Our Scottsdale restaurant is easily accessible from the 101. About one mile West on Via De Ventura in the Commons at Hayden Plaza.

The modern yet warm casually elegant atmosphere sets the mood for a relaxing evening. The leisurely paced four-course experience begins with a cheese fondue prepared table side. A fresh salad follows while your entrée pot heats up. You’ll simmer a variety of tantalizing meats, seafood and vegetables. Each morsel is hot, fresh and delicious and all entrées are accompanied by an array of dipping sauces to add to the flavorful fun. Chocolate fondue is the finale, all served with decadent dippers. Most make reservations for the four-course dining experience but more than a few have stopped by to satisfy that cheese fondue or chocolate craving.   • "We dine at the Melting Pot on Long Island often. On vacation, we found one in Scottsdale AZ and selected it because we are familiar with the menu and food. We were not disappointed. The same great selections and the same great tastes. Our server, Nick, was very attentive. My glass was never empty and he was checking every few minutes to see if we needed anything else. Top notch service. We were seated in a private, curtained booth which added a very intimate feel for the evening. This Melting Pot was a lot less noisy than our usual spot and made for a perfect evening."

  • "I always love going to The Melting Pot, especially for special occasions. Their servers are experienced and friendly and the food is always perfect. When I went to The Melting Pot the other day, however, it was interesting to see a balloon man walking around entertaining the kids. I had to ask myself if I was at Red Robin or a nice restaurant that I am paying a decent amount for. While trying to enjoy my dinner, I kept hearing "Do you want a lion, a hat, or a sludge hammer?!" This was a little disappointing and put a bad taste in my mouth. The next time I decide to go out for a special event and spend a good amount of money on a meal I might consider going somewhere else."

  • "I hadn't been to Melting Pot in about 14 years prior to our family dinner there. Back then I was unhappy with the low quality and quantity of food. Things have not changed. Understand that you go there for the experience of swishing your food in hot liquid, and not for a delicious meal expertly crafted by a professional kitchen. Be prepared for "upsells" to more expensive fondues, meats and cooking broths beyond the basic, which is already expensive to begin with. If you are fine with all this, then you can possibly have fun. I have to say that service was attentive and was the only thing to keep us from feeling utter disappointment over the entire meal."

  • "There should not be food on the curtains, the walls, and the condiment containers. It should also not be 20 min between entrees. First timers should be given recommendTions..the service was slow and uneducated on the menu. I wish I could get my money back. Ridiculously expensive for the quality if food."

  • "We had never been to this restaurant and not sure exactly how things would work. Frankly, the only reason we went is because we had a gift card! Our server Nick (excellent by the way) immediately got us up to speed and started us on our culinary adventure! We went with the 4 course special including first course - cheese fondue (we went with Fiesta which was marvelous) then to a salad (fresh and crisp) and then to the main course (we wanted to try a little bit of everything and it was all so good) and then on to the chocolate fondue (smores was beyond good!) We were there for 3 hours, but it went by so fast that we did not even realize! Truly a very special and fun evening."

  • "Didn't find the food all that great and didn't like having to cook my own meat. It just took to much time to eat. Our waitress was slow. Took like 20 minutes just to refill our waters and bring us more of the filet since we ordered the all you can eat package. It took us 2 and a half hours to eat our meal. Ridiculous, specially if you have kids. This resturant makes bank because the food/ value is waaaay off. I would only recommend once for the experience but I would never go back unless it was just for dessert"

Normally, a dining experience like this can take from one and a half to two hours but this time it took almost three hours!   • "The Gluten-Free options are minimal. The server was advised of our GF needs and was reminded at each course. The sauces came out & there was teriyaki as one of the sauces. Teriyaki is rarely if ever GF. I asked if it was and the server said "no". Had I eaten it, I could have become very ill. I appreciate you offering GF but the servers need to be better educated in knowing what is actually GF due to intolerances and not a dietary choice. Thank you."

  • "We had a romantic date night celebrating our birthday and Fathers day. Being our first time there it was great. The only issue I had was wanting a booth with a curtain but when we were sat I asked for it and the hostess had told me it wasnt possible because they were completely full. When we walked past them there were plenty available. I was actually kind of bummed because that was one of the perks I was looking forward too. Other than that our server and all the staff were very helpful and on top of everything. we had a great time."

This is somewhere you go when you have 3 to 3.5 hours available for a meal. If you are short on time, they now have a happy hour special with a limited menu that doesn't take as long.   • "This was our first time eating at the Melting Pot. We had to wait 15 min for our reserved table. We were told a group of 10 came in before us and that the servers were too busy with them to seat us and give us the best service. Our waiter was less than informative with cooking our food and helping us with the menu. It was so dark we used our cell phone light to see if our meat was cooked thoroughly also for a timer for cooking time. We noticed that other tables lights seemed to be brighter than ours. The staff seemed to cater to a large groups sitting next to us. For as much money as I spent on a dinner for 4 I think we should have felt just as important. The chocolate was delicious and was the only thing we liked about our evening."

  • "What lead me to write this review is that we came back to town, my co-worker Stephanie and I and hit up The Melting Pot for dinner on Father's Day. We tried to go somewhere fun in honor of our husbands that we were forced to leave home because of our work schedule. Not only was the food just as wonderful, service top notch, but the manager again knocked my socks off with his wonderfulness! Ivars not only remembered me from last time, but he e offered us beer samples from local breweries, told us the best places to eat where we can get them on tap and gave us gifts to take home to our husbands. How kind is that! You couldn't ask for a better manager. It is his engagement that will keep me coming back to his restaurant."

  • "We chose the 4 course meals, and the cheese fondue at the beginning was extremely tasty. It's a good thing our salad arrived when it did, or we could've happily eaten our fill of the bread dipped in cheese, and then not have enough room for the rest of the meal. The chocolate fondue dessert was delicious! We wanted to try each type of dessert to dip in the chocolate fondue, but were so full from the rest of the amazing meal, we couldn't eat at much dessert as we thought we could. The place is great. The service is great - the manager is personable and friendly and made us feel welcome."

  • "We came with our 2 friends for dessert... the dark chocolate was great!... all very nice... but I would have given a better rating on food if the strawberries and bananas were nicer looking... a firmer and bright fruit would have been nice - the banana bits on our tray were darkening and a bit too soft. At .59 cents a pound, you could do better. Strawberries were smallish and unimpressive... of all the fruits that a person would like to sink their teeth into, it's the strawberry.... just my take.. thanks!"

  • "My friend Zach and I stumbled in to The Melting Pot on a random Tuesday early in the month of July and it was LADIES NIGHT!!! How fun! The manager was so kind as to offer the special to both of us...even tho one of us was not a lady. The fondue was amazing. Salad fresh. Cheese course was wonderfully cheesey...and the meat/chocolate courses were amazing. The biggest surprise of the dinner was the restaurant manager Ivars Melbardis! He came over to our table, thanked us for coming in and inquired about why were were in town and how often we would be back. He asked that we come back in and see him again if we get the chance."

  • "Not being familiar with The Melting Pot chain, the whole concept sounded weird and kinda retro, but thought we would try something different on our last day in Phoenix. On the positive side, it's good to see exactly what is in your food. The cheese fondue was great, it's hard to go wrong with a good fondue. The entrees were fine, but we found the dipping sauces didn't really complement our choices (white shrimp and ahi tuna). But overall we enjoyed the experience."

  • "My Husband and I brought our daughter & son in law for their Birthdays. KC was our server and she was terrific. Her joy and knowledge of the restaurant was so above the top the entire experience was that much better for her being our server. The food was fresh and served in a beautiful style. The restaurant was so accommodating to us as one was a vegetarian and we needed a two pot table. They moved us to a different table and all was perfect. We would certainly go back and are already looking for an occasion to do so. Thank you for making our celebration so wonderful"

The cheese was super thin, and when we asked if they could make it differently, we were insulted and told apparently we do not know how fondue is supposed to look or taste. Drinks were completely forgotten.. Then, as we were paying, once again the server and manager came by to give their condescending remarks.. Horrible management as well. "
