We went for our anniversary and it was a wonderful experience. Just the right amount of food and the wait staff times every course perfectly. They are knowledgeable and make recommendations and accommodations to suit your needs. The only thing I would change is the ambiance. We were there for a romantic dinner and the diners two tables over were kind of noisy and we heard all about their lives, their vacation, and her current diet. Maybe they could sit certain diners in certain areas. He was very attentive to our table of 8 and even tolerated our little 3-year old daughter for the 2 hours we were there.
I would highly recommend the Spinach Artichoke cheese dip...excellent! Steak lovers entree was very satisfying also.

This year while on vacation we brought the card & went to the one in VA Beach. The place is nice & the food was delicious. I've read reviews of people complaining of spending a good deal of money to cook their own food, but let me tell you-that's why we go! The main course comes with such a variety that we wouldn't (& couldn't) cook at home. The one we ordered had lobster tail, shrimp, chicken, teriyaki steak & beef medallions. We also didn't find the price bad at all with ordering the Fondue for 2, which included all 4 courses for just under $80. I think the waitress was new, because service was a little slow. Took about 10 minutes to get our drinks after she came to the table for the first time (after being there 5 minutes). I'm glad they enjoyed it but I wouldn't go back unless I won the lottery. Four people got the four course and 3of us got a meal and a salad and one person got a $5.50 salad. The gratuity was added in and it came to $280 with tax. No one had any alcohol and one of those meals was a child's meal. I ordered the "choose 3 "for $23.95 and it was 9 bite sized pieces of raw meat that you cook on a skewer in boiling broth. It may be worth going once for a special occasion but only I you don't mind spending some money. It's romantic, fun and every time we have been our server was funny, entertaining and willing to do what ever we needed extremely fast. This was our very first trip ever to a Melting Pot and definitely worth it. I do, however, think it was way too pricy. I was not completely full when I left and we paid $100 for dinner. You are only allotted 2 skewers per person and it takes too long to cook your food that way, and what you start with gets cold before you are finished fixing everything. Overall though, it was an awesome experience and I do not regret it for a second. We wanted some time to relax and unwind, we spent 2.5 hours eating and reflecting and never felt rushed by your staff, Thank you!!! Everything was outstanding, the food was awesome, the service was second to none, the entire experience was fantastic,espicially our waitress, Bridgette. She was so nice, patient, really cared that our visit was a good one. I felt she went out of her way to make sure we fully understood everything that was going on. WHEN we come back we will request Bridgette, she's the BEST. Thank you Bridgette for making our anniversary even more special.

Over the years, the customers seem to be wearing increasingly casual attire, when I went the other night a group had on jeans, sweatshirts and toboggans (beanies) and the waitstaff isn't as formal either. The food was delicious as always, and i made in the reservations about the bday celebration they did make my girlfriend feel very special with everyone wishing her happy birthday from the hostess to the bus boy, and adding a candle to the desert. There was a slight annoyance with the bass and music from next door echoing through the walls and right into our table.
