  • "This place is great for special occasions. I had to chaperone a lr so we went to eat beforehand. I didn't realize the process would take so long and the waiter and manager worked together to speed things up. They also called a cab for me at my request."

  • "Great waitress, knowledgable about menu, explained all the options, able to easily do substitutions for foods we didn't eat. Clean restaurant. A bit loud, but not annoying."

  • "My first Melting Pot experience in February was with colleagues. After coming home and describing it for my husband, we decided to go during vacation. We ate early, a romantic dinner for two and since I had been before I described everything. We also looked at the menu at home. We had the 4 course platter- bacon & gorgonzola cheese, pear & gorgonzola salad, entrée was steak cooked in mojo, and chocolate dulce de leche for dessert. By joining Club Fondue, I got a 6-pack of chocolate covered strawberries free! I recommend this for a romantic date!"

  • "Server was very nice and helpful. Food was good... salmon didn't get any flavor from the pot and turned out bland. The cheese filet and shrimp were delicious. The booth we were in was very cramped underneath there was enough table space and benches were maybe a little big but there was no way to sit in the booth comfortably. The pot also felt very far away."

  • "I recently took my wife to The Melting Pot for our Anniversary. I had no idea what we were in for, as I always heard fondue was dipping things in cheese. We were pleasantly surprised with the menu options! She had a Surf and Turf, while I opted for a Cajun meal. The atmosphere, service, and food were all AWESOME! Yes, a little pricey (I think the final bill was a little over $100 including tip) but well worth it for trying something new. I strongly recommend this restaurant to any guy trying to impress their significant other with a nice quiet and romantic evening. We have already told all of our friends about our dinner, and will definitely be back."

  • "My husband and I have gone through the years for special occasions and can't say enough about this place!!! We have never had a bad experience. The other night when we went their was a table near us that was filled two adults celebrating their anniversary and talked very loudly during the entire meal but it wasn't an issue just very entertaining. We felt like we were eating with them. Overall, fun fun experience!!!! Will be back again for another occasion!!!"

  • "The melting pot has always been a special occasion resturant for me due to higher priced foods. It is one of my favorite restaurants and I always enjoying dining there. The experience of this restaurant is the best part! It is completely different from most atmospheres as you get to cook you own food. I love the relaxed feeling of this place as you are able to cook and eat at your own pace. I have always felt that the servers were extremely friendly and more than helpful explaining all the different menu items and options. I would definitely recommend this restaurants to others."

  • "My wife and I visited the melting pot on Friday 02/21. It was a great experience. Our server Morgan gave us a great welcome and was extremely helpful. She helped my wife pick the best cocktail and recommended all the best meats to chose for our fondue. We have eaten in lots of restaurants and this has to be one of the best. We both had a lovely salad to start then we had our fondue. We both had the sirloin steak my wife had the chicken and the mushrooms while I had the pork and the duck. The portions were good sized and we had four vegetables to complete our mains. The desert we chose was the chocolate supreme which was out of this world. Strawberries, pineapple and marshmallows to dip into lovely hot chocolate was just heaven."

  • "This restaurant is very nice...high backed private booths, soft music, pretty art, attentive service...but you pay a hefty price for it. You can't split anything, so if you want an appetizer, you both pay about $10 (that's a $20 appetizer). Entrees are @$30. Dessert is the same way - no splitting. $10 each. What do you get for your money? I realize it's an experential restaurant, but when you break it down, my date just paid $30 for a few pieces of meat & veggies that he cooked in broth himself. I only got an appetizer and dessert (no entree) and my date got the package (app, salad, entree, dessert). We drank water, no wine. Our bill with tip was $75. We had a good time and a good meal but won't be back because of the price."

  • "We came in and were greeted by one of the managers (James and Josh, you could be twins!!) he remembered us from our last visit...in October!... And remembered where we always like to sit, off to the back where it's quiet. Service was prompt and wonderful, and the food was absolutely wonderful as well. My fiancée and I got for most of our special occasions, and it's always a great experience with great service."

  • "While we were somewhat skeptical about "fondue dining", we ended up being very pleasantly surprised at the whole experience and especially the ambiance and service. Our server, Kristin, was outstanding and explained everything including all the options and "how to" AND she was very attentive and pleasant. Additionally, the manager made his rounds and wanted to make sure everything OK. BTW, during "restaurant week" they introduced a new dessert that was outstanding---Creme Brulee!"

  • "I had visited the Pot when it first opened and was eager to give it a second chance, since I felt I didn't "get it" the first time. Our server did a great job explaining the proceedings. When the entree arrived, it looked skimpy (we went on Restaurant Week so I thought they may have cut back) but it was more than enough and the dessert (chocolate fondue) was nothing short of spectacular and we actually left some behind. The restaurant is all booths and beautifully lit; the ambiance is very romantic. Yet the act of cooking together is entertaining and thus it lends itself to groups and people who may have trouble sustaining a conversation. (Hey, it happens) Know that the bill could become eyepopping if you accept add-ons, so...be careful!"

  • "Cheese fondue was fabulous! We had the spinach and artichoke cheese and would definitely get it again. The main course was steak, chicken and pork cooked in broth. So good! Dessert was Creme Brulee chocolate and it was to die for ! A perfect amount of food with no waste."

  • "Two adults having a private birthday celebration, I wouldn't think to put into an open room with a child's birthday party of a dozen people, but they thought it was appropriate. The room off from the bar traps noise, so if you don't expect to be a noisy party then sit somewhere else. Also, the menu has a few less options now. I used to thoroughly enjoy this place, but it didn't feel as nice last time. It's still a unique and clean restaurant."

  • "A cooking class! What Fun night That was for me. To order in A different style. It was very nice for a change also to basically prepare your own meal fondue style was amazing. The food was good & the place is gorgeous & the server (Gina) as well. But If you like a lot of food be prepared to spend & few more dollars to get full. But we loved it"

  • "The Melting Pot is a chain, but that doesn't lower its standards. A full meal, with serving staff bringing pots of cheese, or oils, or chocolates, then the dipping, then the removal of those hot pots, to be replaced by new ones -- this takes about two hours. This is not a place to rush to, for a quick meal. The best courses are the cheeses, and the chocolates. Excellent service, by well-trained staff."

  • "Exactly what you'd expect from a fondue restaurant. Nice for multi-course meals or just grabbing a snack/dessert. Nice atmosphere, and a choice of various seating options. Service staff was friendly and knowledgeable of menu. We tend to go for special occasions, and we are never disappointed."

Very private dining made it more romantic and the server was great, he was personable and on top of everything his timing was spot on..."

  • "The lightening could of been brighter...I know you were creating a mood, but very hard to see our menu's & read what we were ordering. If you raised the lightening to few degrees higher would of made the experience much better. Had a great x & loved the food."

  • "My wife and I had an amazing experience. She is a vegetarian and I am not. The staff made our meal and experience even more enjoyable by tailoring the menu and meal to both of our needs. No compromise at all. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends. Keep in mind this is The Melting Pot and it is considered fine dining. ( $$$ )"

  • "We took my 17 year old and his girlfriend to dinner. The service was efficient, but we felt a little rushed when we first got the menu. Once we got it going it was fun. It made it a little easier to have an activity while conversing with 2 teens! We all ordered the 4 course options and Overall we enjoyed it. Entrees are pricey for what you get, but I'd go again for the chocolate fondue alone! We were stuffed when we left. Fun thing to try at least once, but I think the kids especially liked it"

  • "Both food and service exceeded our expectations. We chose the Melting Pot for a break from the traditional Southern cuisine that we had been enjoying on our vacation trip to the area. This turned out to be a good decision. The waiter was very knowledgeable and assisted us in selecting menu items that met our tastes. Definitely a place to enjoy an excellent, leisurely dinner."
