I'd almost forgotten how much fun and edjoyabe a fondue meal can be. They had a different cheese option that wasn't normally offered...yum!!!! The meat selection were ok, but the chicken was over-seasoned and the pork tasted odd. Our server, Sara, was AH-MAZING... super cute, very personable, knowledgable and very sweet. We were using a Living Social deal and she did not get any sort of attitude that I have experienced in the past when using deals at other restaurants.
The food was a little salty but very good. B/c it was a Living Social deal, we were required to get a specific 4 course option. I was arranging a surprise gathering, and they went out of their way to help set things up so the guest of honor would be surprised. (They went so far as to turn the lights off in the room where we would be—since there was no one else in there yet—so that when we arrived the guests were able to yell "Surprise!" as the lights went on!) The food was marvelous as usual, and the atmosphere was lovely and jovial. The Melting Pot is one of my favorite restaurants for many reasons, and I highly recommend it for romantic evenings, quality time with someone whose company one enjoys, or fun group outings.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMServiceOur server was AMAZING. The Melting post has recently gone through some menu changes which have received some criticism. We try to dine here as often as we can as the environment and food are always top notch. We have never had a bad experience. We have had the pleasure of having repeat servers which is great because while they may not remember us from a past dining experience, the professionalism they exude and the service they provide is never sub-par.
