The Melting Pot - RaleighromanticI went here to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday. The set the table up really nice and sat us in a secluded area. The server was very helpful and the food was great.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMStill a nice place to eatService was a bit slow even for a date place. I know that servers aren't supposed to hover and all but our drink glasses stayed empty much of the time. Maybe they were overwhelmed during the holiday but the privacy the tables afford means you can't tell.
They've also changed the menu to a more individual type. Not a fan. It's a touch odd to go here by yourself or go dutch. Maybe they're catering to business meeting types? Still a strange choice. Food was good but fondue is fondue, service and ambience are the hallmarks of the place.
Still had a good time and still on my list of places to visit when in town with family.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat nightIt wasn't busy, so it wasn't noisy which was awesome. My husband and I were celebrating mothers day. The waitors were great, they met our every needs and our food was really good. The flaming turtle is the best dessert!5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyable EveningWe found the food very good and the atmosphere quiet and enjoyable. A 2 hour meal went by without being rushed and the food was definitely rememberable. The waitstaff provided the right amount of attention throughout the evening.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMfun to play with your foodCooking your food fondue style is so much fun. Get different cooking styles so you can try different flavors if your in a group. Can be a great evening with friends or a romantic adventure for two. Enjoy the experience and tastes.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMNew menu rocksTried the new Melting Pot menu this past week and it was nice. The options seem more plainly written and I find it easier to switch out entrees for dietary restrictions5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food!Love this place first time here and food was worth it! Wouldn't think much about a fondue place but this was off the charts!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ServiceGreat service and very helpful management team! Everyone was very friendly4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMMenu changed since our lastMenu changed since our last visit - we were pleased to be able to order individual entrees with the 4 course option. This is a great place for a small group (we had 4 adults in our party). First time we sat at a table with two fondue pots....loved it! Good food and great service.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMEaster Sunday at Melting PotMy fiancée and I head here every once in a while. Our families were out of town and they had an Easter special that was too good to pass up. Three-course meal and bottomless mimosas for less than 30 dollars per person. Food was to the same standard it always is. Our server was Aaron and it was at least our second time having him. He was charming, funny and quick with the refills (Which is especially nice when it's bottomless mimosas). We will be back!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGood place for any occasion.Good place for any occasion. We make a point to eat here a few times a year, and this time was just as good as we remembered it always being. Great signature cocktails and the fun of fondue. Love how it makes you eat at the pace you should anyway! Would always recommend to anyone, just make sure you allocate the 2.5-3 hours needed for this dinning experience if you plan to have all four courses.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AManniversary dinnerWhen I made our reservations I mentioned that it was our first time dining at The Melting Pot and we were celebrating our 9th anniversary. We were seated at a private, intimate table. Our server cleverly made reference to our anniversary while explaining the menu and the fondue process. She recommended a perfect wine for our taste. The manager brought over an anniversary card which was a nice, personal touch. Our meal was both fun and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening!3/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
