Diner Reviews
  • "Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. You do have to do the work; but that is the idea of fondue. The waiter was very attentive and recommended certain dishes. We really enjoyed everything about the experience."

  • "Having been an infrequent patron of Melting Pot restaurants in many locatins over the years, I am happy that there is one in both the cities I spend a lot of time in. I always enjoy sharing the fun of fondue with friends, the variety of food choices, and the longer time to spend engaging in conversation and fun. On this visit to the Palm Beach Gardens site, our meal was excellent and the service was outstanding (Nikki was awesome). You do need to get familiar with the various tables as some are a bit like cubbyholes with no view or atmosphere."

  • "It was a good one time experience , the place is very comfortable but the food is pretty small sizes. It is very expensive to cook your food yourselves. The service is good but I would like iF the main plate is already cooked and we can enjoy with the entrance and the deserve. The food is extremely too small."

  • "This was a fun experience and we had a great time!! Slight issue with our waiter disappearing and not re-appearing as fast as we needed him. The two tables next to us almost didn't have any alone time with as often as their waiter was there checking on them. I ran out of water once and shared my boyfriends. Then during dinner, we ran out of one dipping sauce we would have loved more of for our steak. We waited almost 20 minute actually before cooking our last few pieces hoping, but eventually just wanted to finish dinner and get to dessert. Justin was very personable, and was a big help when needing suggestions but those two little times we wished he had done a drive-by to check on us....would have made this a 5 star instead of 4."

  • "My sister and I visited to celebrate our birthdays. Our server was friendly and skilled at making the fondue, and it was obvious she loved her job. We had the four course experience, and loved every course. The classic cheese fondue was perfect, seasoned with nutmeg and garlic. We could have done just the green apples and bread, though, the vegetables didn't really go with cheese fondue. The salad was delicious. Last time I went my husband wanted the oil cooking. This time my sister chose coq au vin and it was wonderful. I love fresh vegetables and the mushrooms were wonderful, but the potatoes never fully cooked and we didn't care for the broccoli. The dessert fondue was great, but I would have preferred just fruit and marshmallows."

  • "The Melting Pot always has such a great selection of meal options. I love that you can customize what you would like and it forces you to eat slow. The service was a little disappointing this time as we had to wait quite a bit between each meal. We arrived at 5:45 and did not leave until 8:00. However, the company was good so it was not a big deal."

  • "Great 3 course fondue with lots of entree and dipping sauce choices in a moderate price range, with a private, relaxed atmosphere. We also enjoyed some delicious cocktails and impeccable service."

  • "Our server was extraordinary and made the experience special for my four tween grandchildren."

  • "Party of 6 with reservations. Right from the check in, we were treated as 2nd class citizens, herded to a round booth with only 2 burners for 6 people to cook from. All crammed into the booth. Only 2 of our party had previously dined at a Melting pot the rest were newbies. Us newbies were provided with limited explanation on how to order- but given very strict orders we only had 2 cooking oil or broth selections. Choose wisely! I had concerns with the situation as I don't eat fish and didn't want to have my food cooked in a pot with any fish-so that limited me with my choice of how to cook as well as all the other fish lovers. Cooking was challenging as the pot temperature dropped as more skewers were added-3 1/2 to 4 hrs of pure torture."

  • "The Melting Pot chain is one of our favorite. When we travel to a new city we always do one dinner at the Melting Pot (if there is one). This one in Palm Beach Gardens was very nice but the service was a little slower than we are used to."

  • "We ate here for our one year anniversary. The food was awesome, the wine list was great, our waitress was wonderful and the manager could not have been any nicer. I would recommend this place to everyone. Don't forget to take home the sweet onion salad dressing! Yum!"

  • "We celebrated at the Melting Pot for my birthday. My husband and I decided we would bring our two boys (ages 11 & 7) since they have never been to the Melting Pot. The experience was fantastic. Kevin, our server, was excellent. He explained everything to the boys and really involved them in the dining experience. The magician that was there for Family Night was also awesome! The night was truly amazing and we will definitely come back again."

  • "Went last week for dinner & it was so perfect we went again this week. We had an inexperienced server this time. She forgot portions of our food that I had to ask for. She smiled & said "I thought your kids wouldn't like vegetables" In response to our missing veggie cup. Few other mishaps occurred throughout the evening. The worse was when she turned up the oil too high & it began to splatter really bad. It burned both kids.I told her & instead of offering ice or ointment I had to flag her back down when she came back & ask for burn spray. She of course didn't know if they had such a thing. Love the place however it really makes a difference which server you have as they really interact a lot with the whole dining experience."

  • "We had a 7:30 p.m. Reservation and we're not seated until around 8 p.m.. Our server who said his name was lucky was very polite, but the service was pretty bad. He forgot a few things like asking us what kind of cheese we wanted for our first appetizer. There were also times when we didn't see him for around 20 minutes and we were waiting for drinks multiple times.the atmosphere was excellent and the food was very good but the service kind of ruined our anniversary night."

  • "We frequent the Melting Pot at least once a year, usually for a special occasion (Valentine's Day, Birthday, Anniversary) and are always pleased with the experience. The best thing about this visit however (other than the food itself) was the service. We had a wonderful waitress (I believe her name was Katie) who was engaging, friendly and knew when to approach us and when to let us enjoy our meal. It's hard to find a server that is neither overly attentive nor grossly inattentive. Katie(?) walked the line perfectly. ..and one bit of advice. Try skipping the entree and just doing the cheese and dessert fondue with a salad. You end up enjoying each course a whole lot more."

  • "Even though I found everything to be a bit pricey, you truly are getting what you payed for here. The quality of the food, never mind the drinks, was out of this world. From the cheese fondue to the main course to the chocolate fondue, the quality AND quantity as well as variety is unmatched to any place I've ever been in."

  • "First time at melting pot. Chose valentines day for something fun and different. I have a picky boyfriend so I didn't tell him where we were going. He loved the whole experience. The servers were so nice and quick with service. Such a romantic atmosphere. I made a reservation and they sat us quickly. Had a memorable time."

  • "My hubby and I have gone twice and both times have had a great experience. The wait staff is great and do an amazing job of explaining the menu and answering questions. We don't usually have to wait more than five minutes to be seated since we have a reservation. I will definitely return!"

  • "Romantic evening out with superb service and great ambiance. The food was high quality and we loved the new menu choices. Only disappointment was a menu item highly touted on the website had been discontinued in January according to our server, but not removed from the web."

  • "Took my fiance for her first trip to the Melting Pot in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. It was a great trip, food has remained at the same high quality level since my last trip over five years ago. The waitstaff was helpful, quick with a smile and even quicker to bring a new drink. As always the fondue's were hot, tasty, and thoroughly explained. This is my go to for out of town visitors, picky eaters, or for that special occasion when one just wants something different. The 4 course meal is the only way to go, don't forget to try out the new signature drinks! They were tasty as well as half price from 4 - 7!"

  • "We went to the Melting Pot for our 8th anniversary and it was wonderful. Very romantic and great food and drinks. I highly reccomend it to anyone looking for a place with great ambiance and intimate dining. I made reservations online and said it was for our anniversary. When we arrived there was a happy anniversary card on our table from the Melting Pot! Nice touch!"

  • "We have been to Melting Pot locations all over American and this was the worst. We came for our anniversary dinner. We tried ordering two different bottles of wine and both times were told they didn't have it. For a restaurant like this, where people go for special occasions, I would expect a decent wine list. The best they have is La Crema, which is a joke. The cheddar cheese was thick and rubbery, nothing like what we normally have and there was no fresh cracked pepper-something every other location has. Had we not known what to expect, it might not have seemed so bad, but it was just a bunch of small things that really ended up ruining our evening."
