There is not one bad thing on the menu.
We started with the fiesta cheese fondue which was excellent. The spinach and artichoke is still my favorite though. Regardless, we thoroughly cleaned the cheese out of the pot.
For the entrees, we each selected 3 different meats so share. I thought the duck was fantastic - I've never really had duck so wanted to try something new. And everything else was just as delectable.
Finally for dessert we had the bananas foster chocolcate fondue. The only word for this dessert is scrumptious. I am sure that our nearest neighbors could hear our sigs of pleasure as we ate this yummy concoction.

We particularly enjoy the desserts -- this time we tried the Turtle, which was wonderful. It is a bit pricey to eat the four courses and include two mixed drinks. We would definitely return more often if the prices were slightly lower. We did the four course meal and had the spinach and artichoke cheese fondue which was fantastic. The vegetable broth was just fine to cook our meat in. The variety of dipping sauces were delicious. We had the turtle for dessert and while it was good, I think I'd try something else next time. Come hungry if you do the four course meal, there is a lot of food to go around. The only complaints I have is that the pot is not very close and I had to practically stand in my seat to put anything in the fondue. Another complaint is that for dessert we had the milk chocolate. It was the worst I have ever had. It was so thinned out that it would not even stay on anything that was dipped in it. I was really disappointed in this. You would think that when you spend over $100.00 at a restaurant one would at least have the best chocolate for the dessert menu. For this reason I don't know how often I would go back. We spent a lot time sitting there waiting and waiting. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was good. The only draw back was where our table was located. We were in the second two person booth by the kitchen door. The noise from the kitchen was very annoying, even with our curtain closed. If I was seated there ever again, I would ask to move immediately. My aunt and uncle had never been there before, but I could tell they really liked the experience. They had not been to a fondue restaurant in years. Their memories of fondue restaurants had more to do with a smoky room with pots of oil. We had double boilers at our table with herbed broth. No oil. We also had the best service! I never had to wait to have my glass filled. The waitress was good about providing decaf coffee for my aunt and uncle. The meats, vegetables and fruits were prepared for us to skewer and cook. We selected the 4-course meal and liked the variety of sauces provided during our entree course. My daughter chose your restaurant for lunch to celebrate her 13th birthday. We had a wonderful mother/daughter outing and it not only allowed us to have a great lunch but provided the time and opportunity for uninterrupted conversation.

It is an hour and a half drive but it is worth it. I always enjoy my meal when eating here. It is my favorite restaurant. Our server was expceptional, as always. The Melting Pot in Minneapolis seems to like low sodium substitutes for flavor.
