The food not bad but it is raw seafood, meat and vegetables that you cook yourself at the table. For what you get (i.e., not food cooked by a great chef), it is very overpriced. $216 for three after leaving a 20% tip.

Went for a birthday celebration and we had fun, but it's too too long to eat. It's a 3 hour event and you cook your own food. It gets cumbersome for a group. Better suited for a couple and just dessert. It's also very pricey for the amount of food and quality. Only one salad was good and they are small! Service was good not great. Very unlikely to go again. It's a one time experience.

Very expensive and you get very little food. You leave there hungry. The service was slow. The waiter couldn't open the bottle of wine and ended up splattering it all over me. He did apologize. I felt bad for him. We have all been there. The only reason we went was because my 11 year old daughter (who is oblivious to the cost) likes the experience.

I took my sister for her birthday (she's never been there before). Everything was great. Food was perfect and they even brought her out a chocolate-covered strawberry on a cute happy birthday plate. Nicolette was our waitress and awesome! Very friendly and funny - I haven't had a great waitress like that anywhere in as long as I can remember!

The food was good as usual, but the service was awful. It usually appears as though there isn't enough wait staff and Friday night it was absolutely true. The manager did a nice job handling the situation after I complained two times. The duration of the meal was at least 2.5 hours - unacceptable.

I was disappointed in our 11/7 visit. Our waitress was very nice, but seemed harried. We ordered salads, cheese&choc fondue.Service was a bit slow-we were there for almost 2 hours. Our fondue came out first, then our salads. In the past it was the other way around. The salads were very small and ok at best.It was my son's bday and usually they will write 'happy bday' on a plate with lit candles and come out singing. This was not done-our waitress brought out our choc fondue and put a candle in a square of pound cake and lit it and left the table. We've celebrated bdays here before & it was very different and more festive. There were many other tables celebrating bdays too & they got the plate w/ the writing & candles. Not too happy with this visit.

Been here many times. Lover's Lane..great idea...BUT light over table shines in eyes (should be lower position)even though dimmer is excellent. Ceiling light in walkway next to you shines too bright taking away romantic atmosphere trying to create. Perhaps they can be dimmed OR turned so light will shine toward wall so waiters can see! Usually have no complaints with food but Beef was tough, not edible and chicken so good. Shrimp was great, spinach-artichoke ravioli were surprisingly good. Dark Choc Fondue always good. House Salad excellent. I note that you have cut back on quantity of dipping vegetables. Love Fondues and Restaurant in general!

This was my boyfriend's first visit to a Melting Pot restaurant. Given it was Halloween night, the dining room was nearly empty, which was perfect for our needs. We were able to talk with each other without raising our voices to be heard, and we had the full attention of the wait staff. The four course meal was served with a flight of wine, and timed perfectly so we didn't feel rushed between courses, nor did we feel we had to wait long for the next item. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

My wife and I came here to celebrate our marriage. From the quick seating time to the great service, we had a wonderful time. We chose to do the four-course meal and it was all delicious and satisfying. We especially enjoyed the teriyaki beef and the dessert. My wife also enjoyed their cocktails. We'll be headed back to celebrate next year!

I took my college age daughter and roommate here and they had an ok experience. I did not. First of all the rooms are all dark and depressing. I did not like anything about this not the salad, sauces, meal, or ambience. The salmon portions were tiny, the tuna and beef were average size. The bowl of vegetables was small and spicy. The sauces were not good, a few had the consistency of putty. When we left there were empty tables everywhere and it was empty yet there were 15 people waiting for tables at the reception area?

We discovered this restaurant for our 40th anniversary and were very pleased to have gotten a romantic seat for two in "lover's alley!" The food was delicious and the server was very cordial. Because of the nature of the fondue, allow several hours to properly enjoy the experience.

Our family of 6 go here twice a year for my wifes and youngest son's birthday. Our kids love it! Food was good and the local brew Prism Red Zone with cinnamon sugar on the rim was outstanding! I know, sounds a little fru-fru with the cinnamon sugar but...hey,why not?! Would have never thought to do that myself. Overall everything was delicious.

I have dined here before so there was no big surprise, but others in my party found it confusing. We had a very good waiter who patiently explained the whole dining experience to us carefully. Manager and waiter stopped by frequently to ask if we needed anything and quickly supplied more chopped apples for the cheese fondue! Two points I would definitely warn others about are 1) it is expensive and 2) do not expect to eat and run; leave plenty of time for the entire dinner experience. If you do not have two hours to enjoy your dinner, then save for another time. I am planning to just go for the chocolate fondue dessert next time. The high booths are very nice because there is no noise or conversations carrying. Everything was delicious.

We always heard good things about the Melting Pot but, were disappointed. I guess we didn't know what to expect and with high expectations we were a bit let down. I guess it wasn't what we thought it would be. The food was fine but we didn't know we had to cook it. Oh, well. I guess you learn by experience...

extremely SLOW service, unable to track down waitress to request simple things like more water, additional dippers, and by the time we did, cheese was burnt, she forgot an item, took over 10 minutes to bring back, waited excessively long for next course, salad, etc, heard other customers complaining as well about the waiting, servers apologized to them but ours did not even acknowledge our wait time, chocolate cold, also disappointed with the menu changes since our last visit (no carrots for cheese, no potatoes (?!?!) with meal, no cheesecake for chocolate), salads were much smaller as well; normally would recommend but not after this experience...pretty disappointing

1st visit had no idea what to expect just hubby and I out for a kid free meal. Seated at a 2 person booth secluded from everyone else. A bit disarming you couldnt see who/what was coming around corner until they were in front of yummy we dipped and scraped the pot dry. The house salad with tangy house dressing was awesome so we were very much looking forward to the entree. I got ravioli, filet and chicken. My husband ordered filet, sausage and teriyaki sirloin. Our pot was the seasoned court bouilon. Next time we'll order a different cooking style. We didnt have dessert im not a chocolate person. Only way experience could be better is if they had peanut butter fondue as a dessert option
