"

  • "Family of five on our yearly special dinner out. We certainly cannot afford The Melting Pot often but when we have gone we have enjoyed the dinner and experience. Expect to have 2 1/2 hours of enjoyable conversation because the dinner must be enjoyed at a much slower pace than most restaurants."

  • "We went to Melting pOt recently for a girls night out, seemed like we weren't the only group of ladies that thought this was a good spot . There were a lot of small groups and some romantic dinners, one kid party that was well controlled. Overall a great dining experience. Food was good, they should par boil the potaotes first to help them cook faster but other than that, all was ok."

  • "For my birthday, three of my friends and I wen to the Melting Pot. I am a fondue addict!! The food is always awesome, especially the dessert choices...strawberries and bananas dipped in chocolate, you just can't go wrong! The server even wrote HAPPY BIRTHDAY on a plate in chocolate for me, complete with a candle to blow out! The service was a little slow, as we were there close to 3 hours. That didn't matter though because the food and actual service totally made up for it!! Thank you for helping make my birthday dinner special!!"

  • "Melting pot is hands down amazing. If you want to go above and beyond for a special someone or have a girls night out- this is the place! Great cheese fondue, amazing chocolate fondue, and a dinner experience like no other."

  • "We went as a group of 9 for my birthday. We were able to pre-order our food and it started coming out right away when we got there. There was however a mix-up with the entrees we ordered. The wait staff was very friendly."

  • "Three of us visited the Melting Pot for the first time, and had a very nice experience. The restaurant was nice, the staff was exceptionally pleasant and made a positive impression on us. They explained the menu, and we decided on the full four-course dinner. Bottom line: the cheese fondue and salads were excellent, the entrees were good but not remarkable, and the chocolate fondue was very good. The entrees, while good, were so overseasoned that I couldn't taste the actual beef/pork/chicken/duck. That was disappointing. The Melting Pot is pricey, but was FUN. We were there for 2-1/2 hours, but don't go here if you don't want to talk to your dining partners. I'll probably go back, but will skip the entree and chocolate parts."

  • "The food was very good, but it was our first time there and we were there for three hours still without dessert. We hot dessert yo go because our waiter was so slow. He also didn't explain things clear."

  • "My wife and I have been going here for years. Never had a bad experience. Unfortunately my wife passed away in December so I was hesitant on going alone. I ate at the bar and Kelly the bartender made the experience worth it. She took time out of a busy night to keep checking on me about the food and the beers. The manager on duty also was exceptional. I will definitely be back, whether I am alone or with others, I know my experience will be pleasant and wonderful."

  • "When I made the reservation I requested a table with the most amount of light - my mother has macular degeneration. The hostess led us to a table with NO light. I had to ask for a table by the window and ask to have the blinds opened. Not sure how many people would use this for romance but the need to have a few tables with LIGHT"

  • "We took the family to the Melting Pot in Warrington to celebrate my daughter's 17th birthday. We had a terrific experience! The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They added special touches (at no cost) to recognize my daughter's special day! Our server was wonderful and very patient with the first timers in our party. There was something for everyone. And the restaurant has several rooms, so that celebratory parties are in one area and anyone wanting a quiet, romantic dinner was in another area. And the manager not only stopped by our table to ask about our experience, he spent time talking with us and asking our opinions on new menu items. I would highly recommend this restaurant!"

  • "Once you get through the uncertainty of the complex menu, which the wait staff expertly explains. While the portions look small they were very filling. The food selection is extremely wide and could please anyone's tastes"

  • "Not enough servers which led to very, very slow service."

  • "What could be better than that? My friend and I went to the Melting Pot for lunch to celebrate her birthday. We really liked the lunch deal for $20 per person, and we chose the cheddar cheese fondue along with a salad as the main course, and pure milk chocolate fondue for dessert. Loved all the different "dippers" that came with the fondue - bread cubes, vegetables, fruit, marshmallows, brownie pieces, rice crispie pieces, even a little slice of cheesecake and a chocolate-covered cherry. Definitely will be back again with friends and family to celebrate special occasions (or just for fun!)"

  • "I love The Melting Pot. ThIs was the first time I brought my children with me. We where celebrating my daughters 12th birthday. She had a blast and thought it was the coolest thing ever. She loved the teddy bear and balloons I ordered for her too. My son had a great time as well. His favorite part was the cheese and chocolate. Can't wait to bring them back again.:-D"

  • "My boyfriend and I have made The Melting Pot an annual trip for Calentines. We look forward to coming back every time. We don't eat all day to make sure we have enough room for it all. It is such a fun experience. You can take your time, you never feel rushed out, unlike other restaurants. You could be there for hours just enjoying the food, and most importantly, each other's company. Both years so far, my boyfriend and I had the best time. It's really a romantic setting."

  • "Went with my sweetie to celebrate my birthday and Valentine's Day. Had a private, romanitic booth in the back area they call Lover's Lane. The swiss cheese fondue with bread, vegetable, and fruit dippers was excellent. Enjoyed the main course, oil cooking of filet, shrimp, chicken, sirloin, sausage, and mushroom caps stuffed with green goddess and dipped in tempura batter. The finished product could then be dipped in plum, terriyaki, and spicey cocktail sauces. It is a slow process, but you never feel rushed. Service was available when you needed it--more dipping sauce or whatever you needed--by a very enthusiastic wait staff. Dessert was wonderful--dark chocolate and chambord fondue. I highly recommend this location and will go again soon!"

  • "Had an amazing dinner with my girlfriend! We love the Melting Pot although we only seem to make it there once a year. Last year we had a table on Lover's Lane, this year we were in the main dining area. I recommend requesting Lover's Lane when making a reservation it is a much more intimate setting if dining for two. Great experience, will be going back soon!"

  • "Fondue - Best part of the meal and the experience. The cheese tasted awesome but I wish there were more to dip besides bread chunks and generic vegetables 30 minutes later Salad - could have done without. 30 minutes later Main course - we both got surf and turf. Way too much food for two people... It wasn't good but we felt obligated to eat all of it since it was so expensive and it wouldn't make sense to take home.. Lobster was absolutely terrible, steak and mushroom ravioli were okay. Most of the dipping sauces were gross. 30 minutes later We got cookies and cream dessert. Sauce was too thick and we were too full to enjoy it. Definitely not worth the money, but if I ever went back I would only get the fondue and dessert."
