This was the first time my wife has been to a fondue restaurant and she was very impressed with the service, food, and over all environment. It actually exceeded our expectations and our server was fantastic. He made suggestions and was very knowledgeable with everything in the menu and on the wine list. We arrived 20 min early for our reservation and they had no problems seating us. Our server was excellent, and even let us change a mistake we made in ordering our dessert fondue. Luckily our family has a weird sense of humor. I love the slow pace of dining with fondue. The wife and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and were deciding between the Melting Pot, STK, Canoe and Fogo de Chao. I cant imagine a better dining experience. This was our first time there and we did the 4 course meal. Simply outstanding for every course!!!! I am a big guy, weighing roughly 340, and one of the highlights was the salad!!!! There is however room for improvement. The lights very so dim that we were offered a flashlight to read the menu. Then we had to switch the table because the fondue burner did not work. Other than that they did everything to make up for it and treated us with respect.

This time, with a little bit of change in the menu, it was even better than usual.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMMelting Pot Kennesaw has changedMelting Pot Kennesaw has changed their menu you can now order based on how much you want vs. people at the table. 3 of us at dinner only 2 wanted cheese - no one wanted salad and my husband and I split an entree and my son had one to himself then by the time dessert rolled around we got chocolate for 2 which was plenty. Food was very very good we got the cheddar fondue for the cheese and I think it my second favorite - Wisconsin trio is my favorite. we got the pick 3 entree. All I can say is the food was very very good. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was very knowledgeable plus very friendly and was a great help in managing through the new choices. The servers are always AWESOME! They always go above and beyond to not only make sure you have a good experience but they are also friendly and genuine! It was great value and we enjoyed a very relaxing evening with our adult aged son who lives in the Kennesaw area. Our server, Aaron was very attentive, yet not annoying. We enjoyed the Irishman's Chocolate Fondue, but Aaron whipped up an outrageous dark chocolate fondue reminiscent of a Snickers Bar......yummy!
It was so much fun and we had a most enjoyable evening! This was my first time at the Kennesaw location. It was as wonderful as any other location with the exception of the service was a bit slow. Dippers ran out and drinks were empty.
