The Melting Pot - TulsaUnique diningI like the Melting Pot when I go to Tulsa on occasion. It's different and offers a different experience. It's nice for a group or just a couple. They're very good about explaining how everything will go and what to expect. Our waiter, Bjorn, was terrific. Everyone at our table ordered the 4 course meal. We shared the Bacon and Brie to start our meal. Each guest ordered a salad and entree choice and we shared the Flaming Turtle chocolate fondue for dessert. My Girlfriend go there for our romantic getaways. It is the only place we go. The food is excellent as is the champagne list. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. Everything was so fresh and she was able to answer all of our questions. We were there to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and nothing went wrong. The manager, Billy came by and checked up on us towards the end of our meal. It was absolutely perfect. We had read online and had a basic understanding of the ordering process before arriving. The service was very nice, and attentive. The food was amazing, we enjoyed everything we ordered. We went with the 4 course, which I suggest for 1st timers. We selected the Wisconsin cheese fondue for the appetizer ( very good, port wine based ), then the strawberry almond salad, for entree we both got the Coq au Vin seasonings with Land & Sea, and for desert ying and yang. Everything was great. The prices were okay (especially for a special dinner).
