We had the cheese course, two types--Fiesta and Wisconsin Trio--both were delicious. Then we had salad. The dressings all seem to be a bit bland, we'll skip them next time. Then dessert, of course. Beautiful chocolate with all kinds of dippers. Yum! The service was outstanding. A Tip--if you're only ordering cheese and dessert, you might want to order the cheese course for a person or two extra. It was a very clean and classy restaurant. I was a little hesitant at first, after reading some reviews about waitress staff giving customers a hard time when just ordering dessert. I have to tell you, I am so glad I decided to judge for myself. Our waitress was wonderful. She explained how to fondue works and did a show in front of the kids. They ordered the oreo and marshmallow fondue and were taken back by how they toasted the marshmallow inside the fondue pot. It was amazing. Even the manager came over to check if everything was ok. When we arrived, they had selected one of the best private tables for us. We even had a Happy Anniversary card waiting for us on the table. The food was terrific. Having never been to a fondue restaurant, I did not know what to expect, but the Melting Pot far exceeded my expectations. The service was wonderful and our waitress was very attentive. We didn't feel rushed at all, which gave us lots of time to catch up. The server was super nice and very knowledgable, and he was very attentive. I told the hostess that we were celebrating a birthday, and when we arrived to the table, there was a card there with "Happy Birthday!" written on the envelope, entitling her to a $10 coupon. My friend thought that was so sweet! The Spinach and Artichoke Cheese was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. We chose the 3-selection entrees (2 of them) so we tasted 6 different items. And, of course, the chocolate fondue was the best! Love the variety of dippers! The food was definitely unique. It came to the table as small piles of raw meat that we stabbed with metal skewers and dipped into a boiling broth. When I found out it was restaurant week, I made a reservation and I'm so glad I did! My boyfriend and I had a delicious meal. The setting is nice and private in a big comfy booth. Our watier Chris was excellent in explain the menu and how everything works. The food was delicious and it was nice to have the time to talk and enjoy being with my boyfriend while we were cooking at the same time. Oh and obviously the chocolate fondue at the end was the best part. The bartender and the waitress were friendly and enjoyable. The manager even came by and asked us how everything was. The food is fun and delicious.
