We went to melting pot for dessert to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary it was the perfect romantic dessert setting. They gave us a private booth where the 2 of us could enjoy our chocolate fondue and just spend a romantic night together. We absolutely love coming to melting pot for a special dessert.

I have dined here before so there was no big surprise, but others in my party found it confusing. We had a very good waiter who patiently explained the whole dining experience to us carefully. Manager and waiter stopped by frequently to ask if we needed anything and quickly supplied more chopped apples for the cheese fondue! Two points I would definitely warn others about are 1) it is expensive and 2) do not expect to eat and run; leave plenty of time for the entire dinner experience. If you do not have two hours to enjoy your dinner, then save for another time. I am planning to just go for the chocolate fondue dessert next time. The high booths are very nice because there is no noise or conversations carrying. Everything was delicious.

The food and service at the Melting Pot has been very good every time I've been there. This time I had a coupon to use, which was nice because they are a little pricey for everyday. I went there for lunch with a friend to celebrate a birthday, and we liked the pace and relaxed atmosphere.

We always heard good things about the Melting Pot but, were disappointed. I guess we didn't know what to expect and with high expectations we were a bit let down. I guess it wasn't what we thought it would be. The food was fine but we didn't know we had to cook it. Oh, well. I guess you learn by experience...

extremely SLOW service, unable to track down waitress to request simple things like more water, additional dippers, and by the time we did, cheese was burnt, she forgot an item, took over 10 minutes to bring back, waited excessively long for next course, salad, etc, heard other customers complaining as well about the waiting, servers apologized to them but ours did not even acknowledge our wait time, chocolate cold, also disappointed with the menu changes since our last visit (no carrots for cheese, no potatoes (?!?!) with meal, no cheesecake for chocolate), salads were much smaller as well; normally would recommend but not after this experience...pretty disappointing

1st visit had no idea what to expect just hubby and I out for a kid free meal. Seated at a 2 person booth secluded from everyone else. A bit disarming you couldnt see who/what was coming around corner until they were in front of yummy we dipped and scraped the pot dry. The house salad with tangy house dressing was awesome so we were very much looking forward to the entree. I got ravioli, filet and chicken. My husband ordered filet, sausage and teriyaki sirloin. Our pot was the seasoned court bouilon. Next time we'll order a different cooking style. We didnt have dessert im not a chocolate person. Only way experience could be better is if they had peanut butter fondue as a dessert option

My husband and I needed a quiet dinner for two after spending a week with the grandkids. The Melting Pot was perfect. You are enclosed in your own little space with lighting that you can customize. The food experience was a lot of fun, and using the fondue timer on the website make cooking easier. Our waitress Angelica was the best!

Although I thoroughly enjoyed the food at the melting pot (we went for dessert), our waitress was not the best; maybe even one of the worst I've ever had. She was not very happy to see me and my two other friends as we came in. We are only teenagers so I can see how some waitresses would be bothered but they can't make assumptions right away. The three of us got one tray of food to share while the table across from us had three people as well yet they got to two at start. Also, not once did she offer us another drink. Overall the bus boy was nicer than our server and spent more time talking to us. Very dissapointed with the service.

My wife had never been here and I hadn't been to The Melting Pot in > 10 years. The waiter's service was excellent as he explained everything you needed to know, including with my wife's gluten allergy. If you've never done this it's worth experiencing. The only caution, don't if you're in a rush. It's not your typical 1.25 hour or less dining experience; you're going through multiple courses but it's well worth it.

My husband and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary by having lunch at the Melting Pot in Warrington, PA. Our server was wonderful, prompt, and conscientious. He even gave us a cute candle with dessert to wish us a happy anniversary. We would definitely recommend the Afternoon Delight. The portions and options are superb. We especially enjoyed that we were offered more of certain foods like the desserts, fruits, and vegetables. The atmosphere was a little too dark for us, but other than that, all was excellent. Actually after our eyes adjusted, we enjoy the quiet and romantic mood that the restaurant provided. My husband and I had a fabulous time during our anniversary lunch; we will definitely dine at the Melting Pot again

Food was very good. Everyone was nice and the service was good. My only complaint was it was very, very expensive and it did not appear you got a lot of food for that price. Also, they slipped in extra charges in the bill without establishing that up front. For example, they charge extra for the sauces you cook the main dishes in. I would think something like that would be part of the dinner price. I noticed it and brought it to the waiter's attention and he removed the charges. Overall a nice experience but definitely not an every week indulgence.

While I have had many good experiences at this restaurant, this visit we found the Alpine cheese to be rather bland. Our waiter was acceptable, but we found it odd that he was also the bartender while there were obviously enough waiters standing around. It took him quite a while to return and see if we needed anything. Overall this was the least enjoyable experience I have had here so far.

Restaurant is great for dessert but just too darn expensive. Took the kids to surprise them and spent $40 + tip to dip small pieces of fruit and other goodies into melted chocolate. They do bring out more to dip if you run out but when the 4 of us asked for more fruit, a little plate came out with 2 pineapple pieces, 3 slices of banana, and a few thinly sliced pieces of strawberry. Good for the wow factor for the kids but too costly for dessert

If you want a fantastic meal, go the Melting Pot. You will have to allow ample time to thoroughly enjoy your cheese sampling followed by a perfect-sized salad, and then you'll move on to your main course that offers a fine variety of "cooking styles" which you will have a choice of vegetables, poultry, beef, and seafood to cook. Of course, save room for the chocolate part of the amazing time. Expect excellent service, cleanliness, and much attention to detail! This is a special occasion spot so hopefully you have one soon to enjoy the Melting Pot experience.

Enjoyed a nice dinner with my wife for our anniversary. Fun to try together as we are fondue fans at home. Good food overall (we ordered the Fondue Feast for $39.95pp). Pricey without a Groupon or other discount though, honestly. Evaluating total price for this dinner with others we've had elsewhere in same price range. In retrospect, having walked back through the restaurant on our way out, we probably would have liked a larger table than the little corner-cove hideaway for two that we were seated at. We also noted the music in that seating area was all 80's ballads and louder than it should have been - beyond ambience and felt outdated (preferable: Miles Davis or classic mellow dinner jazz mix). Overall, not a bad experience though.

Party of 7, I had to sit with the on/off burners at my knees, had to get up every time the burners went off/on, several times during the meal. Salads were wilted, 2 small bowls were served for the vegetables for 7 people. One 2 fondue bowls served 7 people, way too tight, felt we were all fighting to get the fondue fork in the fondue. $7 for soda including a refill, then charged $3 for coffee for the same soda person. Felt restaurant nickeled and dimed the meal. Could have gone to a much more upscaled restaurant and paid the same price. Not a good value for the money.

This was our first time to The Melting Pot and we were a little skeptical... paying to cook your own food? It is on the higher side and we probably will only go once or twice a year because of it but it was worth it! You get a ton of food and every bit of it is delicious. Next time we won't do the 4 course meal unless we share. The ambiance is nice - fairly quiet, not bright, we had a little back section all to ourselves. Our waiter was really friendly and walked us through the whole process.
